Located in a beautiful part of the country. Lovely welcome with a cup of tea and delicious home made cake. Clean, comfortable accomodation with secure garage parking for our motorbike. Short walk into the village for restaurants and pubs.

Good location on the outskirts of the village but within easy walking distance. Short drive to Hadrian’s Wall to the South and Kielder Water. All our needs were catered for. Graham and Debbie are excellent hosts and did everything to make our stay enjoyable, including tea and cake on arrival and also when we returned from our day out. Excellent cooked breakfast with Debbie’s homemade jam and marmalade to follow.

The bathroom sink is rather small. Personal preference would have been for a removable shower head rather than the overhead rainfall shower.

Maybe the best B&B I have stayed during my trip in UK

Everything. I feel very lucky to have found such a great B&B. I was made to feel like highly valued family member. When I arrived, the first thing I was told was to put my bike in the garage to keep it out of the rain. It just got better and better after that. The room is immaculate with everything you could dream of. If you don't wish to sit in the bedroom the adjacent conservatory is a wonderful space to relax in. Before I'd even unpacked my bags I was brought a caffetier of wonderful coffee and told to ring the doorbell if I wanted anything else. Overall The "Barn" deserves more than the score of 10.

I didn't like leaving. I now regret only booking one night and only hope everyone reading this won't take all the bookings and prevent me from returning.

Graham greeted me warmly with tea and cake. He made sure my motorcycle was parked immediately outside my room and showed me around the property. The bed and pillows were just like home... very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Everything you could possibly want was on offer. The cooked breakfast was made from quality ingredients; cooked and presented with care. Good coffee too.

Nothing! The room wasn't the biggest I'd stayed in, however it is a good size and guests also have use of the large, warm and light conservatory... so loads of space!

I opted for cereals and fruit for breakfast although I was offered a full cooked breakfast as I wanted a lighter meal. Excellent choice of products and even croissants! Graham and his wife were excellent, very friendly, hosts and I was offered refreshments when I arrived and during my stay. There is a single room available at The Barn which is a separate annexe to the main house. The room/ensuite was well equipped and clean and there is use of a large garden room for relaxing.

Really difficult to think of anything negative! I would say the entrance drive is easy to miss and I would suggest reviewing on google map street view prior to arrival.

The location to where I was visiting was ideal , the property was easy to find and a very warm welcome from Graham & Denise, The breakfast is first class and I recommend to try the home made marmalade , the rhubarb & ginger was my favorite ! Well done Graham master marmalade maker. The room and communal space in the annex to the bedroom was ample and the bedroom & ensuite was very clean and complementary short bread and tea making facilities were topped up every day of my stay. Perfect 10 out of 10 stay !

It was all perfect there was nothing I didn't like.

It was an beautifully kept property. A lovely annex on the side of a beautiful house. In an exceptionally stunning area of the world. The room was homely, comfortable and very clean. With perfect commodities and the hosts were extremely helpful and polite. They truly went above and beyond my expectations.

I honestly couldn’t fault it

Excellent B&B in a quiet location. The parking was secure, which ensured our classic car was safe. We had a very warm welcome from Graham and Debbie who provided us with coffee/tea and slice of cake as soon as we arrived. The whole B&B was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bedroom and we had use of the sun lounge. We made the easy 10 minute walk into Bellingham in the evening to The Cheviot Hotel which did excellent food. There was a good choice of food at breakfast and the cooked breakfast was excellent. We hope to return again and highly recommend the B&B.
