it was a cute little room which was ok for 1 night

The view was a bit rubbish but agin we only sated one night so it didn’t bother me that much

It was close to town and the seafront. It felt like a ‘safe place’ as I was familiar with The Union. I have eaten and drank many many times as I live in Cowes.

Only a couple of small things...I couldn’t get the kettle to work in my room. I couldn’t figure out how to work the coffee machine on the landing next to the buffet. I opened a muffin and there was mould on it. It didn’t change my wonderful time and stay I found it rather funny as I am daft and very dippy!

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was well decorated and comfortable. Evening meal was delicious and fairly priced. Very close to the sea.

Buffet breakfast was left on the landing unattended, nobody around after the pub closed just a contact number.

lovely area and comfortable setup. Utilities were useable and satisfactory and bed was comfortable, albeit two singles merged. Continental breakfast was nothing special but had all the essentials and was enough to make you feel full until lunch time.

They “upgraded” my room however were not aware of my height (6’3) thus could not know how I’d bump me head everywhere I went in the upgraded suite (attic). This is no fault of the owners, I should’ve said something however beware if you are in room six and are above 5’7

Location was great along with Availability and Staff! Very good value for money! Breakfast was simple and easy access outside of rooms. Enjoyed the local area and pub! thank you

Could have been slightly more clean however bathroom was very clean and so was bedroom/ under the beds. It was more like the cupboards and worktop's/ around window frames. Overall very satisfied with our stay!

Location is great, and so is the pub. Rooms clean with good quality bedding. Public parking is just a few yards away, but gets busy. Beds comfy and room 5 has a really good aspect with 3 windows and even a sea view ( just about!)

We spent 2 nights in room 1, which is in need of maintenance and redecoration. Leaking towel rail and damp skirting boards leaving musty smell throughout. I was very disappointed the Union hadn’t secured a chef after lockdown, so is still providing breakfast trays to eat in your room. Difficult to put that down to Covid restrictions - no other hotels on our trip had that issue. Kettle provided, but only paper cups and no spoons - not great. Didn’t spoil our trip, but just a little more TLC would boost ratings.

Lovely period property, staff were friendly and helpful. Decent sized rooms that were clean and tidy. Fridge in the room was a nice touch.

No cooked breakfast but the continental was good with nice variety of fresh fruit, pastries and spreads.

I liked the cooked breakfast we used to get at the hotel... but the continental breakfast was very good! Not sure if they do the cooked breakfast 'in season'... it used to be downstairs then changed to next door at the cafe.. both were excellent.

A shelf/tray in the shower to put bits whilst washing... lol that's it! ;) but shower was excellent.. very powerful!

Bedroom style, little tea making station,window and nice windowsill where u can sit and relax. Bed was like a coud!! Downstairs fireplace and bar,will come back. Authentic and unique style of interrior and exterrior

No food in pub😒but there is pubs woth amazing food served within minute walk

Booked on Booking.com, payment taken, no fuss, arrived, given key and showed room and breakfast bar explained. All in all a nice simple process! Thank You.

Everything was fine, could do with a bit of a lick of paint but for a one night stay, pretty good I'd say and a perfect location. Nice en-suite with bath/shower.
