The location is fantastic. About a three minute walk to either Rossio Square (metro, trams) or the Placa do Comercio. One of the major pedestrian shopping / restaurant areas is literally the next street over. The staff is exceedingly helpful and attentive, also everyone spoke excellent English which was great. Check in time is 3pm,and it seems to be fairly firm, but they happily watched our bags when we arrived in the morning and had the bags delivered to our room by 5pm when we finally made it back from our first day of exploring the city. The do it yourself breakfast is fantastic and really suited us well. Bread, eggs, oranges for juice, assorted fruit, yogurt, granola and dry cereal each day. Housekeeping replaces the items you use each day so that you are fully stocked for the next. Also milk in the fridge and a espresso machine. There is an elevator which was very nice for moving our luggage and if we were too worn out at the end of the day - though after a day walking around Lisboa, what is another three flights of steps?! Hotel also can arrange a hotel shuttle back which is convenient. Taxi from the airport on the first day was 28 Euro (Feb 2023). We were glad to have done that instead of Metro, while the walk is short, it's cobblestones most of the way to the hotel. Could not recommend this hotel more. If we ever come back to Lisboa, we will certainly look here first. I wish that they had locations in other cities, as other hotels like the Dare Lisbon House would be a must.

Honestly everything was great. Some people might be bothered by the evening music. The hotel's location is excellent, right near the main pedestrian dining and shopping street. Each night, there were street performers playing music to the crowds. We loved standing on the balcony listening to the music as we settled down, but it does seem to go on until around 10 or 1030. One other thing that others might want to know, though it didn't bother us at all, is that the breakfast selection mostly stays the same each day. We weren't bothered by this even after five nights, but it's probably good to know this going in.

Loved the location. The front desk were incredibly helpful with recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants, even setting up arrangements for us. The property is well kept and funky in decor. Enjoyed it immensely.

Central air went out a few times, but we were able to get it reset. Wish there was a bit more hot water when we showered. Wish they would have changed the sheets once while we were there for the 7 day stay.

The customer service provided by all staff members was amazing.

The first room we stayed in on the Rua dos Sapateiros side was a bit noisy very early in the morning, if you are on the opposite side of the building it's perfect!

Great location. Very nice apartment. A lot of extra touches to make your stay pleasant.

Live music from the street below went very very late into the night.

It is an Aparthotel. It is very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and very useful for making small meals. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location, close to everything with a subway two blocks away and well located between two of the main train stations for day trips.

We thought that the breakfast would be made by the hotel, but in fact they provide food such as eggs and bread for the guest to prepare his own breakfast. We think that for the high price of the daily rate, there should be more variety of food. We felt the need to buy other stuf in the market to complement this breakfast.

The breakfast was our favorite part of the hotel and my son loved his special loft bedroom. The extra space with the little kitchenette was so valuable. The coffee was fantastic and the fresh bread, milk, yogurt, fruit, and fresh squeezed orange juice were wonderful! A perfect start to the day. The location was fantastic for sightseeing and dining. The staff helped us coordinate transportation, gave us advice on how to get tickets and where to sit for a Benfica game, and made dinner reservations for us. They even accommodated us when we arrived early from a red-eye overseas flight. We can’t wait to go back to Lisbon so we can stay there again!

We liked everything! Dare Lisbon House is in the tourist zone, which can feel busy and isn’t the “real” Lisbon, but it’s around a corner from the elevator and busy streets so you could easily forget how close you were to all of the tourists.

HIstoric accommodations in the heart of old Lisbon; excellent location for walking to sights and restaurants. Modern design in old building; tasteful and beautiful. The breakfast provided, the extra efforts the staff went to in order to make our stay a warm welcome was really what sets this small, luxury boutique hotel apart from any other we've stayed in. Coming back at the end of a day of exploring, being offered a glass of wine; chatting with other guests .. it felt like coming home. HIghly recommend. Would love to return.

From the moment we arrived we were met by friendly reception staff, offered drinks and were given a full explanation of Dare Lisbon House. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, and cleaned daily. The provisions for breakfast were well thought out, with even fresh oranges and an electric orange squeezer. The espresso machine was great too! The whole atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxed, but super efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location in the central area of Lisbon, just steps in any direction to great dining options. The kitchenette with breakfast foods and daily bread and pastries was great to wake up to and so convenient. It's a really cool property, an old building with modern design. And the staff was excellent, everyone was so friendly and helpful with providing tips on where to visit and even scheduled a private tour to Sintra for us. Just an overall great stay!

The only thing that could've been better would be additional seating area, but maybe it was just the specific room we had. There was a bistro table and chairs in the kitchen but a loveseat or armchair would have been nice. Not a big complaint, it was only negative thing and really not that big of a deal.

Location is perfect in Old Lisbon, one street over from scenic shopping street and a short walk to beautiful waterfront. Felipa was so helpful at greeting and our apartment was exceptional. Although you make your own breakfast, the supplies given are outstanding, fruits, fresh breads, eggs, milk, coffee, just great. Beds were on the firm side but very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Some construction nearby, so intermittent noise during late afternoons, but not an issue if you visit during day and only stay in apartment at night, otherwise very quiet. Would not say this was a deterrent, but thought of mentioning.
