I loved this location. I’d always wanted to visit Salem and this spot was the perfect spot for touring. It was on the harbor which has tons of stores, boat excursions, cute places to eat with outdoor seating, etc. It was also walkable to all tourism spots and heritage trail. The best part was that the parking lot was very convenient & easily accessible in a downtown congested area. I took a ride to Marblehead (beautiful must see) and booked a whale watching excursion in Gloucester another day. All easy drives. Loved it here & will return.

Price was high for the room but I was paying for the location.

bathroom could have been cleaner. the toilet was loose and very close to the sink which made it difficult. the description says sound proof rooms but we could hear every noise from neighbors on both sides including their use of the bathrooms. yuck. we ordered breakfast to the room using the convenient door tag but some items were missing. no creamer or sugar for the coffee and could not get them to bring some.

The rooms were very nice, the robes were AWESOME, the STAFF was FANTASTIC and ON POINT! I asked them for a reference for pizza delivery, always smiling and helpful. I saw them having to deal with a very RUDE NY/Long Island woman who cancelled her rooms and then got mad that they were cancelled. The staff treated her with respect even though she was completely disrepectful to the staff, she was just another scammer trying to scam. Even still, staff was VERY respectful to her.

Central location, clean, very comfortable bed, friendly staff, toiletries smelled nice, free bottled water in rooms, pub was convenient for food, provided bathrobes were great for covering up to go to and from the pool, and the gym was well equipped. Both the pool and the gym had bathrooms as well. Bottled water was available in the gym, but not at the pool, which would have been appreciated.

Free parking is available, but can be limited depending on the time and day, and how booked the hotel is. Also, our room was near the elevator, so it was a bit loud one late evening when some young adults decided to hang out in the hall after taking a swim. They moved along when I asked though.

This is the second time we have stayed. The hotel is always beautiful, the staff has always been very helpful, the rooms are clean, and the beds are one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. I’m a huge fan of the toiletries in the room as well. The orange scented soaps and shampoos smell so great. The Waterfront is within walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants in Salem, and the Regatta Pub has great food too. My kids love the pool as well. Always clean and warm for them to go for a swim. There’s not one thing I would change about this property. I can’t wait to come back!

we stayed for almost a week, there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room so we had to throw away a lot of foods we could have reheated and ate. unfortunately the only rooms that have fridges and microwaves are their suites. I would have gladly booked a suite for such amenities but they only offered junior and king suites. when traveling with friends I don’t want to share a bed just for a fridge. otherwise the stay was great.

Great location and amazing staff.

There was a wedding party there as we were checking in making it very difficult to get a dolley since the photographer and florists were using all of them for their stuff. As we were trying to get into the lobby with our stuff, the wedding party was taking up most of the space in the lobby and made it very difficult for us to bring our stuff through and avoid ruining outfits and other items of those sitting around the lobby.

Me and my husband stayed one night, we really enjoyed how close everything was walking distance to us. Our room was a good size, we had a king bed which was very comfortable. There were two windows, one window had a little harbor view and the other was street view. We liked that we got there earlier in the day and they let us park so we didn't have to pay at a garage or in a lot, we also liked that they let us check in early. The downstairs lobby was beautiful and smelt great! We looked at the pool but didn't have time to swim, it looked decently sized.

Downfall was no mini fridge in the room which I already knew wasn't going to be there, however you can pre ask them a day before your stay for one but you pay a $25 fee, if we stayed two nights we would've done it but we didn't this time.

My daughter flew in and arrived at the hotel a bit before my friend and I did by car. Hennessey was very gracious, by giving her the Wi-Fi password and let her sit in the lobby until we arrived. Extra comfortable beds and pillows. The perfect central location to all the places we wanted to go. The room was spacious with a nice seating area and lots of drawer space.

Wi-Fi was hit and miss at times. Walls were a but thin because one night we could hear the person in the next room snoring. One day it was a bit chilly and we tried to use the heater. The fan worked but it only blew cold air, no heat.

the pool filters are filthy black, the stay was comfortable but we couldn’t order wine to our room according to the front desk agent around 8pm during our stay she wasn’t nice and was snickering while saying we had to come down and also mentioned no drinks to the pool which I understood that, my point was I wanted to order a bottle of wine to my room she said I couldn’t do that so I ended up ordering wine on Uber eats, she lacks hospitality training, she looks grumpy from the moment we walked into the hotel. Brandon was amazing he helped while we were there, it’s thanks to him I didn’t give a lower rating
