Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington

we had a rubbish breakfast first day because they didn’t tell we were I executive breakfast. instead we we offer dreadful room no amenities on your table and cardboard cups did complain. dreadful

It was very close to the train station we could walk there. The hotel was very clean and high end looking.

I didn’t like the way breakfast was run. The breakfast bar and room was super cramped. The tables weren’t cleared fast enough after someone was done so it took forever to just find a place to sit down and eat. Me and my husband just took our breakfast up to our room one day because they’re weren’t any tables that were both empty and clean. I’ve also tried reaching out to the hotel over something we left in our room by mistake and no one seems to care enough to reply back to me.

Excellent location, beautiful ambience reception. Staff are very helpful. Coffee shop located on the ground floor was excellent together with a mini shop with an excellent selection of delicious snacks, beverages, and essential overnight items could be purchased.

The bar/restaurant was not very well organised on the night - staff training required. Booked and paid for a superior room, but got a standard room.

Love the location that's why we return to this hotel.

The room was freezing only blew cold air so had to turn it off! No other way of heating the room the heating and air conditioning system needs updating

Everything except the roo.

I upgraded because there were 2 adults & a child.. The Room was very small. When we were in it we had to put our luggage in the bath. I was so disappointed.

Good size room at 12th floor with comfortable bed and a great city view! Clean bathroom and independent air conditioning system. Great location.

Paid twice for drink, I paid at the bar but they charged the drink on my credit card too. Breakfast room was too busy and a real mess….

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Copthorne Tara Hotel! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the exceptional receptionist, Roshni. Her friendly demeanor and efficient assistance truly set the tone for my stay. The hotel itself was fantastic – clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, ensuring a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the city. The amenities provided were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was inviting.

The room was very close to the train track. Although the hotel has double glass, the trains can still be heard.

Very nice building inside, marble foyer/ beautiful woodwork ( we also upgraded the room to ensure a view and it wasn't much more expensive to do this) and the staff were lovely! They were all very friendly and helpful, lovely lady on the reception when we first arrived who checked us in and also the lady who checked us out was just as helpful. The porter in charge of the luggage was such a nice and accommodating man ( he stored our luggage the next day after we checked out). The hotel is centrally located to everything too. The food on offer for breakfast was very good and we really enjoyed it, full English breakfast and there were pastries, yogurts,fruits,toast, cereals etc to choose from too. We didn't have much time to use the restaurants and other cafés/tearoom but they all looked very nice and we did look at the menus and there was plenty of choice and offers available too. The staff in the restaurants were also very friendly. The room was very clean/tidy on arrival and we had plenty of towels and toiletries were provided too. The bathroom featured a bath as well as the over bath shower which i prefer. The room rates/prices especially for London are excellent in my opinion. We definitely plan on making another trip back to stay for longer at the hotel next time .

I really like the style of the hotel overall and the furniture but curtains and the style of the bathroom were a little dated in the room itself but to me this is fairly insignificant in the scheme of things. Everything was very clean and well kept though so this was just cosmetic/because the hotel is older. I also thought the price of the hotel fairly reflected this as expensive upgrades come with expensive room prices usually!.

Excellent location, smooth check-in experience, superb staff as always on reception/at breakfast/room service, a very good choice of breakfast items, and convenient luggage-hold area.

Our room was beside two family rooms with noisy children staying in them who were still awake at midnight. I couldn't sleep with the noise so decided to knock on the wall a few times, which seemed to do the trick! We would have liked a quiet lounge area where we could sit and have a hot drink/beverage but the only options were going into the restaurant (but we didn't want food or to be a busy environment) or the reception area but there were too many people sat there.

Room with double bed is great - we did upgrade with a bit of a view. The location is superb.

Breakfast sometimes there was coffee, sometimes not. Fruit salad always apples and pears and occasionally oranges. Would be nice to have berries. However, bananas were available. Would be nice to have brown or whole wheat bread for toast and not just white bread. Lots of sweet breads for breakfast. Only discovered later that one could order fried eggs or an omelette.
