Linton Hotel Luton

The English breakfast was OK. Friendly staff, quiet in the dining room. Uber from the airport at 2am cost us about £10 (we took a few steps away from the airport to reduce the price of Uber). I think choosing this hotel was a good idea. Instead of going to London in the evening/night and looking for an expensive room with no amenities there, we found that we would stay in Luton and go to London in the morning. At a lower price than London we got much more and with breakfast included!

We were too short and too tired to notice anything incorrect. Thank you Wizzair for the four-hour delay in arrival.

Unbelievable value for money - a hidden gem right near Luton Airport. Brilliant cooked breakfast and restaurant on site with a quality chef for dinner. Free parking available and lots of amenities nearby. Only 5 minute drive from Luton airport. Room was spotlessly clean and bathroom/shower modern and in good order

This hotel is directly under the flight path for all arriving and departing flights for Luton airport - so if you are a light sleeper you might want to give this hotel a miss. Remember to bring ear plugs as the airport is operational 20 hours a day and the plane noise is consistent day and night. Other than this one issue - the hotel is excellent.

Friendly and efficient staff. Small room but clean and well equipped so ok for the price. WiFi quality was good. Easy access from Motorway. Free Parking. Quiet street, felt safe even walking at night, 25min walk from Luton Parkway Rail/Bus station. Small park access in front of hotel.

Nothing major for the price it was descent, but few things could be improved : Breakfast was ok but could be better with more options. Shower was too hot even on the colder settings after the first minute it was too hot and would not come down, shower shelf was broken and left loose on the tap, did not use the hairdryer as it was summer but it is a small travel one which did not look efficient. Could do with at least one spot in bathroom to put your stuff.

The Welcome on Reception was extremely excellent, the Lady was so helpful and kind, nothing was too much trouble. The Room I had booked was not ready and so she kindly gave me another at no extra Cost. Although it was not what I would normally Book and Pay for, ( I Booked a Budget Size small room to keep my costs down on this occasion ) it certainly was fine for One night as was breakfast. What I found at this Hotel was how excellent all the Staff where and so friendly, it really was as the sign says in the Dining Room, arrive as Guests leave as Friends, I felt very comfortable there, big Car Park in fact had a place for my car right outside my Room on the ground floor , which was great as I had left my Case in the Boot for my onward Travels. I would certainly not have any trouble booking to stay again if I was flying out of Luton. Thank you. Kind Regards Linda Stephens

The Bed. It was a Pull Down Bed from the Wall and although not too bad, not great either but for what I Paid it was fine, next time though I would Pay a bit more for a larger room and what I would call a proper bed.

Staff are good Hotel is clean Food was nice

My pillow was unusable. I drew this to the attention of the receptionist who said all the pillows are the same. It didn't even fit into the pillow case. I used a folded up towel as a pillow, which was uncomfortable but I could not use the pillow provided! Having a poor night's sleep sets the tone for the following day. I expect that a good night sleep is key to staying in any hotel. It is a shame that the pillow on its own let down this whole experience. Everything else was lovely.

The location of the hotel was ideal for us, we'd had a day at whipsnade zoo and then wanted to explore the local area. The lady on reception was very welcoming & polite. Breakfast was cooked fresh, good quality ingredients and set is up for the day. We ate in the restaurant during our stay and the food was exceptional. Staff very friendly. Overall great stay

We'd requested 2 doubles, although very clean they were very small and not much room to move around. The shower flooded the bathroom floor and small section of the bedroom.

I stayed over several weeks. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a bar and a restaurant which serves good food. I would throughly recommend it, particularly as I've found other hotels in the region such a disappointment. The staff are friendly and professional. This is how hotels should be run

Some might not like the fact that it is close to Luton airport, but I had no problems sleeping with the windows open. The only criticism I would have is the waterproof undersheets.

Good value for money - en suite bathroom, though small, but very comfy and nice, clean room, shampoo, soap and shower gel provided along with towels, cup and kettle in the room, and standart English breakfast with buffet and possibility to have granola, toasts, buns, sauces etc. Staff also nice and helpful. Really liked it!

When I was given the room, I entered someone's room that probably was occupied already - the mess on the bed and table. The receptionist was really helpful, in a moment got another room for me, already new and absolutely clean, and was very nice in general during all time of my stay. I couldn't make out how to turn on the light in the room, though😂

I had to stay at the hotel because of the cancelled flight. So I had to book not where I would have liked as everything was booked but where I could find the room. I liked the interior of the lounge-it was nicely decorated. There was a lift which was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very cosy and food was delicious.

Location-it was about 25min. walk to the Luton centre. Although the room was double it was very small. The planes were landing just above the head and it was noisy.

Excellent at the price paid. Well presented small, family run hotel in a quiet back street away from Luton town centre but close to the motorway, airport and most importantly for me the Airparks long stay parking for Luton Airport which is literally 5 minutes drive away. Clean, pleasant staff, good hot shower and comfortable bed. The on-site Italian restaurant looked good and seems to be well regarded by locals although I arrived late and tired so didn’t get chance to use it.

My (albeit) single room was quite cramped with barely enough room to walk around the bed. Close proximity to the airport and being in the direct flight path of landing aircraft means some noise both late and early but being as I booked it the basis of being close to the airport I can’t really complain too much. Due an to early start before main breakfast times, on my arrival the receptionist offered me a takeaway breakfast and wrote this down. The next morning upon asking her colleague for it I was told this wasn’t possible. He did make me a free takeaway coffee though.
