Hampton by Hilton Corby

Lovely staff and clean rooms. Lots of food at breakfast, which was all very tasty. We come up for a gypsy and traveller Christian convention and they were one of the only hotels in the area to not put their prices up to over £1000 a night on booking.com , or cancel any booking with a name associated to gypsy's or travellers. We know a few people also staying in the hotel who said they would also happily return. Thank you to the hotel for not judging us on our heritage, and also for being one of very few hotels in the areas accepting of us

There was nothing to dislike. We would happily stay again.

Warm and welcoming staff. Immaculately clean room. Well-ventilated space, providing a refreshing atmosphere. Spacious and comfortable bed. Clean and well-maintained bathroom and toilet, with everything in good working order. Peaceful location, offering a quiet and relaxing environment. Free parking right in front of the hotel. Convenient amenities nearby, including two pubs, a supermarket, and a pizza place. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options.

Minor issue with the heating system, but it did not significantly impact the overall experience.

Breakfast - great choice and tasty, 10/10 Room pluses - comfortable, large TV, lots of plug-in points, clean and well maintained Bathrom - enough soap, shampoo and body lotion, well stocked. large shower area EV charging on site - a definite 10/10 as I was able to charge my EV overnight and the contactless payment for the chargepoints is a definite win-win, no need for fiddly charge cards or apps or memberships, can't praise this service highly enough.

Room minuses - Toilet door could not lock properly as door slid open, a big no-no when using the bathroom, the sink plug mechanism was fiddly to open so had to call reception to do it for us, design means you can hurt your fingers if you push it too hard.

Good location, really lovely staff- welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were lovely and the beds- so comfortable! The complimentary breakfast was more than I expected it to be- there was so much variety- they had hot breakfast items, continental, and hot waffles and Nutella for the kids.

The duvet for the sofa bed was missing it’s cover- I had to make the bed up for the sofa bed but for family members staying in another room, their sofa beds were already made up. When I called housekeeping they bought it within 5 minutes.

I loved the location, the parling and the facilities. Everything was working very well, the check-in was very prompt. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Access to eatery was the highlight as the kids and I did not have to travel to get good food. The location to the swimming pool was excellent as well (7 minutes drive).

The breakfast I found very poor. My kids were not happy at all and considering breakfast is an important meal it did dampen our spirits as we all looked forward to it. The egg and mushrooms did not look appealing. It took time for finished items to be replaced, there was no porridge and the butter was in blocks. too hard and not easy to spread. The fruits were not fresh and the drinks tasted like it was diluted with water,

Lovely modern hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was brilliant as well, easy to get to and from but there are also plenty of food places on the doorstep. I liked the fact that tea bags, sugar, milk, coffee etc. was free and available from the reception counter 24/7. As someone who visited the hotel to work - it was nice to have a constant supply of tea where I didn’t have to keep pestering staff for refreshments. Wish I could have stayed for longer!

Would have preferred a fried egg at breakfast rather than scrambled but that’s just my preference.

Staff helpful, bed/pillows great, nice breakfast, air con good, cheaper than nearby holiday inn!

They don't allow dogs :(

This is a very comfortable hotel on an old industrial estate very near Corby. There is free parking. The room was spacious and reasonably priced, with excellent bathroom facilities, and a very good shower. Wifi was very good too. Breakfast was included and had a very impressive selection, although it did seem to be short staffed, and the coffee machine was broken (the staff were doing their best to fix it, but didn't manage). Overall, an excellent place to stay if you have a car and visiting or passing through Corby.

To be honest, there wasn't really much that could be improved upon. While they seemed short staffed at breakfast, this may have been due to time being taken to attempt to repair the coffee machine. Had that been working, then everything would have been incredibly smooth.

The staff were absolutely delightful and so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and I have to mention Michaela, the chef who was so personable and her food was delicious. Also Natasha who went out of her way to assist us! Free disabled parking right outside was a bonus.

Our accessible room was on the ground floor with the nicest wet room I have ever used in a hotel.The bed was very comfy too.

I've now stayed several times at this hotel. Situated just outside Corby on an industrial estate, the rooms are large, comfortable, and equipped with large modern shower rooms. The breakfast is excellent and atvother times there is some limited food available. But there is also a large Wetherspoons just next door, which offers a wide selection of evening meals at a reasonable price. The hotel is very good value, especially if booked reasonably early. I'll be back.
