Novotel Mexico City World Trade Center

Very modern rooms, bathroom fixtures, lighting in room, sinks, cupboards were all very nice and felt new. Room was cleaned everyday. Great location in the city with easy walking to shopping, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. The gym was excellent, really sleek looking and great to have the yoga mats and water refill station. Elevators also worked very well. Food that I tried for room service was good too and good value.

The shower doesn't seem to be very functionally designed. The sliding doors somehow allowed water to leak out and left puddles outside of the bathroom. The sprayer should have been placed on the other wall so water does not hit the sliding doors. When i first arrived, the AC was not working and after a couple of tries i had to be moved to another room. The staff was nice about it but it was not convenient to have to be moved.

I liked almost everything. It feels like a Novotel - which sounds weird but doesn't always happen in Mexico - so I'm happy. Breakfast might be the most notable feature that will set it apart from other Hotels in this zone.

Please fix the card-readers on the elevators, they suck big time! also note that while trying to get access to my floor, the elevator took me for a ride, so effectively, anyone can jump into an elevator and be taken to a random floor, which I think defeats the security effort made by implementing card-readers. Beds could be more comfortable, also needs slimmer pillows. Please consider using lighter roast coffee for the Espresso, since dark roast results in too bitter extractions. I think rooms are almost perfect, but add tissue paper and wash cloth.

The dining experience, gym, bar, and interior design was impressive.

There was a long delay checking in and once I got to my room, the cleaning staff was still inside cleaning the room. Deliveries were not permitted to come to the rooms which made it very inconvenient to receive takeout orders.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and attentive. our room was perfect with an amazing view of the city - we even watched the sunrise in the morning! The hotel is excellent value for money, very peaceful and quiet with absolutely no noise from traffic or other guests. The bed was also very comfortable. We will be returning!

Nothing - everything was perfect

It was the perfect location and comfortable, for a quick visit to Mexico City. Public transportation close by, we walked around in the evening as there was a large choice of restaurants close by. Check-in and out was super easy.

The sliding doors to the shower and toilet did not close. The water from shower did not drain well. If not careful you could actually flood the room.

We were very pleased and for sure will be back to that hotel. Staff amazing, helpful and willing to help and informed. Breakfast is good and location cannot be better!

Queen beds instead of king that I think might be ok although some people might see it as thight.

Everything was compact as you'd expect but it remained comfortable and good on the eyes. It is the best thing if you are staying and don't care about having lots of space in the room.
