Nord Est Hotel

The perfect location within walking distance of many important places, not in the least both Gare du Nord and Gard de l'Est is a definite plus, as is the friendliness of the personnel who did everything they could to help us, in various languages, I might add, which is unusual in France. The room itself was perfect as well, located at the back of the building and therefore utterly quiet and ideal for a perfect night's rest after many miles of walking about the city. In short, a perfect stay and highly recommendable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located near huge Gare du Nord RER/train/metro station (direct access to CDG airport) and smaller metro station Poissoniers ( direct access to Louvre) with one transfer to Disneyland etc. I suggest using this smaller station because with one transfer you can go everywhere in Paris. The room was clean and all was working. I used elevator every day with no problems. There is a fridge in room. Room service and clean towels every day. It was very quiet inside. There is a small grocery store and a small market with French food products on the other side of the street. It would be better to have a kettle in room, but not a big problem for us because we borrowed kettle from staff every morning with no problems.

This hotel appeared like a little oasis on the street! What a sweet place! The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had questions. Another couple in our group was on the floor above us and it was a nice surprise to find the lift since that hadn’t always been our experience. The room had enough space for our luggage and the bed was comfy. We loved the little courtyard to gather and eat our lunch which we purchased elsewhere. The hotel’s breakfast was a great bargain and delicious. And it was actually quiet for sleeping which we weren’t expecting near Gare du Nord. A perfect, affordable place for our last night in Paris!

Not a thing!

Location is fantastic - loved being minutes away from public transportations and food options that are not flooded with tourists. Did not feel unsafe at all while walking about during daytime, could not testify to night time. The greenery in and around the hotel is a nice oasis after wandering around Paris all day.

Rooms were on the small side but understandable being Paris. Although I wished the walls were a little thicker as you could hear the noises from the corridor.

Breakfast was good and fresh , location good , a short walk from the gare du nord through buzzy area , large covered market on the corner , easy access to three metroo stations . Choice of nearby food outlets including Maison Blue recommended restaurant by Abdul our first night receptionist. All the receptionist staff were friendly and helpful , room was very comfortable and always well cleaned .

The staff was very friendly and welcoming! We enjoyed speaking to them and hearing their jokes! We liked that the beds and shower were comfortable.

The room and bathroom were very small, but expected for Europe. The location was a little further to the town than we liked but there were trains close by. The location was also close to were the riots were so it was a little dangerous but that’s not the hotels fault.

I liked everything about it. The hotel was recently refurbished and is still in the process of being refurbished. The bed was very comfortable, the toilet was clean and so was the room. That had somebody come and clean the room everyday and they would give complimentary towels and shampoo. It was near the main train station therefore it was easy to arrive there.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

It was a really great location and the staff was super friendly! We stayed in 15th ARR prior to booking this place and it didn’t not AC. Compared to the first place we booked, this one was a much better location, the room was much nicer (with AC!) and the property was really lovely.

The blow dryers could be updated and full-length mirrors could be added. Otherwise, no complaints.

Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was super helpful with recommendations for places to eat and best ways to get around. Location was perfect! You could certainly pay more for a place in Paris but this was great for our large family that needed two rooms and the price was just right.

No real dislikes. breakfast option was very light for the price but there are plenty of options within close walking distance.

The staff were funny and friendly; the location was fabulous between Gare de Nord and Gare de le Est - with easy access to the Metro. We spent a couple of good evenings downstairs w friends after eating out. There is a great local market closeby - Marché San Quentin. There are a few stairs to manage with luggage, but a lift to get up to the rooms.
