The property is well positioned for us visiting family. The rooms are large, on this occasion I upgraded to a room with a bath. The room was huge, the only disappointing area was we were unable to access the balcony. This could have really enhanced our stay if this was available to use with a bistro set

The stair ways were very dirty, in respect of needing a good vaccine. We did see a gentleman vacuuming Monday late morning however this would have looked more professional had these been vacuumed more regularly. Just gave the sense of, if you don’t care about first impressions what else don’t you care about!

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Emma at the reception helped us when we needed more towels and brought them to our room.

We were expecting a different room than what we got. As it was for our anniversary stay we paid more to get a bigger room for the 2 of us. The room we had wasn’t equal to the photos online. I emailed to say it was for a special occasion of which the hotel confirmed they knew it was our anniversary. We’ve stayed here before with our children and had a better room with them. So slightly disappointed that this time round the room wasn’t the same. We really missed having natural light in the room as the windows were very small. Felt very much like staying in a basement. In comparison to our last stay we wouldn’t stay again if in this room.

They have recently added a new section to the accomodations, we have been staying here for years as it's comfy, clean, convenient, and affordable. We stayed in one of the new rooms and it was lovely. It was a family accessable room and was huge with a lovely big wet room, and plenty of tea and coffee, biscuits ect... There are lifts available via an alternative door a little along from reception with key entry only from the outside street. No internal access sadly but it's not a long walk. We are both disabled with very limited mobility and coped fine. Also worth noting we are both larger heavy people and the bed and room chairs are very sturdy and will hold very heavy weights (28st each approx), so no need to worry if you like me do. Also worth noting in the restaurant down stairs the tables in the booths can be moved a little to give you more room, so don't be afraid to sit in them, you won't be embarrassed by trying and failing to fit..Thank you to Weather spoons for being so exclusive and giving us the confidence to just enjoy our stay. Also the lady on reception night shift was lovely and we had a really nice chat as we were resting there, love this place and will be going back.

In the ceiling of the room there were two skylights, one is lovely with an electric shade and is lovely for some daylight when you open it. The other however is like a smallish round dome shape randomly placed between the bottom of the bed and the dressing table. I got up to use the toilet at about 6am and the light that shone through it from dawn onwards was so bright in the room, I couldn't get back to sleep. I wish they would find a way to cover it up as this was something that did irritate me and put a tiny dampner on an otherwise wonderful room. Not enough to put me off staying again however.

Room was spotless, really comfy bed, nicely decorated room, free bottles of water. Excellent all round.

Nobody on check-in desk when we got there and had to wait for 5 minutes but then I noticed there was a buzzer but it wasn't on top of the counter, it was below the counter at the front at belly height. They should put the buzzer on top of the counter so it's easily noticed or put a sign on the counter to show where it is. When we pressed the buzzer/intercom somebody came straight away to check us in and he was very helpful and friendly.

I was very impressed with the Standard of the Hotel , the receptionist was friendly and explained the facilities in details. The room was bigger than a normal twin room with two lovely comfortable single beds, the bathroom had a massive with a walk in shower - one I would normally except to find in a 4/5 star hotel . The room spotlessly clean with tea and coffee making facilities - with a couple of nice biscuit and some bottled water . All in All I was very impress Breakfast was available in bar with the usual Wetherspoon breakfast select including a nice Scottish breakfast Would definitely stay again

Nothing really bar from a slight damp smell in the hallway by the stair,

Large, modern, stylish, comfortable bedroom with everything you need including lots of sockets & a decent hairdryer. Comfortable bed, powerful shower, fluffy towels. Clean on arrival, quiet. Good cheap Weatherspoons breakfast downstairs.

No window!! The air conditioning worked well so temperature wise it wasn't needed, just odd not being able to see out to see what the weather was like! We didn't like the area but it was a good location for the festival we were attending.

Have stayed here lots of times for work over the last year or two.. and will gladly return. The rooms themselves are very modern, with nice decor, great facilities, great beds and great showers (especially the new rooms in the hotel!) Good location being in Corby town centre, and very convenient having the Wetherspoons pub downstairs. Staff are very friendly and helpful too.

ONLY issue I’ve ever had is noise at night time, being town centre located, so that’s to be expected..

Everything was excellent, it was clean and the staff were lovely. Although it’s right above a busy pub I didn’t hear any noise from them at all.

We stayed for a family wedding. We arrived for check in at 2pm but unfortunately the room wasn’t ready however we had already been given the room key. My child has additional needs so standing in the hall way for 20 mins was a bit difficult. Luckily we had some family staying in another room so we were able to kill a bit of time there. We just made it in time for the ceremony.

The room was lovely and clean and I would recommend that room. He cleaning staff were wonderful and very helpful. So we’re the bar staff. The hotel was very handy for the shops in Corby.

We decided to stay an extra night because we were attending a funeral for a beloved family member. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with one of the rooms. I had booked a room for my daughter at £56 but the receptionist was charging my daughter £152 instead £112 for the two night stay. This was not resolved amicably

Iv stayed here a few times now. It's in a perfect spot, right in the town center. Rooms are always clean and comfortable AND quiet too. Will be staying again the next time my friend is visiting from Scotland........oh and I have to say make sure to head into the saxon bar/restaurant, it's a wetherspoons so you get all the daily deals but the breakfasts with free tea/coffee refills are amazing after a few too many wines the night before. This is not a complaint as such, just the tv in the family room is very small compared to other rooms iv stayed in.
