Bude Hotel - An Mor

Staff was very helpful and friendly, nothing to much trouble. Breakfast was great. Bed was comfortable, we was in room 307,great sea view. Location was the best in middle of it all. parking on site good, also had WiFi, would Definitely recommend hotel, for people who's able body. Used Bar really Excellent setting, overlooking bay Beautiful.

Lift broke on our first day. We was on floor 3.I was on crutches so very difficult to do stairs. No mention of getting Lift fixed, still not working as we left Saturday. So if you got mobility problems, might want to think about if booking as it could be difficult as Lift only small and not the best,takes 2 small persons or 1 large.

Free parking right outside. Friendly, polite staff...all helpful and available. Room great...lovely size, quality white bedding, pillows, towels. Comfy bed. Ceiling fan. Good views. Toiletries, bottled water and tea/coffee facilities and machine. Breakfast was excellent! Continental and hot options...buffet...get what you want. Constantly replenished and staff on hand. Relaxing seating. Outside bar is part of the hotel...fabulous with excellent views over the sea! This hotel is perfectly situated in Bude centre and the beaches of Su.mmerleaze and Crooklets...both easy short walk. Would highly recommend.

Only thing was lift out of order...not an issue for us...maybe for some.

Great location, nicely decorated rooms and communal areas, everywhere was really fresh and clean. Friendly staff, good produce used for breakfast.

Strange rules for breakfast which seemed unnecessary. You could have both continental and hot breakfast but had to get them both at the same time which meant your cooked breakfast went cold while you were eating your continental and only one table group were allowed up at one time. Carrying everything back was a balancing act! You could also only go up once. The buffet and set up was able to take more people than they allowed. You also had to book which time you came down for breakfast which isn't uncommon but then why the need for the one table at a time rule? The staff seemed a little embarrassed explaining this unnecessary rule also.

Lift needs repair, I have difficulty with taking suitcase up stairs, however I was offered help so could not complain. Might be an idea to make second knife available at breakfast. Beach club menu a little limited

Well maintained, easy parking right outside, modern with excellent location walking distance from everything. Didn't touch the car all trip. Tasty and varied breakfast, not wasteful. Friendly young staff, handy elevator. Mini fridge and delightful welcome tray, comfy bed, compact but all we needed room, big shower in bathroom.

Radiator was on full on arrival so switched off and opened windows but still suffered the first night, considering even asking to switch to a lower floor room despite ceiling fan. But figured out an air flow from bathroom window to bedroom window and got over it. Had to get up and close windows at 730am as groups of crazy enthusiastic children arrive at the adventure playground opposite which was impressive and fun but a little early. Could do with a coat hook but I'm being picky.

Lovely stay at this hotel . Room Was modern; great coffee machine , large tv fridge . The toilet was dirty, sand / dirt in the bath and the whole room was dusty especially the Dan above the bed. We were on a mini moon so didn’t let this stress us out, but could Really do with a good dust and clean toilet. The view from the room was lovely and spacious . Breakfast cooked buffet it was pleasant enough. You can buy drinks and bring takeaways in but would be sooo good to have some Kind of restaurant on site. Unfortunately you can pay cash which was a bit annoying as we prefer to use cash - this would put us off re booking if I’m honest. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Dusty room Card only

We had a slight issue on the first mornings breakfast as the self service buffet did not have all the items available on the counter when we arrived at the time booked. When asked we were told the various items not available were on their way. We had some of what was available but at least two of the items did not arrive until we had finished our breakfast a half an hour later. The following days was better and by the third day there seem to be an abundance of food. The room was good, the bathroom was large but had no hooks or shelving to put toiletries apart from where the window was away from the shower. There were also no tea bags when we arrived but that was reminded by asking at reception.

We stayed here 2 weeks ago and decided to come back for continuing the hike on the South West Coast Path. It was a good location for us and the price was cheaper than other accommodation in Bude. The room was clean and breakfast was very good. A nice touch was the complimentary box of shortbread. We recommend An Mor for a short stay in Bude.

The room and bathroom were small (but it was cheaper than our previous stay). The bed and pillows also weren't as comfortable as last time, so we didn't sleep very well. Please try and reduce single use plastic, e.g. use large refillable bottles for toiletries instead of miniature bottles.

We enjoyed our stay at the An Mor Hotel. It's centrally located, near the South West Coast Path, beach and centre of town. The room offered everything we needed; the furniture seemed fairly new, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The place felt like an independent Premier Inn (in a good way). The breakfast was also very good, with hot options and nice croissants, served buffet style. They also have car parking, and it was handy that we could leave our car there the next day while we continued our hike on the SW Coast Parth. Just wanted to note that the restaurant in the hotel is not open but there are plenty of options in town.

Please try to reduce the use of single use plastic, e.g. instead of offering tiny toiletry bottles use larger bottles that can be refilled.

Great location looking over the cliff to the sea. Short walk to the beach. Really close to shops and a supermarket so convenient to pick up things we forgot! Breakfast included was a nice bonus. It was very hot the weekend we stayed but there was a ceiling fan above the bed which helped us stay cool at night. We booked a superior room which was nice and spacious which we needed to get ready in for a wedding. This includes the bathroom which had plenty of space and a big shower.

The bed was a bit lumpy so I didn’t find it very comfortable.
