Rachel was a fantastic host, friendly and knowledgeable of the area so we saw plenty that we wouldn’t have done otherwise. The farm was peaceful & quiet but really close to Bude & lots of other places like Port Isaac, Padstow etc. The breakfast was lovely every day, loads of choice, big portions, eggs from the farm & homemade bread, jam, pancakes etc with homemade cookies & banana bread left in our room, Rachel make a huge effort for her guests which was much appreciated. The room was lovely & clean, comfortable with a nice big shower & plenty of hot water. A lovely stay.

There was absolutely nothing not to like.

The farm is really idyllic and remote, very calm, very relaxed. My room was big and comfortable, I had tee, coffee and cookies in my room, there was the possibility to store your own food in a fridge. The landlord is so nice and she helped me a lot, I was on a hiking trip without a car and she advised me a beautiful footpath along a canal directly to Bude, which was great. And the breakfast was a highlight, there are at least 6 different options, including a vegetarian and a vegan one to choose from and it was home cooked and huge and very delicious!

Great location, not far from the town center. The facilities were excellent, the owner thought about everything you need as a guest. We also got home made biscuits, tea and milk as a welcome, which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was 10/10, tasty and freshly cooked. The room was spacious, clean and cozy. The farm itself was very nice and the area was well maintained. It is easy to see that the owners really take care of the guest house to make us, guests, feel welcome 😀. I will happily come back in my next visit to Cornwall and would recommend it to my friends 👍.

Super clean and comfortable beds! Excellent breakfast options for a veggie/vegan diet plus. Lots of cupboard space to store things out of the way in the room! Fridge and micro in the downstairs lounge was really handy! Excellent choice of herbal teas and coffee in the room. Netflix ready to watch on the TV kept the kids out of trouble and that was handy for us! A lot of exceptional thought gone into this BnB by Rachel it felt being at home away from home. Exceptional stay and would definitely recommend to others. Rachel personally looks after all the guests with her heart and cooks up really nice breakfast most if it all homemade as well! The cookies in the room were homemade and really tasty too! It's also a great location as it's not too far from Bude and easy to get to other places little bit further away, the A39 is easy reach from the BnB.

We had the Full English breakfast every morning, and it was superb. Home-made bread and hash browns, tasty bacon and a good full plate. The location is lovely, in a little valley, with lovely views out of the window. It is a very old farmhouse which has been modernised, so expect quirky and quaint, uneven floors, and steep stairs to the first floor. Rachel, the owner, was the perfect hostess, providing an ironing board and iron because she knew we were going to a funeral, plates because she knew we had some left-over pizza to heat up, and even took some geranium cuttings for my husband who had asked for some. Home-made biscuits in the room too, together with a good selection of teabags and coffee. She deserves to succeed because she works so hard to make your stay perfect.

We had a little difficulty finding the entrance to the property in Sharlands Road, maybe another sign further up and down the road might help to warn you that the entrance is, say, 100 yards on the right.

The welcome from Rachel was so friendly and it was a pleasure to have conversations with her. Tge farm has a comfortable rustic charm and little touches like homemade cookies in the room make it different. The full english breakfast Rachel presented was one of the best I have eaten . All quality ingredients including her homemade hash browns and delicious homemade bread ... yummy

I would have liked to have stayed longer!

The room was lovely and cottage’y with a lovely view. The breakfasts were phenomenal and made to order from a great selection. The quality of food was exceptional, sourced locally and cooked perfectly by our host Rachell. Because we had to leave for home on our last day at 6am Rachell insured we were more than adequately provided for.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like. It’s Highly recommended. We’ve past the contact details to friends and we would love to stay there again.

The host lady was amazing! Room spotless and all there what we could potentially need. Plus, fresh milk for our teas and coffees. Breakfast was super tasty. Atmosphere rather unique and worth 100% to be back in such peasant and peaceful place. My son loved the whole experience of staying at the farm. He asked to return to feed animals wirh the lovely host lady again !!

Great little place, a warm welcome wholehearted breakfast, great rooms and very clean the bread was home made along with the hash browns, croissants and jam, real milk in the rooms for tea and coffe will be coming back here that's for sure

As its a old building the bed was not level so levelling up the bed a bit but it was not a issue

Rachel is a great host, and the location was excellent. A lovely breakfast. It is a short walk to Marhamchurch (15 minutes) where there is a lovely pub. From Marhamchurch, you can drop down to the canal and walk the towpath all the way to Bude (60 minute walk); very safe and flat.

Some of the furnishings could be updated.
