The location was great, out of Portsmouth and easy to reach our destination on both days. Hotel was very clean and communal areas and restaurant very cool and spacious. The quiet room request that had not had any pet in was not passed onto the hotel by Booking.com which is a flaw with Booking.com, however the hotel met our request on arrival. The room was quiet although the next door neighbours had their tele on, so presumably the sound proofing is good. The bed was very comfortable and the shower room modern and clean. Breakfast choices were good, wish we'd had more time!

The pillows were very hard so we'll take our own next time.

I liked the location as it was close to the motorway and not too far from Southsea. The room was a good size and it had everything we needed. Breakfast options were good and they didn't take too long to bring out the veggie sausages once requested.

The pressure of the shower wasn't great. The meals were a little pricey so opted for UberEats instead. Cleanliness of the communal areas weren't great, chairs had marks and stains on them. Also had dogs in the eating area which isn't fair on those with allergies, one guest had to clean up their dogs business in the communal area and I didn't see anyone follow it up with a mop

excellent stay! comfy beds, room was quiet as a light sleeper I have to say I couldn’t hear traffic. Breakfast was lovely my little boy certainly enjoyed the chocolate muffins.. I was unsure how breakfast would be as some of the reviews had mentioned that it can sometimes be a bit chaotic but in my opinion I thought it was very organised, and plenty of food for the price of the stay, staff were rushing around cleaning tables and stocking on hot food overall it was a lovely stay and I am sure we will be back in the near future 😊 thank you

Very nice hotel, as expected for a Holiday Inn. I asked for rooms close together for a family group and they were able to fulfil this request for us. We arrived quite late due to the Portsmouth Fiasco and time taken to get through the port. Anyway the hotel were aware of this and had everything ready. Rooms were at the end of a long corridor, next to each other, The rooms were spacious with 2 large double beds in each and large bathroom. Breakfast was nice, buffet style in a lovely seating area.

Paying for parking, Its a nominal fee yes but you are already paying for a room or rooms and then have to pay out to park your car! No lift in the building either which is a pain with a heavy case!

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Incredibly clean and comfortable. Breakfast included was a bonus, and there was a great range available, including a hot option. Staff were polite and helpful. Good location on the outskirts of Portsmouth, only about a 10/15 minute drive to water front. Excellent value for money.

The only downside was no lift and our room was at the end of the longest corridor ever so I would suggest asking for a room on the ground floor/close to reception for anyone with mobility issues.

The room was really clean and nice great you can control the temperature etc Sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but it was satisfactory. Very good that the breakfast was complimentary. Prices of drinks were very reasonable. I you didn't want to pay the expensive food prices then you can bring your own or order your own which is decent.

The hotel should purchase the car park as £5 a night is a tad steep on top of what was already paid The general price of food was excessive, £76 for 4 people and two being children was outrageous and the food was average at best. Massive annoyance was you couldn't use cash! Why won't you take cash? I took a load of cash with me that was saved up especially for this trip and I couldn't spend a penny in the hotel utter madness!

It was very clean, the rooms were spacious with a nice big bathroom. Nice toiletries provided and plenty of towels, hairdryer, ironing board, kettle etc. Plenty of parking but you do have to pay for this.

There is some road noise but considering it’s location this is inevitable. We had a room that interconnected with another and unfortunately the people next door were so noisy and kept us awake until 4.30am. Not the hotels fault of course. Breakfast was good but very busy and things were running out but again with it being a bank holiday it is to be expected.

Breakfast has a very good choice of hot & cold options, the room was very good as we went for the larger room with with a sofa bed. Especially as we had our dogs with us. The only minor thing we found fault with is the fact that the cups are very small, with not option of a larger option. The bed as always, was very comfortable and always seems wider than a usual double.

Give an option of a larger cup/mug. The ones in the rooms are very small and tapered, which also continues into the buffett area. The room was also the other side of the building so was a fair walk with the dogs through the corridor. I understand this was due to the fact we wanted a larger room, but it would be good if there was another option of getting to the far rooms, especially if you have dogs or need to reach your car to unload/pack it.

the beds were very comfy and for breakfast there is a huge variety of hot and cold options that you can also bring back to eat in your room which is great . staff let me check in early when they had a room available as I was tired from travelling and couldn’t wait till 3pm, I appreciated it very much

the only downside was they did not have ice packs as I had surgery and needed to reduce the swelling . they could only offer me ice cubes wrapped in tissue ? surely they should have some available in first aid kit . they also didn’t have decaf tea , they had ran out unfortunately, I couldn’t have caffeine due to medication

The entrance is well laid out and welcoming, the room was very well designed and comfortable, after spending a week in a different hotel every night this was a very nice place to stay for our last night.

The only downside to the visit was the breakfast experience, the food and choice was very good but their was a severe lack of seating and the whole impression was of a cattle market, with the weather being bad the outside tables were unusable, so people were milling around looking for a place to sit and enjoy their breakfast.
