Holiday Inn Corby Kettering A43, an IHG Hotel

It was a lovely clean and quiet space which was all we wanted after a fun filled family wedding weekend! Showers were clean, only thing I would suggest is that the extractor fan in bathrooms were not working in our room. It was great that I was able to have a gluten free breakfast! We had a late checkout booked in order to take advantage of the beauty salon & swimming pool unfortunately due to staff sickness it was shut on Sunday. That was a shame….. But all in all I thoroughly recommend this hotel above others that my extended family used and were not so impressed with. Short drive to Broughton House where we were attending a Big Fat Indian Wedding🎉🎉

To be honest a small gripe that the shower extractor was not working but no big issue! Staff could be more diligent at the coffee / tea points and ensure to replenish and clean that area. Had to seek out a member of staff to get more tea bags. One visible team member should be at welcome desk or on the dining/ breakfast area, no one there during our breakfast.

I used this stay as a stop on the way to a car event. The room was lovely and spacious, large tv and king size bed. Handy usb charging ports by the bed. The Bathroom was a decent size and the shower was lovely and hot. Nice smelling hand/bodywash soap! Breakfast had plenty to offer both cooked and continental, Really nice coffee from the machine and a nice selection of juices.

My room was situated near the outdoor seating area where there were 2 weddings taking place. The window seemed like it wasn't fully closed, so I could hear quite a bit (luckily I had ear plugs). The carpet had a fair few stains. The TV had apps but it wasn't connected to the internet so was unusable apart from the general digital channels. Breakfast menu said there were vegetarian options on the cooked buffet but I couldn't see any. But over-all these are just small details.

Breakfast is great!! Staff are awesome. They are Honest…. they make mistake and charge me which it should not be but they honest and refund and offer me a free drink! Mistake can happened so no worries. So the communication at reception is great, no barrier and I feel great. Even my daughter said those women are lovely…! And she was upset when we have to go home! I’ll be back if we get invited for Corby in the future! Thank you everyone and thanks for making our stays great, enjoyable and relaxing.

I could not go in pool! Haha BUT it not your fault. But what could I say for any dislike… Nothing I can think of! (Maybe need get play or safe area for kids to play around)

Our welcome on arrival and check in was excellent. The lady on the front desk was absolutely lovely - friendly, welcoming, smiley, chatty and yet very professional. Its exactly the way a hotel stay should begin and sadly it's a bit of a rarity these days, so I felt the need to mention it. Sadly, do not remember her name. But thank you! Our room was big and spacious, bed was very comfortable and bathroom a good size and spotless. Shower fab.

Room decor was a bit tired looking and in need of some cosmetic TLC. (Redecorating and new carpets needed).

I love that this property was so clean and inviting. they had everything we needed and more. the staff were so kind and very relatable to us. bar staff were top notch we were always checked on to make sure we didn’t need anything else. the beds were so comfortable the room was a great size for two of us. loved the little note from the cleaner (Sandra) telling us to enjoy our stay. there were instructions where to leave the towels if they have been used and need washing. beds were beautifully made room and corridor smelt so good. plenty of storage, the showers pressure was great and it didn’t take ages to heat up. we had a room at the front of the hotel and even though we were next to a main road it was so quite and relaxing.

there could of been more milk and sugar available in the room. but this wasn’t so much of a problem as we could go to reception and they had it there. also maybe some extra towels in the wardrobe. we went swimming and used the towels in the room and we didn’t have spear ones to actually have a shower with. but again you can get them from reception. maybe having an online booking system for pampered and polished would be great. as we went to have treatments but we couldn’t get through on the phone to book through.

The rooms are REALLY spacious, the beds are huge and comfy, and the staff are friendly too. This was our second stay (we come to visit friends nearby) and we’d come back again. The bonus on this visit was discovering the pancake machine that’s part of the buffet breakfast, really perfect pancakes at the press of a button!

Nothing. If I really had to choose something it would be the lack of a hook for the hanging up of a towel, but this was a really minor thing as the facilities in general are great. Good shower products, good tv, air con, iron etc

The room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and the toiletries are lovely. Dinner menu had a great choice and the food was tasty and hot, the staff could not have been more friendly. Breakfast menu has a great array of foods and choices both hot and cold. On this occasion I didn't use the gym but will certainly use it when I stay here again in the future.

It would have been nice to have some bottled water in the room. Other than this, I really don't have anything that could have been improved upon.

Lovely room. Great shower. Friendly staff. Special mention to Eileen who works in the dining room(waitress) Great choice of food and drink in the morning for breakfast. Love the pancake machine.

Booked half board so had an evening meal.(£25 in value). We decided on a starter and main. Starter was OK but main was a disappointment. We ordered a burger with bacon, cheese and onion rings in. Seasoned fries and coleslaw. The burger was a cheap one and was so overcooked it was like rubber. We did mention this and were offered the opportunity to re order. The waitress could not have been nicer or more apologetic. We were also given a complimentary drink. In the morning the hot buffet would have benefitted from covers on the food as the lamps dried out the food below.

As soon as I arrived I was greeted very kindly by the reception staff who explained everything extremely well. The room we had was very spacious and clean, bigger than I expected which was welcomed by my 2 children. Leisure facilities were really good and we enjoyed a nice swim on both nights we stayed. Best of all the bar staff on our second night(Richard & Rebecca) helped me with some light entertainment for my children and even took notice of what my daughter was writing! They picked up on her interest in Marvel and gave the kids a complimentary drink on them as they were fans too. I found this not only caring but also attentive to someone they had never met which made her extremely happy as was I. The should certainly be commended for such wonderful customer service.

Having stayed at the hotel I knew what to expect and enjoyed my stay. I would only recommend that the room I stayed in have a larger TV and more channels as we had limited viewing when in our room which can be challenging when trying to arrange everything and 2 young children wish to chill with soem TV.

There was great aircon in the rooms (which I mention because I stayed during the heatwave). The staff were extremely helpful. It was great to have use of the swimming pool as well as the gym and I the spa treatments were excellent.

Some of the hotel is a bit dated and the lift had carpet affixed to the wall / surfaces that was hanging off. So just a bit of attention to the repairs needed is my only observation on where to make any improvements. I did however notice there was a handy man patrolling and doing jobs so perhaps this was already on his list. Its a small point and I’m only sharing this since the question has been asked and to give balanced feedback.
