The location was fantastic, with only a short walk into the town and to restaurants. I forgot to send a message to say I am gluten free for breakfast purposes, but our host was able to get me gluten free bread that came with a toaster bag so I could use the regular toaster if I wished. The breakfast was AMAZING! I had a lovely fruit salad, juice, eggs tomatoes, bacon and sausage (which just so happened to be gluten free). It was served lovely and hot, and very attractively on the plate, and I had also had a pot of tea. My husband had the coffee and said it was very good. Our host even said it was ok to use the dining room if we wanted take out food, which we did. I can’t say enough about how lovely our stay was, and highly recommend.

On arrival my husband and I got a very friendly welcome by the owner of the property. He was so informative with regards to all the things which we could do in Keswick. The walks, places to eat and places of interest. The guest house was so comfortable from being kept lovely and warm to fantastic beds which gave you a great sleep and lots of hot water when showering. The room was spotlessly clean. the breakfasts were first class. we had our dog and the owners were so good with her. Well done Matt and partner. Can’t recommend you enough. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Hosts were great and really helpful. The breakfast was excellent, worth staying here just for that! The location was just a couple of minutes away and as we had a dog with us, being right next to a park was really useful too. Their collection of DVDs pleased my two children!

If I was to stay here again I would stay in a bigger room! The two rooms we had were small, but we managed. Yes, we knew the size when we booked but we thought it would be slightly bigger!

A super friendly guest house in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the centre of keswick. Owner is very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Breakfast was made to order and was fresh, tasty with lots to choose from. There was also an added extra treat of home made cake per guest which was a lovely bonus. Rooms are spacious and very clean, again added extra such as tea, coffee & biscuits is always welcomed. We stayed on a rare sunny day but the windows opened plenty so rooms did not become to warm!

Very small downside could be the parking as it’s street parking only- but it’s a luck basis and this is out of control from the owner.

Amazing stay at Matt's guest house. A warm welcome and excellent cooked breakfast with a choice of continental too! The wrapped up cake to take on our walk the next day was a lovely touch too. A very short walk to town for a great choice of restaurants and shops. Plenty of street parking. We stayed in the small double room and it was perfect for us as a couple. Matt had great communication prior and during the stay. He was more than happy to arrange special requests. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here!

Great breakfast with a small parcel of some home-made moist cake to take with us. Dog friendly place, and our room was large and comfortable. It was just a short walk to the centre of Keswick.

We had to find parking on the local roads. We did find some but we were early there - it might have been trickier later. We also somehow parked under a bird flight path as our boot was covered in poop but the rest of the car was OK.

I loved the room very spacious and the fact it was dog friendly. The breakfast was very nice. Matt was very helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble. The slice of cake to take home tasted amazing and was a lovely touch. Location was perfect. Would definately stay again and would definately recommend. The shower was great very powerful and hot.

really loved the chap running it. he was so helpful. Breakfast was amazing The room was nice although a little on the small side but that wasn’t an issue, we were only sleeping there as out the rest of the time. the room was clean and pleasant. my only real gripe was that the bed was quite hard and the pillows were the flat ones that have no plump. Im afraid I had quite a poor nights sleep, but otherwise was a lovely place to stay and would certainly recommend.

I've never stayed in a dog friendly b&b that's so spotless! The owners really make it though. Very warm and welcoming, even gave us some home-made cake with our breakfast. The information they provide on the local area is fantastic. The rooms are very nice and very clean. Will definitely be staying here again! Oh, and they're dog lovers which is a bonus! Thank you.

Great location close to the centre of Keswick, plenty of on street parking. Lovely B&B accommodation; spotlessly clean, modern comfortable double room with plenty of storage & lovely shower room. Tasty, beautifully cooked & presented breakfast. Thanks Matt for the attention to detail. Would definitely like to stay here again.

No easy chair in the room but I really didn’t need it.
