Good selection of cereals, fresh coffee, teas, and fresh fruit for breakfast every day, the host also provided a cooked breakfast. Went out of their way to be helpful and provided yogurt when I asked if they had any. Very comfortable bed, large warm bathroom with bath and large shower. Plenty of hot water at any hour. The host was happy for us to bring takeaway food back and eat it in the breakfast room in the evening. Large parking area inside the property. This is my second visit, and I was not disappointed the second time round. Really handy for Belfast, Lisburn and further afield. A large M&S 5 minutes down the road and lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby in Lisburn and Hillsborough. Lovely park near Hillsborough castle to go for walks.

The location is in beautiful countryside, the bedroom was extremely comfortable and quiet - the chocolate mints on the bed were a lovely touch. The hostess Gillian was extremely nice, I was travelling by busand on foot so she kindly gave me a lift back into Hillsborough for the event I was attending the next morning.

As I said, I walked to Dunhill Cottage from Hillsborough and it is a good 20 minutes walk. My fault for not realising it was such a distance! However it is extremely convenient for those travelling by car.

The property was beautiful, very clean and in a lovely location, only 15 minutes walk from the beautiful village of Hillsborough. David and his wife were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was great, more than enough food, and cooked well. I don't drink tea or coffee, only boiling water and I was delighted when I was given a teapot of boiling water where the pot hadn't been used for tea before, you would be surprised at how many times I have been given a pot that is stained with tea inside and therefore the water looks dirty and tastes awful. Five stars to David for that!! The village of Hillsborough is beautiful with some lovely buildings. David's wife (sorry I have forgotten her name) recommended a place for us to eat in the village and we weren't disappointed. We were staying in Hillsborough as we were getting the ferry back to Scotland the following day, however I was so taken with the place that we will definitely be going back again as there is lots to see and do in Hillsborough. Thanks to everyone at Dunhill Cottage for making our short stay very enjoyable, we will be back!!

There was nothing we didn't like.

My friend and I stayed in this beautiful beautiful B&B the night before attending Comic Con Northern Ireland (less than 10 minute drive to the Eikon Cenre). We had a spacious bedroom with nice comfortable beds, filled with all the essentials (towels, hairdryer, kettle, tea, tv, shower, iron). Gillian made us a lovely breakfast and was so kind throughout our stay.

Amazing location not too far to venue we attended motor car show. Fantastic friendly home welcomed atmosphere by owner amazing cosy atmosphere. Rooms where beautiful & facilities amazing very clean top notch hygiene.

A lovely clean, quiet and peaceful B&B. Ample parking and a reasonable walk in to Royal Hillsborough for excellent places to eat. A shame I missed the Royal visit on the Wednesday! Breakfast was more than I could manage and lovely! Well located for driving to Belfast and other places to visit.

The location was perfect, being only a short walk to the centre of Hillsborough, We got a good night's sleep, as the place was nice and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and served exactly when we wanted it, as we had a fairly early deparature to pick up family from the airport.

No problems at all. Our host made us feel very much at home.

The home was beautiful and clean. The family room was spacious and best of all this accommodation was pet friendly. Our host, David was welcoming and able to provide take-away menus in town. We were able to utilise the dining area when we returned with our said food. Breakfast was a full-Irish and was cooked to perfection.

We would love to return.

Was nice and clean, decor was nice, room was very comfortable, and the owners made me feel very welcome. Nice big bathroom too. This B&B would put alot of dearer places to shame. Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay to anyone looking for a decent B&B.

The location was perfeçt for Royal Hillsborough village & castle, really lovely area good places to eat, our host was so helpful.

Wish we had longer time to really travel round , but next time we will, we were so impressed how beautiful the gardens & parks are kept, but most of all how friendly the people are.of m .
