Ruamchitt Plaza Hotel

The location is excellent,not too crowded area and just along the main sukhumvit road, it's beside Sofitel hotel. It's 5 to 10 minutes walk to Ashok and Nana station. 10 minutes stroll to Terminal 21 Mall and BTS Nana and Ashok and MRT station. Perfect for those who don't want to spend money on taxis. The night spots like Nana bar and street, Soi Cowboy, Arab Street, Nana Plaza are just a mere 15 minutes walk. Other great tourist places in Bangkok LIKE chatuchak weekend market, china town, Siam Mall, Central Mall and MBK mall and others are also accessible thru the BTS from nana or Ashok stations, you just to research ahead and note which station to take.its super easy. The receptionist were super friendly and they cleaned my room daily.note I didn't opt for breakfast inclusion, as I didn't want to pay more. I would definitely book there again.may I suggest to invest more on interior decorating of the hall way and put more lightings and furnitures? , as I see potential in this hotel, just need a little beauty touch.nevertheless Overall I was happy with my stay. For families, yes it's also appropriate. They have a pool as well, too bad I got no time to use it.expect also to see free lancers in the streets when you take a stroll, but hey that's part of the fun of being in the city.

The room I took 1306 didn't have an inside lock.suggest they have it installed, as I prefer to have a lock at my door for safety,but it's a safe place to stay nevertheless.

Despite the room being relatively small, it was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower were excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the room also has a small fridge and safe which came in handy. The breakfast was pretty decent and the staff were also very friendly and helpful. The location is also very good. A few minutes walk to either Nana or Asoke station. Plenty of food options around and also close to Terminal 21 (a large shopping centre). The rooftop pool is excellent and has around 1 dozen sunbeds which was great. I would definitely stay here again.

No real dislikes although there was a leak in the shower screen so some water ran down towards the main door. I forgot to mention this to staff so hopefully they read this review.

I extend my stay in the same room direct with hotel 500b a night why I pay 700+B to booking.com to stay in the same room I can book of the street for 500b very disappointed in booking.com and there customer service afterwards. I’m thinking to complain to visa . leaves a bad taste using booking.com

very charming stuff ….located in the center of Sukumvith … brillant if you can stand a deep breath of real Bangkok ... the beautiful roof top pool invites you to relax while watching a breathtaking view over Sukumvith´s life and architecture ........

Spacious rooms. I had a room at the end of the hall with windows on two sides. Lots of natural light and a really nice sunset view. Bed was comfy. The location was excellent for accessing everything on Sukhumvit. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The price is right. The elevators are surprisingly quick.

The air con is too weak for the room. It can only handle the room if the drapes are closed and it runs all day. The hotel gives complimentary ear plugs, which is good because it feels like the sky train runs through the room. The windows in the shower wouldn't fully close. This increased the noise from Sukhumvit. A minor inconvenience is that they still use metal keys.

The Staff - super friendly and professional Fah, The manager. Super professional and very helpful and friendly. The elevated walkway and BTS SkyTrain is immediately outside the hotel, making shopping at great malls and easy and comfortable walk and access to anywhere in Bangkok simple with the BTS. I opted for the Deluxe Double room and it was very spacious. The wifi was great, as was the roof top swimming pool.

The restaurant on the premises food could have been a bit better… or maybe I just got unlucky. I’d love it if they had room service, even at a $2 to $3 charge. Not the hotels fault, but Watch out for Booking.com’s “One day before arrival cancelation policy” - it’s actually two calendar days, and often, the booking.com prices are quite a bit higher

Staff were friendly helpful and efficient, the room an facilities were clean and fresh. The rooftop area with swimming pool is great for relaxing, again very clean and pleasant. Optional breakfast was good and fairly priced. When I requested a late breakfast having overslept, I was still served courteously with no fuss. I like the various eco measures, such as refillable glass water bottles in room. Located on main road, easy walk to the train, and good convenient central location, maybe a little noisy, but no more than to be expected in such a city centre location. There was a security man at night, but this was discreet and reassuring, rather than intimidating. Staff were helpful with advice, photocopying etc. Overall a very pleasant few days here, at a very reasonable price. Love the pool, stay here and get in shape!

Nothing to dislike really. There is the noise and bustle to be expected at such a central location, but I did not find this at all disturbing or inconvenient.

£ for pound this is THE best hotel in Bangkok, no ifs and no buts ! The location is ideal for anyone wanting to join the 24-7 party that is the Big Mango. The staff are knowledgable, helpful and simply the friendliest bunch you could ask for. The facilities cover all needs… rooftop pool and patio, pool and billiards bar, restaurant and bar snacks and the Thermae night club.

The lady-boys hanging around infront of the hotel at night can be a bit intimidating.

I was confirmed by Booking.com for the early arrival confirmation as I was arriving early morning around 9.30 am but I was told by the Hotel that they did not have any info about it. I requested but they had no room vacant that time so I had to wait until 1 Pm to get the room ready which was definitely a big time Hassel yet rest of stay made me forget this
