Hotel d'Amiens

The desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. The cleaning people were very good at their job although i never met them. The location is equal distance from Gare Nord and l'est and is very convenient. The room is typical Paris size as is the wc.

The neighborhood is a bit sketchy. We always went towards Gare L'est which was more Paris but the other way was a different world. The breakfast staff were not very friendly and repeatedly stepped in front of guests to get their own food or beverages. They also did not provide eggs and sausage one day without explanation. Air was paid for and expected, but it was not provided as advertised.

The room was clean and quiet, with a small minifridge which was useful, the bathroom had good water pressure even though the shower and bathroom themselves were quite small. The hotel's within walking distance to both gare de l'est and gare de nord, from gare de l'est you just go outside on the side and up the escalator and you're there. The location was also very convenient for taking the metro and getting around Paris

Bathroom and shower were a little small, but then it was a single room so it's understandable. Also I didn't have time to try the breakfast, but the entrance lounge area shares the breakfast area, which doesn't bother some but it's nice when these two areas are separate for me.

The room was nice and clean, had a bathtub with a shower, and the maid cleaned it everyday. Staff was very pleasent, helpful, and most spoke english. Breakfast was served everyday...fresh fruit, cereal, scrambled eggs, crepes, turkey sausage and/or ham, toast, pasteries, yogurt, assortments of coffee's and tea's as well as orange and apple Juice. The location is great! Very close to both Gare De Nord and Gare De L'est train stations, which will take you anywhere in Paris, and some other places in Europe! Plenty of resturants grocery stores which sold fresh produce, and places to change currency. Overall expereince was great! I would definitely stay here again!

I wish they would extend breakfast hours to 11am...Everything else was great!!!!!!!

I had the pleasure of spending just one day and I need to highlight the excellent service I received from receptionist Gloria. Her warm hospitality and professionalism made all the difference in my stay. From the moment I entered the hotel, Gloria greeted me with a warm smile and a welcoming attitude. She assisted me with the check-in process efficiently, explaining all the hotel's services and amenities with great care and attention to detail. Her helpfulness made the process so smooth and enjoyable. Furthermore, throughout my entire stay, Gloria was always willing to help. She promptly addressed all my questions and requests, ensuring that I felt comfortable and well taken care of during my stay. Her ability to handle guests' demands in such a professional and courteous manner is truly impressive.

The location is great, right next to the main stations and we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to visit. The rooms and bathroom were spacious and very clean, the beds were really comfortable. They allowed us to leave our bags for the day after check-out. One of the staff members Gloria was lovely and so helpful, I left my shoes and they posted them back to me which was very kind of them.

One of the other staff members was not so friendly which is a shame but overall this is a great hotel, good value for money and I would definitely stay again.

We needed a hotel close to the Gare Du Nord, and this was exactly that. Only a few minutes walk away. We were only there for one night but we did enjoy our stay. We stayed in another hotel in the Montmartre area for 4 nights - a very different vibe in these 2 areas. This is the sparkly wedding accessories area, if only I was looking for a dress! The hotel reception was clean and welcoming. The rooms were spotless and this was the most comfortable bed we slept in over all the hotels we stayed in. Aircon was quiet and cold, blackout curtains worked a treat and the shower was great. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good - a fair selection of everything you'd expect, in a lovely breakfast room.

The best thing about the hotel is its location. It's very closely situated near to train stations 'Gare du Nord' 5 minutes walk - direct train RER B from Airport and 'Gare de l’Est' 3 minutes walk - direct metro to 'Louvre Museum' and changing to 'Effiel Tower'. I also like various take away food shops nearby for cheap 7 Euro food. The room was a bit small in a way you can't really stretch and only enough to walk. I didn't opt for breakfast due to other options available outside. I stayed on the 4th floor and had no street noise disturbance for sleep.

The room size and the bakery smell around 6am-7am for 20–30 minutes coming from room ventilation every day.

Definitely a find in this area. Railway station quarters aren't usually the nicest touristic areas, and this part of Paris, around Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, is no exception. Yet, this modest-looking hotel is a quiet little oasis in a hidden side street. Friendly service, great rooms with relatively low noise, a large and well-equipped bathroom and an excellent breakfast buffet made our stay unexpectedly comfortable. Definitely recommended.

I like my mattress to be a little softer than it was here, but that's about the only thing I can think of.

I needed a place to stay for a night near Gare de l'Est so I could hop on a train to Champagne the next day. Hotel d'Amiens popped up and I booked last minute with no expectations. Happy to say the hotel is clean, comfortable, and very convenient. Staff were accommodating and fulfilled my request for a very early wakeup call (6:00am). Bed was quite comfortable and clean. Room was cozy and well-maintained. For a short stay, it fit the bill and wasn't too expensive to boot.

The hotel is well located near the Gare d’Est train station but at the same time it is not dirty in the street (these who have been in Paris before will understand what I mean) ☺️ The breakfast was included and was really well served, it was good not to look for a place to get a breakfast. The room is small as usual in Paris but sufficient enough to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, all speak good English. We enjoyed the stay, thanks a lot
