Great location to Gare de Nord ( especially if using the Eurostar) & the Metro. The room was smallish but the room we had with a balcony was wonderful!! This is not one of Paris’s best neighbourhoods but it is excellent for cafes, restaurants, supermarket, & the convenience of public transport to a lot of favourite tourist destinations. And to top it off the staff were a delight; welcoming, friendly; one staff member walked us into the Metro on our first morning to make sure we were going the right direction; how’s that for great service. And we loved the breakfasts with smiling helpful staff, nothing was a trouble. Highly recommendedrecommended

We loved it all.

close to train station and Montmarte (Sacre Coeur). rooms were plenty comfortable and the breakfast was easy, plentiful and good enough

while the location was convenient, it was not great for a family - a messy, hectic part of the city with a lack of good, clean eating options. But, if you walk 4 blocks away, toward Montmarte, it gets much better.

We use Ibis hotels regularly, because we know what to expect. This is the first time we stayed at the Ibis TGV, the reason being that it is just in front of the Gare du Nord. The rooms are always small in Paris, this one was quite small, but then again, it had everything we needed in terms of equipment. The hotel is newly refurbished, so it's clean, everything works well, plenty of plugs; thy changed our towels and cups every day, even though we did not ask for that specifically. The staff is excellent, very polite, friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is on a main road, and there is plenty of traffic, the windows are double glazed and you cannot hear much of the hustle and bustle going down on the street - I am light sleeper, and always carry ear plugs with me, but I found the level of noise quite bearable. The price is higher here because of the location, but, of course, I find this absolutely normal. The hotel is very close to amazing pastry shops and restaurants, but also offers their own breakfast if you wish - plenty to choose from. Overall, great stay, just as I expected, would go back there.

The room was one of the smallest I ever had, just about 40 cm around the bed, and a tiny bathroom, but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable and big enough, and I am aware that space is very limited in Paris, so thin is not really a complaint, just stating a fact.

Safe and centrally located (5 min away) from Gare Du Nord with lots of eateries along the way and surrounding areas. The check in and check out process was fast and simple. Room was clean, cool, with functioning TV and hot water, hair dryer. Breakfast was basic but nice to start the day with, plus they start serving very early for travelers. There's also drinking water throughout the day in the lobby and free luggage storage, which I really appreciate.

The pillows were too flat. The refillable bathing and washing soap bottles seems to just be enough for the guest's duration of stay. I can understand limiting wastage but it looks odd having a big bottle and less than quarter filled. The hotel is conveniently located opposite a bus stop and you barely hear the traffic. Unfortunately, I can hear something like a train running/ someone dragging something somewhere at irregular intervals. No idea where its coming from since there's no train near the hotel. Thankfully it doesn't happen when guests are resting.

Awesome receptionist who treated my daughter as very special. The room was very clean with nice bathroom and shower. The towels were changed and room tidied without us asking for it. Great choice for breakfast. Great location if you are using the Gare du Nord. The hotel has a taxi company they use, so it was very easy to book a taxi through reception.

The beds have plastic sheeting underneath which I found uncomfortable when I moved in the bed. It was relatively noisy due to the location near the train station and the area felt a little unsafe at night.

The size of the room was astounding for Paris- massive and comfortable. Massive bathroom and really very good and hot powerful shower. The beds were extremely comfortable, even the pull out one for the children. The whole place was very clean. It was a perfect stay. Staff were really great, helpful without being overbearing. I think this is the best place I have ever stayed in Paris. So close to the Eurostar, just 1 min walk. Supermarkets everywhere and metro easy and close. I will stay here again.

Exceptionally nice and helpful staff at the reception area, both in the evening and on the night shift. Quick and easy access to my very early train. Simple but very clean room and bathroom. And a surprisingly copious and delicious looking breakfast that unfortunately I didn’t leave myself enough time to enjoy. I love that they start serving at 5:30 AM though! Will definitely return as I have to make this same trip several times a year.

Honestly, nothing. I didn’t have the highest of expectations, and was pleasantly surprised at each turn.

Area very busy but very convenient for the Gare du Nord. My newly decorated room was compact but had everything you would want for an overnight/short stay (lovely bathroom). The room was at the back of the building and overlooked the rear of other buildings- not surprising in such a built up area, so not a problem for me. The breakfast room was modern, clean and welcoming. There was a wide selection of appetising food. Above all, the staff were wonderful. On the morning of my departure II had a really bad and prolonged nose bleed. Everyone: receptionists, lady in charge of breakfast room and other guests, were all great and , after unsuccessfully trying to stop the bleeding, called an ambulance for me and even changed my Eurostar ticket. I can”t praise them enough.

Nothing that the hotel could change. The area might be disappointing for people visiting Paris to see the sights , but on the other hand is convenient for the station.

This hotel is in a great location for Garde du Nord TGV. A lovely area with plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel has a modern reception area and breakfast room. The continental buffet breakfast with hot and cold items was superb. Bedroom was compact but extremely comfortable, on the 6th floor, right at the top of the building with amazing views. Both the bed and the pillows were blissful to sleep on.

Unusually the room did not have any tea or coffee making facilities. There isn't a restaurant or bar in the hotel either, so we had to go out to get drinks when we wanted them.

Location: Considering that Gare du Nord is not the nicest neighbourhood of Paris, this is a good spot in that area. Two minutes walk from the station, all restaurants including Terminus around the corner. So it actualliy is a very practical location if you come for a short business meeting, or if you want to stay close to the station, because of all the strikes that paralyze the city so often. Safety: 24/24 reception. The front door closes in the late evening and night, you just ring the bell, which is much better than everybody walking in and out. Rooms: clean, comfortable for the price/class, and not noisy, in spite of the location. Staff: very friendly and very helpful. Storage of luggage in case of early arrival or late departure is provided. Bathroom: a bit more spacious than many other IBIS hotels. Breakfast: buffet style in a small breakfast area, but everything is there, everything is replenished often, egg boiler to boil your eggs the way you want, choice of yoghurt, bread, cheese, some cold cuts, cereals, fruit, you can press your fresh orange juice, coffee, tea, water dispenser and friendly service. Much better than the café on the corner... Overall, good value for the price!

The WIFI is not that good. The instruction (network name!) is not completely correct and after you get it working, it is not very stable. Had to use my phone as hotspot.
