This B&B is located in a historical small town and is close to a lot of places to visit. The B&B itself is beautifully furnished and the bed in the Port Suite was the most comfortable we have slept in while on vacation. The breakfasts and afternoon treats were unique and delicious each day. The owners Justin and Drew are very attentive and went out of their way to make our stay a great one. Also a added bonus for us as dog parents we loved getting greeted by Gabe each day. We absolutely loved our visit here and we will be coming back for another stay.

The place is amazing !! I got there alone with three small children and the house of Justin Drew and Gabe (the dog) was just what I needed. The place is homely and warm, there is a large and beautiful backyard - full of green with plenty of space for children. The breakfast was pampering and of course delicious cookies / cakes were always waiting for us on the table at the entrance. And most importantly, Justin and Drew are lovely people. Most of all we got to be with Justin and he is just stunning !! Most recommended ♥ ️

I have stayed in many B & B's in my life and this is by far the best ever! The sparkling cleanliness, the warmth of the host, Justin, and Gabe-the best dog ever! Didn't have the pleasure of meeting Drew, but I look forward to that on our next visit. I miss Justin and Gabe as if we were old friends. This is a totally safe place that I recommend to all of you - and an especially welcoming place for my LGBTQIA+ family. Breakfast always exceeded expectations, with an especially delicious send-off breakfast. Farm fruit smoothie, home baked goods, Dean's Beans coffee (the best and they're a great Western Mass company) and more! Justin recommended a deli nearby that was off the hook! The decor, the simplicity, attention to detail, the hospitality - it's as if you're home - only better. HIGHLY recommend. My friends who know me know I have very high standards and do not give away compliments too easily. This place is a balm. Thank you, Justin - your radiance remains with us - Jim and I will see you again! P.S. We had to cancel the first time - not only did they accept our cancellation, but lowered to rate to the season! Integrity and social consciousness all around!

Hahahahaha - that I gained a little weight from the DELICIOUS pastries!

The house is located in Essex, about half-hour from Gloucester and Rockport and about 1.5 hrs from Boston. We had easy time traveling, except for occasional traffic jams (normal for Massachusetts). Justin and Drew are great hosts, and they helped us learn about the area and plan our holiday. The breakfasts were quite good, and the hosts took care to accommodate our specific food preferences.

It was not a problem for us, but people need to know that the rooms are upstairs and the stairs can be challenging (slippery hard floor). The hosts are happy to help with luggage, so don't hesitate to ask.

A beautiful 17th century property that still retained its rustic characteristics both in feel and location. Located near Essex so plenty of facilities nearby as well as Ipswich for its History and Gloucester as a seaport. Great also if you like seafood - plenty of places to eat nearby. It’s owners are very personable and helpful and we experienced a warm welcome. Highly recommended!

What a lovely experience....welcoming friendly hosts. Lovely individual breakfast....access to coffee & teas with sweet treats on arrival. Bed was super comfortable & great bathroom. So much space in the room. Nothing was too much trouble. And Gabe the dog was an added bonus.

Only criticism was we couldn't control the heat in our room.

This was a true B&B experience. The historic, 17th century schoolhouse is charming and still has many original elements. The proprietors are friendly and hospitable. They did their best to anticipate anything we might need during our stay. Simple breakfasts were home-made with fresh ingredients. The linens were fresh and the rooms were comfortable. They truly made us feel we were at home, visiting with friends. We definitely would enjoy a return visit!

The property was stunning! And our hosts were so sweet and kind. The property was so quiet and clean, the beds were comfy and our hosts made us breakfast and left hot tea and coffee at our doors. the hospitality was 1000/10! Will definitely stay again.

Great location, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable B & B. This home, originally a farmhouse built in the 1600s has been modernized by the owners but still displays some period pieces and other elements to maintain its old fashioned charm. A wonderful breakfast was served every morning. I had homemade pumpkin bead, cinnamon buns, homemade granola, and fresh fruit over my 3 day stay. Drew was incredibly helpful with restaurant and sightseeing suggestions. I can’t wait to go back in the fall and truly enjoy the beauty of Essex in all its glory.
