I stayed for four nights in a very comfortable and clean room. Breakfasts and eavening meals were from a standard pub menu but were very good quality and the service was excellent. Each morning I was asked if I wanted the room to be refreshed or if there was anything I needed. I was suprised but delighted that all of the waiting staff new what an Affogato was even though it does not appear on the menu. There is plenty of free parking at the pub and the area is very quiet.

The emergency lighting in the room was far to bright, so I had to put some paper over it to dull it down, Apart from that everything else was perfect.

Our recent stay at The Queen's Arms was delightful. This charming countryside inn, located in the picturesque Lambourn Valley, exceeded our expectations in every way. We were truly impressed by the restaurant. The food was delicious, offering a delightful menu of traditional British dishes. The setting was lovely, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complemented the culinary experience. Dining here was an absolute pleasure, and the value for money was outstanding. Our accommodations were equally outstanding. The hotel room was comfortable, well-appointed with toiletreries, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The inclusion of a delicious breakfast with a lot of choices was making it excellent value for money.

We stayed in the Wishing Well king bedroom suite with spa bath. Could not fault the room spec or attention to detail. Very impressed with the layout of the spacious spa room with its own en-suite shower room and loo. The Spa bath is enormous and thoughtfully provided with lots of essential oils and lotions. Plenty of towels and little touches. There was lots and lots of hot water and above all it all worked and was very clean. The main room was cosy with very funky decor and the mini bar was stocked with lots of bar snacks and drinks the choice was brilliant , right up to Pol Roger champers if you fancied it! We ate at the pub in the evening which was lovely and again for breakfast. The selection for brekkie was amazing! Particularly the home made croissants! This night away was a birthday treat and a much needed weekend to refresh after a stressful year. Highly recommended.

The coffee selection in the room was disappointing. Considering the high spec choice of the mini bar and food available at the pub we found the cheap Nescafé sachets in the room disappointing. We love a decent coffee and thought that some coffee bags or a tassimo machine would have complemented the room and added to the vibe of the decadent feeling.

I was looking for somewhere in Hungerford to begin with but was glad we stayed here. Very nice welcome and once settled went to the bar and then sat in the sun drenched garden for an hour or so. Room was very comfortable with a nice king size size bed with lovely feather pillows which so many places now don't offer. Booked for dinner in the evening and wasn't disappointed. As a gastro pub I expected good food and that is exactly what we got. I don't usually order fish and chips in a pub but it was excellent. My partner also had a fish dish and this nicely presented. Unfortunately no room for dessert.Breakfast in the morning was also very good. Clearly local produce was being used.

Need to fix a couple of floor tiles in the bathroom.

Beautiful rooms, high quality, comfortable and gorgeous bathrooms! The staff were very attentive and welcoming

I thought the food could have been a little better, the menu is lovely but for some dishes I thought the construction was a little odd. eg. Chicken salad was basically on two lettuce leaves with a whole chicken breast on bone and avocado in really big pieces. The same in a way for breakfast, I thought avocado on toast would be 'smashed' with some seasoning, maybe chili or coriander but it came sliced but whole. Nice ideas but would have tweaked them.

After dinner still going on ……stopped eventually. Have had great stays with you before….using downstairs rooms…will request them next time….hope to come again. Delicious baked cod ..thank you . Ps thought you should know about the above

From start to finish it was excellent! The place itself is lovely and quaint, the staff were so nice and the food……. Wow! Amazing! Cost is better than expected, seeing as we’re northerners and definitely would expect to pay more coming down south.

To be a pain and pick one niggly little thing, I would say the room size v the bed size. Bit of a pain to get around with the tv on the wall. I hate being this person but I think a little feedback can go a long way! This is the only reason not to give the magic 10/10 as everything else was spot on, so I’m sorry 😬

We found this property last minute as it was on our route of travel. We booked the room with a spa bath which was tastefully decorated, spacious and had plenty of special touches such as complimentary essential oils for the spa bath, candles, and a mini bar with optional purchases. The rate was very competitive for the standard of room compared to similar in this location/region. Staff were very welcoming and the village pub and restaurant attached were thriving for a Sunday afternoon and evening. lovely menus including the Sunday night pizza’s. really tasty and good value for money. would highly recommend and stay again if we are ever in the area. nb. seeing the red kites swooping around while having a morning cuppa was also a rare treat!

nothing to note.

Very helpful and friendly staff. All genuinely interested in you, as people. Approachable, helpful, ND welcoming. Especially, the servers at dinner who were VERY busy. The staff were catering for a pre-wedding event as well as usual Friday night trading. The pub was very busy and clearly some people had travelled some distance to eat there. So if you book a room, remember to book your table at the same time. Otherwise you might miss a place at dinner. The food was excellently prepared and presented. We didn’t have a desert course because the main course was more than enough (but that is quite common, in our case). Room was better than expected. We booked a small double but I think we might have been “upgraded” because the accommodation was filled with wedding guests. The bed was certainly not small. It was as wide as it was long. The rooms are named after famous race horses and all around had framed photographs of their achievements. The rooms had all the necessary “items” that guarantee a comfortable stay. The towels were fresh and dry - all too often a “point of failure” even for more expensive stays!!! Definitely worth a stay. Easily exceeded our expectations - and from the booking.com “write-up” we were expecting a lot.

The room was delightful from the super freestanding bath to the comfortable bed. The shower was hot and powerful. We were supplied with plenty of towels, soaps etc. and a good range of hot and cold drinks in the room available. We slept very well. The pub itself is a delight and very friendly and the food superb. The breakfast was hot and sitting in the ‘stable’ area was relaxing. I would highly recommend this place.

Nothing.
