Snooze

I loved the retro aesthetic of the room. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The staff were so so friendly and accommodating ( best hotel service from the staff that I have ever had ) I received a call before check in so they could introduce themselves and give us all the info that we would need before checking in ( I have never had this before either ). Our room was ready an hour and a half before it was meant to be. Good tea and coffee set up and all channels on tv such as Netflix were working fine. Felt very comfortable and safe in this hotel. As we were there for a birthday celebration we were able to decorate the room and they were fine with that. Such a lovely hotel for an amazing price!

The bathroom was quite small and there wasn't a lot of space on the sink for toothbrushes etc.. but we knew this before booking from reading the reviews so was expected. There was also no iron.

Stayed here for my partners birthday, we were staying in room 1. Firstly before even staying the staff were clear and answered any question so quickly which I really appreciated! When we arrived again the host was wonderful, he sorted us parking permits which made things much easier. Our room was beautiful, so quirky and has a really fun feel about it. Decorated lovely and some homely touches and a kettle which was lovely for the morning. Overall I really couldn’t have asked for more from a location or a host.

Complete 5 star stay, my only tiny gripe would be the door to the room. It was quite thin and as we had the room by the main door it meant every time someone came in or left, got deliveries we did hear them meaning being woken up through the night. It really wasn’t a problem and I’d still always recommend and would stay again if I visit in Brighton but a thicker door would be my only desire and if that’s the only thing then that’s blooming good going!!!

The room decor was lovely, very well thought out and it's clear that a lot of love goes into the upkeep of the hotel as it was spotlessly clean and tidy. The owner called me the day of the booking to confirm check-in time, provide self check-in details and was also there for check out. Very polite and let me know to call him if I needed anything. The location in Kempton is great, a 2 minute walk to the beach and shops/bars and only around 15 mins or so away from The Lanes (with a nice walk across the beach!). Considering it was 30 degrees outside it was also very cool!

Ther was a bit of noise in the evening (I could hear other people coming in and as the room was on the ground floor street level I could hear people chatting walking past) but it didn't last late into the night and is to be expected due to the location.

The room was really cool and had a fun retro vibe. The bathroom was also super cool, with a great shower. Good water pressure! Site manger was friendly and informative, and was around often enough we never had to hunt him down, but not in a way that invasive. The keyless entry was also a nice modern touch and appreciated how easy it was to come and go.

This has nothing to do with the the room but the seagulls and ocean birds and pigeons were very loud and very present. We cracked the windows a bit to get some airflow when we were sleeping and the din of birds is constant nearly all hours. We got used to it and truly this is my only complaint about the property, and I must note that when the windows were closed completely the bird sounds were not an issue.

The room was amazing with such a comfortable bed. Great size shower with lovely toiletries provided. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. There's a great pub within a few minutes walking distance that does amazing food. Gorgeous place for breakfast, which is able to be ordered directly to your room. We also found a stunning little dessert place up a side street. The hotel is just up the road from the beach and a short drive/bus/taxi from the centre of town. Highly recommended and will be staying again!

Went for a 2 night getaway during a week off. It was located perfectly where it was far enough away from the buzz, resulting in a quiet location but close enough to get anywhere you wanted within minutes. The decor was so unique it had a lasting impression towards the stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the whole place was impeccably clean. The cafe recommended has really nice food and everything is cooked to order from fresh. Busses are just a 2 minute walk away, and we didn't wait anymore than 3 minutes. We are planning on going again in the summer.

We only have one suggestion that there could be a vintage beer fridge in the room.

what’s not to like! me and my friends stayed in the penthouse rooms 71 + 72. they were truly divine! absolutely loved our stay and the whole hotel decor and smell and atmosphere is perfect. the digital radio with ‘sixties’ on was superb. the detail in the design is second to none. seriously impressive and the manager(s?) are so friendly and lovely.

i didn’t not like anything. I guess some feedback is always useful though about what would make it even better for our group we all agreed a mini fridge would have topped the room off. also, some additional mood lighting near the chairs in room 71 would be a nice touch as the spotlights in the ceiling are a little intrusive. As you are in the eaves of the property, it’s a little dark in the corners of the rooms so it would make it look even more psychedelic and cozy. and finally, the automated pure bright white ceiling light in the hallway outside the two penthouse suites is not in keeping with the gorgeous ambience of the other lights. we thought it could be a fire exit type light though which is standard and cannot be changed

The Snooze hotel is a very well decorated hotel with a special individual decoration for each room. The location is good, in a walking distance from the center and the neighborhood is good.

When ordering a room in Snooze, the idea is that you choose the specific room you want to stay in. However, we did not receive the room we ordered which was also the biggest room they had. The room we got was nice, but smaller and the shower was hardly enough for one person. They said that when you order via Booking you can't choose a specific room, but that was not true.

We loved the quirkiness of the property and all the different rooms we caught a glimpse of. Super friendly owners and facilities were everything we needed. Location was ideal for us, lovely shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Very short stroll to the sea front and only 10 mins to centre of Town.

We brought a dvd with us to watch as the facilities said there was one in the room but there wasn't. No big deal though. The TV did want to seem to got through all the set up frequently and Netflix wouldn't load after day 1. All very minor issues though.

Great, friendly communication - the hosts let me know they wouldn't be around when we arrived, but gave me comprehensive instructions of how to access our room and parking arrangements. The room was fabulous! Quirky, well-furnished and clean, with an extremely comfortable bed and the cleanest bathroom I think I've ever come across in a B&B.

No on-site breakfast (although one could be delivered from a local café for an extra charge, or you could visit the café and get a 10% discount), but we knew this before we booked so it wasn't an issue. Parking was available for an additional £10 (the whole area was permit-only parking). Again, nothing the hosts could do about that - they offered a solution, which was fine.
