April 2022

stayed for 2 nights with my 6 and 7 year old on a little trip to London. It was very reasonably priced and convenient for getting into central. The room was clean and comfortable, surprisingly quiet given the main road and pub below. The muffins, cereal and yogurts were a huge hit with the children and really handy when getting out early, decent coffee in the room was a lovely touch for me. Nice big shower, room wasn’t huge but more than enough when we were only sleeping there. We didn’t see any staff other than on arrival but everything was cleaned and replenished while we were out so I’m not sure what else we’d need. There are lots of stairs but it was no problem even with tired little legs at the end of the day. Plus separate side entrance so no need to go through the pub other than on arrival.

Great location , staff member who met us on arrival was very helpful. Room overall was very nice , comfy bed , warm , nice towels , good shower - a couple of things could have made it fabulous- on entering the room ( room 5 ) there was a very musty smell I think this was because there is no opening window or ventilation . There was a fair amount of peeling paint in the room and in the en-suite again I presume this is again due to lack of ventilation . Easily solved remove peeling paint & repaint shame it wasn’t !! Carpet was clean but body stained on places again easily solved ! And finally the toilet brush should be binned it was disgusting. We would stay again but would be nice to see these issues resolved.

See above just those few issues

Amazing hotel. Room wonderful. The room size was perfect. We were in a double room with two twin beds. Comfortable beds, clean room, exceptional staff. The area was nice and quiet and we were minutes away by public transport to all the main sites. I'm so happy we stayed here.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast - cereal with milk in a fridge just down the corridor along with chocolate brownies to help yourself, was a bonus we did not expect . Tea and coffee in the room was also a nice touch. Small room but then that's what we booked and you'd struggle if you had a big suitcase, but the room was well organised proving more than adequate space for our one night stay. The shower was great and information on the room and how the air-conditioning/heating worked was clearly laid out. Everything was clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed. Also, there's a 10% discount on the menu in the pub. Would definitely stay here again!

These are only minor points - the toilet had a weak flush. Stairs are quite narrow and steep.

We loved the pub downstairs. The room was clean and cozy and stocked with a few goodies. It was nice having air conditioning. The staff was helpful and pleasant!

The bathroom smelled of mold a bit, and we had to turn off the air conditioning and open the window instead because the air coming into the room smelled of cigarette smoke a bit. No big deal since it was pleasant outside, but its something to consider!

I am a 56 year old female who was attending a concert at the Apollo alone and wanted somewhere to stay within a short walking distance from the theatre. This place was perfect, I picked the key up from the friendly bar staff and my room was upstairs. I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the door, the room and bathroom was a very decent size and everything was very modern and clean. Noise from pub downstairs stopped at 11pm and I could not hear any noise from outside either. I would definitely stay here again, I felt very safe in the room itself and the walk from the theatre took less than 10 minutes. I would bring my own coffee though, but that's just down to personal choice.

Short walk from the Hammersmith tube station. The staff were friendly and helpful. A simple but nice complimentary selection of breakfast items - yoghurt, cereal, muffins, cookies, fresh cold milk, coffee and tea - was available in the room or in the communal fridge, which is definitely a plus! As to the pub, we had dinner there once and the food was great. I have two criticisms, neither of which interfered with my overall positive impression: there are a number of stains on the carpet (a tiled floor would look tidier and be easier to clean as well); the room number 1 is quite noisy as it is located next to the staircase which leads to all the other rooms, so you can hear people coming in throughout the night.

The chocolate muffins, milk and yogurt in the fridge downstairs was very good. The cookie packs they left each day in our room were also delicious. I loved the water pressure of the shower and cleanliness of the bathroom. The towel warmers were a nice touch as well. The location is just about a 10 minute walk from across Hammersmith Bridge to the Hammersmith Tube station. The food at the pub downstairs was delicious and convenient when we didn’t want to walk to other places for dinner after a long day of exploring (and they had many vegetarian options for my best friend). We loved our 7 day stay at The Bridge! George and his staff were friendly and helpful! We’d definitely love to stay again!

Only super minor things: the fan in the bathroom didn’t seem to be working. The carpets could use some cleaning. The tea kettle could use some descaling. The stairs are narrow and steep, so just keep that in mind when planning your luggage. We were in Room 8 and loved the location (not noisy at all), but it was on the 3rd floor.

The Bridge Pub & Rooms met all our expectations. We booked the room as we had a wedding locally and we asked if we could book in early and check out late which they were happy to accommodate. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you could need. We were told on check in about the fridge in the hallway which stocked fresh milk and brownies which were all complimentary. The room also had tea, cereals and biscuits so i was more than happy. If people are worried about the fact it is a pub and noise then i needn't worry as we could not hear a thing from below or the roads. We would be more than happy to use the Bridge rooms again

Other than a touch up of paint to the room where previous guests have scuffed it there is nothing more that i think needs improving

Finding reasonably-priced places to stay in London is almost impossible. The Bridge is almost unique in being actually fantastic value. Room was spacious and decently equipped with everything you would expect. It's located in Barnes, close to Hammersmith bridge on the south bank, so it's a little walk to the nearest Tube (about 15 mins). The pub downstairs offers good food and you can access the rooms through a little side door

Scored an 8 simply because the breakfast offered is a little odd, although kind of charming! There is tea/coffee in the room as usual, but also bowl/cutlery etc and cereal. You then go and find milk/yoghurt/muffins from a fridge in the corridor. It's perfectly fine, and given the price for a London hotel, not something to complain about. But with a pub downstairs, I wonder that they don't offer something there instead. It's also a bit odd to check out when everything is locked up and no one there (I left about 9). There are also steep stairs to access the rooms. which might be a problem for some.
