Recent refurbishment is on going. Room spotlessly clean. Quaint 1965 style ,rather unique. Bed comfortable. Overlooking pool and at night no outside road noise heard. Great value for money. Pool spotlessly clean, a little small but more than adequate. Yulliy the receptionist was wonderful. She's like your favourite Aunt, nothing is too much for this lady. Very kind,warm hearted and helpful. She offers what most hotels cannot ,hospitality. I'd return here again. Great location and excellent budget hotel.

To be piquey, I'd only suggest present tea and coffee facility in room. Have two toilet rolls, not one. There isn't much storage space but this is a transient hotel and it's not a deal clincher.

The design was awesome... Retro hotel that was used by troops on R&R during the Vietnam war. Fully refurbished and they have done a very good job too... The pool area is really nice, one of the deepest pools I have ever swam in... Was very close to the train and some absolutely fantastic shopping... Some great bars and restaurants nearby.

There wasn't an open restaurant... So no breakfast or room service. Not a deal breaker as you are right in the guts of the Nana district, which is full of great food choices. The food court at the new terminal 21 shopping center (which is mind-blowing) was only a 10 min walk down Sukhumvit. The place isn't 420 friendly either, which would have been good to know, as it would have definitely made me choose another place to stay had I known... Not a big deal as you can buy & consume your weed from many of the dispensaries within walking distance from the hotel... No bar at the pool either... Would have been fantastic to drink an ice cold Singha as you enjoy the pool.

The pool and the decor in lobby were very nice.

I was charged @$15 for a lost magnetic key to the room. As far as I am concerned, this was completely inappropriate and bordering on a scam. It took the hotel staff all of 10 seconds to set a new key. Another Thai hotel also attempted to charge me for a lost magnetic key that was found ultimately by the front desk on the check out counter so the charge did not occur but it made wonder about the legitimacy of this practice.

Good location and price Very clean.

Windows in room are not double glazed and you could hear traffic all night, also one guest with his wife and young child were constantly making a noise, the kid was constantly screaming or crying at all times or playing in the corridor, looking at them they looked like long term residents, rather than visitors. Apart from that everything was good

It was recently renovated in a classic mid century style and as it was built in 1965, the re-design reflects this era. There were many relics from the past in lobby including a vintage juke box, switchboard, tv, stereo console and miscellaneous furniture. The pool was very nice; clean, deep, and a good size.

I stayed a month and room was clean enough but house keeping could improve as frequently ran out of “necessities”. Hotel required a 500bt deposit at check in. On my first night I lost my magnetic card key and was charged $500bt and had to make another deposit. I don’t think it costs 500bt to make a replacement key! TV was useless, only cable with Thai language stations except for Al-Jazeera News in English. It’s not a smart tv. Fee for non registered guest visitor is 700bt Currently no dining facilities but it appears that may change in future.

It is like living in an Instagram picture, the hotel is just GORGEOUS!! Every nook and corner deserves a picture and one can just spend time looking at everything. The rooms are designed so well! everything was actually Insta-worthy and we just loved living there. It was near the hotspots of the city. The room service was great. Very clean and quiet place.

Extra charges for late check-out as our flight was late. No laundry services. No Food services, no buffet or a la carte at the hotel itself but vouchers for nearby restaurants. Very strict about the pool timings. As it is a very commercial place, so they aren't very flexible. The road is very congested and has a lot of traffic usually so keep a lot of time for travel around in cabs. The hotel is no smoking which we were told about after booking.

great pool and comfortable room with nice view of interior and pool nice mid century decor in hotel and many vintage objects and furniture from the 60’s

they charged me 500bt to replace a lost magnetic card key. highway robbery! collecting 500 bt deposit before check in pool needs sign indicating depth drop off; not for me as I can swim but someone else almost drowned when stepping off shallow end needs dining and/or cafe facility but may be coming shortly tv worthless. all Thai languages cable except for AlJazeera in English. no smart tv.

There is just so much good to say about this hotel, iconic hotel from 1965, when I entered My room, I felt i was walking in to our home as a Child, All the furniture were from that era, it was so authentic from the 1965...the rooms was very big, Nice bed, big tv and a good shower, the location could not be better, 5 min to Nana place, shopping mall MTR, ect...the staff in the reception was very freindly but always busy...Nice beautiful pool in the small garden... It was not just a hotel, it was a history down on memorilane from the 1960- 70... I loved it All, and it was very cheap to stay there....I Will be back... I higly recoment this Hotel...

70s theme interior, newly renovated. swimming pool is very cozy.

the hotel does not provide toothbrush, even though its written that they have. its not an issue as seven eleven is just few seconds away.

Looks better on photos , no facilities, pretty basic place. Only stayed a couple of nights , bed was uncomfortable so couldn’t of done any more.
