Lisboa Prata Boutique Hotel

Excellent location, excellent service, elegant building and decoration

Our room no 405 had a very small window without transparent glass. the glass had a white film because the outside is looking to the back window of a restaurant or so. The interior was quite dark. And the photo of the room at the description didn’t match the real room because in the photo the room is shown with a big transparent window

The location is great in the heart of the old town and it is very simple to travel everywhere. The staff is kind and helpful. The interior of the hoel is interesting and we loved the elements of ancient items exposited.

We can’t find any essencial drawbacks, just it would be great to have more various breakfast. All week it was the same.

Housekeeping cleaned the room and left no Toilet paper but did leave used drinking glasses. This was the 3rd day of dirty glasses being left in the room. Reported to concierge desk. (again) Responded with sincere apologies and a bottle of wine.

Excellent location for city break. Comfortable and clean. Friendly and professional staff.

For some reason it proved difficult to get milk as part of coffee/tea facilities in bedroom. I was told to call room service as needed, no doubt at extra cost. Coffee / tea sachets weren’t refilled. Not the hotel’s fault but outside our room on Rua do Prata we’re major sewage works that had an unpleasant smell on occasions and noisy machinery working from 8am. Although not every day. Had we known about it we probably wouldn’t have booked.

I really liked staying for five nights at this hotel. It was an easy walk from Rossio Metro station, although the Portuguese cobble stones are not fun with a suitcase. The ambience is lovely, the hotel being built from an eighteen century building. From the start, the staff were friendly and informative. The room did not have a view, but that was of no concern to me. It had everything I required. The wifi signal strength was excellent. The hotel is well placed in the old centre of Lisbon, close to the trams, shops, the river and other transport outlets. The breakfast was included in the price. It was simple, but very fulfilling. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in central Lisbon. It was great value for money.

Nothing at all.

The location is great. 5 min walk to metro station and 5 minute walk to the waterfront. Plenty bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a wee balcony so we could open the door for fresh air. It’s only big enough to stand on which was fine.

You could hear quite a bit of noise from other rooms. I was woken up at 6am with someone else’s alarm. Would be good if they had an iron which we could borrow from reception. Breakfast had to be pre ordered the night before so we didn’t bother. There are loads of reasonably priced cafes for breakfast within a few minutes walk.

It was not completely clean, the hairdryer didn't work properly and there was not enough toilet paper

Boutique accommodation was beautiful. Location perfect. comfortable, clean. Staff helpful.

Expensive, and should include breakfast.

Location. Right next to the city streets and cafes. Beds were comfortable. Room was big and clean. Bathroom and shower nice and clean. Small and charming hotel. Safe. The doors were looked and they had to open for us every time we arrived.

Breakfast was expensive (12 euros). You have to order in advance and get only what checked on your order. Another glass og juice or more coffee was given, but with a sigh. We had to get up early in the weekend to go to a conference. Breakfast was not started on when we arrived at the specific time. Only one person to fix breakfast for everyone. Nice breakfast for 3 euros at cafe nearby.

Breakfast to be ordered the night before, giving time required (with 15 min tolerance). It means that there is no crowding around a serving table, as most of the food/drinks are hand served. Most comfortable beds... and pillow.

Only ONE table lamp beside one side of the bed... there should have been 2. Not any fault of the hotel but major works are being carried out, probably for the rest of the year (sewers being re-vamped after 400 years!).. but it doesn't really disturb the wonderful central position of this hotel.
