Every thing. Staff from arrival to departure were attentive but not pushey. Food was excellent. It is a cosy pub, but the layout is well designed to provide pleasant dining areas. The menu was well thought out and food was delivered promptly, and well presented. A good range of beers, ciders and wines ,also sort drinks are available. The property has been recently redecorated and quality furniture and fittings provided. The bedroom is tastefully decorated ,lovely ensuite bathroom and good welcome coffee\tea provisions tray. Live music and barbeque on Saturday nights. ed tastefully and the bedroom had everything

Very friendly staff, quiet location, room was ideal for a couple of nights although it was very hot, there was a stand up fan in the room which we had to run the whole time we were there. Thank you for being prepared. It was good to be able to sit outside and enjoy a dring.

We had an evening meal on our first night, it was lovely but service a little slow. We had breakfast on both days, again service was slow. For the first one the staff kept us going by giving us more coffee but on the our final day where we had to be out of our room by 10 (Sunday Morning), we only ordered poached egg on toast and one sausage and egg sandwich, and it took over an hour, people who came in after us were served first and we were not given more coffee! I felt sorry for the waiting on staff as it wasn't there fault but to be sat waiting for breakfast for over an hour didn't end our two day break away very well. That said, we won't let that prevent us ever visiting again, I'm pretty sure that was possibly a blip in the kitchen!

Super dog friendly, 13th century pub in a quiet village location, some lovely views of the Welland Valley, small car park. Very clean throughout, our room was very spacious and comfortable, with the usual amenities. It was up a flight of narrow stairs from the bar area, Fresh towels daily. Super comfy bed.Despite some obvious staffing shortages, all the staff we encountered were happy, friendly and accommodating, they made a real fuss of our dog.

Different staff on both nights with different guidelines, several items on the menu were not available but what they did have was all very good. Nothing would put us off booking again though.

The room was very spacious and comfortable (we booked the Deluxe King Room). Nice to have a couple of comfortable chairs to sit in if you wanted to watch tv, rather than having to sit on the bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Highlight has to be the quality of the food. We ate there both evenings, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed each meal. Due to the weather (snow) the event we'd gone to the area for was cancelled, so we'll be returning later in the year. We'll definitely look to stay at the Royal George again, and we're looking forward to the opportunity to try some of the other meals on the menu!

There was very little not to like. I guess if I had to find something, maybe the shower could have been a little larger, but that's about it really.

We were greeted upon entry by staff with a smile and politeness. We were shown up to our room, and they apologised that the room was cold and showed us how to work the heating if we needed it and to not hesitate to contact them should we require anything else. There was a mini electric heater in the room, and they left a few mini chocolate eggs, which was a nice little touch for easter. The room was spotless and had a very antique feeling to it, and they had a little book telling you about the history of the building, which was an interesting read. The bed was super comfy, and I had one of the best night sleeps I've had for a while. The breakfast was tasty and well presented, and the staff were so polite. During our stay, we went downstairs for a few drinks, and the atmosphere and locals were friendly and great to chat to. It's such a great little gem to stay if you're looking for an escape from reality.

The only downside of this amazing place is that there are no baths, and the shower is pretty small. If you're in the deluxe king room, the windows look out onto the drinking garden, and it can be noisy at night. If you don't close the curtains, they can see into the room.

Bedroom was very nice. Staff were all very welcoming and the food was good. Breakfast and service was also very good. Would recommend. I was escorted to the room on check in, and assisted with some of my luggage.

The stairs to the rooms are a little narrow and therefore a little difficult carrying luggage up and down. I have a disability which made this a little more problematic. However, this is not a complaint, merely an observation, as buildings of this age have a charm and quality that is not always suitable for everyone. It was not advertised as accessible, so I was prepared.

From a warm welcome, on arrival, to the sumptuous breakfasts, the owners and staff were all lovely. This is a generous inn. It was a warm weekend and we especially valued the fan in our well-equipped, spotlessly clean, bedroom. During the day we were at the nearby Greenbelt Festival - this was a lovely place to return to in the evening. Our room had an ample supply of tea, coffee, milk, infusions and biscuits.

The only downside was the noise of the restaurant patrons outside our window, which overlooked the outdoor eating area and its entrance . But we accept that this is often the case with smallish inns - it was not a problem when we closed the window - and we had the fan.

The location of the hotel was in a quaint and quiet village near Market Harborough. The village pub was really welcoming. Staff was there to welcome us and show us to our room. We had requested a twin room and this was delivered. The room was clean and tidy and recently decorated, although the bathroom was a little on the small side. Great choice of beers and wines from the bar. We booked a table for food in the evening and the food was superb and well priced. The Chef came out of the kitchen at the end of service to introduce himself and to make sure all customers were happy with their food, this was a nice touch. Will definitely return when I visit the area again.

The car park was a little tight and could be more appealing if spaces were marked and the bins were concealed. Bathroom a little on the small size in our twin room, but I'm sure other rooms are bigger.

Where to start? The Royal George was warm, comfortable and welcoming. The toilets are just so clean and beautifully decorated. In fact the whole place was simply gorgeous. We had dinner that evening and could not praise it more. Great food and so reasonably priced, not cheap rubbish not over expensive. The room we had (No.4) was perfectly appointed, the bathroom was very clean and the shower was heavenly. Something I cannot praise enough was the lack of noise. The staff could not do enough for you. Oh and the decked garden was a great place to chill out in. Breakfast was yummy. Overall my favourite place we have stayed in in the UK. We can't wait to come back.

The one and only thing I can mention is there was no hairdryer in the room. I am 99.99% sure had I of asked there would have been one for me to borrow however so really this is a mute point.
