Hotel Little Regina

Central to train and metro stn. Literally at the top of the metro stairs. All receptionists were very helpful and spoke English. Kept my suitcases for the day free of charge as had late flight. Breakfast amazing and kids were free. Bonus as they don’t eat much. Croissant and some juice. The baguette with butter and jam was amazing. Clean linen, hotel smelt amazing as must use lovely fabric conditioner which makes sheets, towels and apartment smell amazing as the laundry room on constantly. Would definitely stay again as was a bargain against some of the other prices I was looking at.

Great location very convenient for transport links. Characterful building. Room relatively compact but perfectly functional. Excellent clean ensuite. Plenty of hot water and clean towels. Bed linen crisp and clean. Bed hard and low but comfortable. Opening window with a good street view. Very Parisian. Helpful and friendly staff. Simple buffet breakfast, croissants fresh and tasty.

The hotel is a town house and although it had a small lift this was not functional. 4 flights of steep stairs was a bit of a challenge although the upper three floors had lovely wooden stairs and bannisters. There was a fan in the room but it only worked intermittently. No air conditioning.

We needed one night in Paris on our way south. This met the need perfectly. A small (its in the name!) hotel close to Gare de l'Este and all the bustle that goes with it. A very clean room on the first floor with an excellent shower. Friendly staff and friendly check out time (12 noon). Our room had a balcony where we sat out (it had not been cleaned of cigarette ends and bottles the only slight let down.) Inevitably there is street noise in thus location. We liked the place and the people. Well placed for Metro and buses.

Balcony needed a clear up. Street noise at night (but only what you expect in a 24 hour city). The good far outweighs the bad.

Little Regina is a good value hotel very close to Gare de l’Est. This was our second stay there as it’s so convenient. They have been making some changes to the hotel over the past several months. The first time we came last year we had a very small room overlooking the street, which can be a little noisy at night, but this time we managed to book a studio which I think is one of the new facilities there. It was beautifully set out with a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom at the back of the building so very quiet. Everything was spotlessly clean and very new. We were given a selection of teabags to take up and a litre of fresh milk. We really couldn’t have asked for more for an overnight stay. This is a gem of a small hotel - the little but mighty Regina! Well done to them for everything they’re doing to improve the spaces. We would happily stay here again.

Great location, just steps from Gare de l'Est and four blocks from Gare du Nord, both in Paris. The front entrance and registration desk were undergoing renovation when we were there but it didn't affect the registration process. As is typical for two-star French hotels, the elevator was efficient but small. Also as is typical in 2-star hotels, the room was much smaller than rooms in the U.S. but the en-suite facilities were sufficient. My room was on the street (a nice touch) on the 3rd floor; the women I was traveling with had an identical room on the 5th floor

I'm glad I'd packed an extension cord for my CPAP, because I found no outlets close to the head of the bed. The American extension cord required a European adapter; I wish I'd packed a grounded adapter because it would be more secure in the European wall socket than the simple non-grounded adapter that I packed. I also didn't appreciate that the cabinet holding the TV jutted out over the bed a couple inches.

great location and lovely studio . clean and well decorated. close to train and bus services . cafes and restaurants close by . breakfast ok.

Very poor wi-fi , particularly in the studio. tried to put in the password which kept falling . Eventually the man in reception put another password in that appeared to work , but as soon as I went to the studio it stopped . Card reader appeared very old and no touch to pay. After trying and failing several times to pay for the breakfast, I had to give up. luckily we had some cash to pay for this.

Very nice little hotel on TOP location (Across the street from Gare del'Est, few minutes walking distance from Gare du Nord, nice park very near, Monop shop&bakeries just around the corner, many restaurants across the street, also walking distance cca 30 min to Montmartre, Louvre and La Fayette shopping aerea). Very clean. Towels smell delicious. Nice new rooms. Cutest little elevator. Very friendly receptionists. Would recommend to anyone, especially friends.

Rooms are not soundproof. You can hear guests in nearby rooms, so if that's problem for you I suggest earplugs 😁.

I stayed late Sept in room 605 - top floor. It was a nice surprise as the room was quite big. Large living/kitchen area, sizeable bathroom and big bedroom with study/Walk in cupboard. The exposed beams were a nice feature. Lighting in bedroom was lovely, the bed was comfortable, room clean throughout. Small kitchen with basic equipment enough to cook basic meal. Window views of just rooftops, this room was quiet as not street facing. Picture frames were empty of art, only negative. Staff were super lovely, knowledgeable and accommodating. Good location next to metro and Gare De Nord and l'Est.

Hotel was located close to the Gare de l'est, and therefore, there is great access to the Paris subway and the trains coming in and out of Paris. The room was very spacious and there was a full kitchen in the room. There were many cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a key that went straight to our room from the street. Potentially a security concern, but I liked being able to walk into our room directly from the street.

The room that we stayed in really was not setup to sleep four people, really more three people with a couch for the fourth. The couch did not fold out. The room we stayed in was recently renovated, but other parts of the hotel needed to be renovated, a work in progress. I had someone try to pickpocket me in the subway station next to the hotel. Really not something that the hotel could control but visitors should take pickpockets and petty theft seriously when in Paris.

The location was chosen to be near Gare de Nord. It was 5 minutes walk and we could see Gare de l"Est from our window. Despite some renovations at the hotel, everywhere was spotless and we weren't disturbed by any noise even though we were tired and slept a little late. The room was comfortable, the shower was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Coped well with our wobbly French and excellent English when it failed! Optional breakfast was good value at €7. There are good restaurants and cafes around. Even places for Brits returning on Eurostar to stock up on tomatoes and peppers. There are higher spec hotels, but for value and convenience this was perfect. We'll definitely book again
