It’s a lovely building and the room was clean, the staff on arrival were nice and the waitress we had was very friendly.

The bathroom in our room was like something out of the 70’s and definitely needed a bit of TLC. The water pressure on the shower wasn’t great either. On checking out we had a very rude lady, one of the other staff told her we were waiting to check out and she just said she was busy, she did come over eventually, no smile, no how was your stay, just a very curt, you just stop your key at reception, obviously having never stayed there we didn’t know this. I think she needs a little training on customer service. The other staff however were lovely.

I remember the Two Brewers from living in the area 45 years ago, and it was good to return to a smart, well run, comfortable and friendly place. Decor in public areas and rooms was smart and the bedroom and bed were spacious.It is in a busy village, with a lovely outlook from the hotel, but noise was not a problem. Good parking facilities. Special requests, e.g. gluten free food, were well catered for. A good choice on the menu. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again: it's in a pleasant rural spot but accessible to larger centres.

The ensuite bathroom was rather dated, though functioned fine. Although there was a good choice at breakfast, portions were not as generous as in many places. But these were minor points, and didn't spoil our stay.

Stayed after visiting Harry Potter studios, after a busy day it was perfect to sit and have a drink outside the pub over looking the village green and then a walk through the woodland opposite. Family room was large and comfortable, sofa bed was a very good size. Easy, free parking. Dinner was excellent, and served by friendly efficient staff. Such a perfect location, we couldn't believe our luck to have found it.

The bathroom let the rooms down, really needed some money spending on it. The rooms were very clean so not a reflection on the staff but the brewery itself.

It was in a lovely location, just across the road from the village green where there was a cricket match being played. The Two Brewers was very clean, room was perfectly adequate, good value for the price, dinner and breakfast delicious and the staff were exceptional. I was a little concerned after reading some negative comments but went with an open mind after booking at short notice. OK, so some features could be updated but I’ve been fortunate to have stayed in some exceptional hotels and think this represents excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

My cousin’s steak was rather tough but was replaced free of charge by a very apologetic waitress. Nothing to dislike, really.

The hotel was lovely, staff were so friendly and attentive, the food was amazing! It is close for Harry Potter Tour, just a short drive. We also had tickets for the Natural History Museum and Theatre tickets for the Saturday, too, so drove to King's Langley Station, parked, and picked up the train into Euston

The WiFi was non-existent - although we had plans for the days beforehand, we still needed to plan the route and public transport into London. Had to wait until we could get WiFi from our phone provider. Other than that, our stay was wonderful.... think about removing the free WiFi comment, it's a little misleading. So, although no WiFi is available, not even from our own contract provider we would still recommend and still stay again

Great location opposite the common and close to Harry Potter studio tour (15 min drive). Lovely staff. Well priced restaurant. Breakfast made to order. Comfortable rooms. Tea/coffee in rooms. Free onsite parking. Free wifi. Would happily stop again.

Rooms do need a refurb, particularly bathrooms, however price reflects that so very good value. Wifi a little dodgy (according to my teenager!). A few things on drinks and food menu not available, however we arrived on a busy Sunday, so always difficult to know what demand will be and there was still plenty to choose from.

The location was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to eat there but the menu was impressive and the food smelt amazing! I liked that there is a separate entrance for the rooms so that we didn't have to walk through the pub when we came in and out. There was ample parking and I felt that my car was secure. The room was quite small and dated but it was clean and just what we needed. I had read reports of the rooms being cold - it was a little chilly on arrival but there was a portable heater which was really effective in the space. I would stay again.

I always stay here when visiting family, it's a great location, and the staff, food & Drinx on site are great, and the reasons I keep returning

The more I visit the more I notice how tired the hotel part of this site is. Carpets are threadbare, wallpaper is ripped or hanging off the walls and the bathrooms are old, tired and in desperate need of an update. I appreciate it's an old building but Greene King need to put more money into the refurbishment back areas instead of the front of house area, (which is great)

the location was great, just fifteen minutes away from the Harry Potter tour. Everywhere is SPOTLESS. The restaurant is next to the hotel and serves good affordable food. Even though the rooms are next to the pub/restaurant it’s very quiet. But what really makes this place are the staff, they are brilliant. Really friendly, helpful and great with our Grandchildren (two very excited 8 year olds). We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

The rooms are basic and the bathroom needed updating in the room we were in (this isn’t a moan as for what we paid it was more than acceptable).

it was in a lovely location, very quiet and easy to find. There was a nice wood to walk around. The staff were really friendly, nothing was too much trouble and a special note to Carol, the breakfast waitress, who was really lovely. The pub was nicely decorated, a contemporary country feel and the log fires were burning. nice and warm. The rooms were warm and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect.

The pub was lovely, but the hotel decor was a little tired. The carpet was faded and the rooms were a little dated.
