Staff had excellent communication so I’d know what to expect to get access to our rooms. I was glad to have that because nobody was present on site when we arrived at 8pm. Very clean and bed was comfortable. My kids loved the bunk area (bed for 1…one child stayed in the king bed with me).

I wasn’t expecting the rooms to be so small. Hardly room to open suitcase and turn around. The refrigerator is one small one that everyone who is lodging there shares. I found that weird and wasn’t open to putting personal food with strangers. Strict quiet hours which I had to prep my children for. It was a blessing that we were a late arrival or my kids would have really had a tough time being quiet in tight quarters.

The room was quite clean and comfortable (though small), and the location is very good for exploring the Cape Ann area. There is also a nice sitting area where you can make yourself tea or coffee.

Parking is an issue -- you have to be ready at 8:00 am to pay for parking in the public lot by the hotel, and must deal with this between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm every day. There is an app for the parking lot but we could not get it to work. The hotel should resolve this issue. The second problem is that we could not control the temperature in the room, and had to call the staff when we wanted to change it.

The Cabot Lodge is a lovely quaint hotel on the quieter of the 2 main streets running though Beverly. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. The kitchen area was very useful as it had a fridge/freezer & microwave. Also there is multifunctional water dispenser with coffee and tea available.. Staff are very friendly, helpful and just a pleasure to deal with. We had a medical emergency and they were very supportive and helped us through this stressful time.

If you were staying for an extended period of time the rooms may become a bit small. To get to the second smaller bed above the shower room required shoes as the metal rungs will hurt your feet.

Such a cute, charming place! It's the kind of hotel that you still remember years later. First of all, Beverly is such a cute town right out of a tale (lovely Main Street with its shops and cafes, the churches, the gardens...) and this hotel just fits perfectly in it. These girls have though of absolutely everything to the very last detail: the outside of the hotel with its plants, the beautiful lobby, the common area, the room itself, everything has been decorated beautifully. Although sq.ft. wise the plan of the room was not that big, they have managed to fit a full bathroom, a queen size bed and a single bunk bed on top of the bathroom and, it still felt spacious with 3 people sleeping in it. We really appreciated the room under the bed to put the suitcases in, the sink outside of the bathroom, the white noise machine, the little basket of snacks, even the soap/shampoo/moisturizer smelled amazingly. Have I already mentioned how beautifully decorated it is? Last but not least, beds were really comfortable and everything was spotless!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Cabot Lodge. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and practical for shorter stays. The town is lovely and quiet, with the Cabot Lodge being located on the quieter of the 2 main streets, far less vehicles with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and small family run businesses. The Cabot Lodge offers 10% off various local businesses and City Eats just over the road serves breakfast and lunch with a varied menu, the Toasted Blueberry Muffins were amazing and huge!. Thank you so much for going above and beyond.

Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Very clean, very comfortable, Absolutely LOVE the blankets and wish I could get one!! Very convenient location. Easy check in and out. Surprisingly quiet - definitely recommend!!

I don't know anything about the loft bed because I couldn't climb up there. Fortunately that was still just fine because I didn't need it. I'm sure staff will help out if you need it..

I love the location of The Cabot Lodge, right in the centre of the beautiful town of Beverly. The property was beautiful and well decorated, and everything was extremely clean and well presented. We arrived from an overnight flight and the front counter person allowed us to leave our luggage while the room was getting ready. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows as well!

For a person or couple on a weekend trip with small luggage, the size of the room is perfect. We were unfortunately carrying two larger trolleys and backpacks so it was a bit cramped for us, still, not an issue with the property per se.

the sound insulation is really bad so you’ll need earplugs. you can hear the neighbors talk, their A/C, when they take a shower etc. not a problem for me as I always take earplugs with me. staff was nice but rarely present at the desk

This place was a hidden gem!!! You don’t always know what you’re booking when you’re only looking at pictures online. This place was impeccably decorated and clean. The attention to detail was amazing, not to mention all the amenities they offered.

We arrived very late at night and check in was a breeze with a bluetooth key. Parking was plentiful off to the side of the hotel. Good location with an excellent creperie nearby along with a few coffee shops. Very clean; great place to stay for a night.
