Reading the reviews made me nervous about the hotel itself, the location and so much more. But I actually loved the area. It was close to the city centre, great train and bus connection and there was everything you need in walking distance (up to 500 meters), including little shops that were open all night (with incredibly nice people). Everyone we met there was really nice and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and pretty much had everything we needed including a little fridge, tea, some water and even some biscuits. It is a serviced apartment so unlike a hotel your bed won’t be made, but that didn’t bother us. We got fresh towels and extra toilet paper and basic cleaning was done. But now the part that is definitely gonna make us return. The staff, specifically Kash. Literally made sure we had everything we need, asked us daily if everything was alright, and pretty much solved every problem we had on top of being one of the nicest people i have ever met. His service was exceptional and we’ll definitely return soon!

The only problem was not being able to open the window, so next time i’d try to book a room with a terrace, but that’s all!

Both the guys working there who I interacted with were really lovely and helpful! The flat itself is very spacious, well maintained, bed super comfortable and really quiet at night.

Arrived at 9:30pm and didn't feel safe at all walking a few metres to get some food... wouldn't recommend for women on their own! During the day seems fine. Whitechapel isn't the best!

The room is big, new decor and clean. The room I stayed is exactly the one shown here.

The duvet is too warm and it’s too hot to sleep even with the air conditioner was on.

The photographs of the property imply that there is an outside seating area at the rear of the property away from the polluted and very noisy road outside. This is not the case. I requested a quiet room and was placed in one directly facing onto the busy and traffic heavy Commercial Road. There is airconditioning and the windows are double glazed, so it is possible to sleep, although the atmosphere is a little enclosed and airless. The studio was very clean with the exception of the floor, which clearly had not been washed recently, as my socks were black from walking on it only a little ...

The hotel was so clean and the apartments were exceptional. We had a family room with outside space which was brilliant and the room was bigger than expected. We heard no noise from other apartments which was great for a good night's sleep. The beds were extremely comfortable too. The bathroom was so big and easily accommodated the needs of a family, the toiletries were lovely and plentiful also. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very easy and fast check in and check out. Great location and only a short walk from the tube station and located near small supermarkets.

Ignore the negative reviews - this place is excellent. Lovely and welcoming staff on reception, lovely clean and modern facilities. Toiletries provided. Central location, easily accessible via public transport for tourist spots. Closest railway link is a few minutes walk. Stayed here for a couples break to go to the theatre and some of the sights - Aptel is ideally situated for this. Would stay here again, and would recommend to others.

NA - I had my reservations when I looked on trip advisor reviews, but can honestly say these were a misrepresentation of the standard of accommodation. This place is a great find, don’t believe every bad review you read.

The communication with the property, before, during and after was excellent. I was concerned at checking after 7 pm but needn’t have worried as there is 24hr reception. Cash was brilliant. I asked for a quiet room and that is what I got. Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. Lovely soft towel and toiletries. The kitchen had enough for me to make a meal and have breakfast in the morning. Perfect for a one night stay, but would stay longer.

The only thing I noticed is that the floor needed to be properly cleaned. Laminate floor is good but if not properly mopped you can feel the dust when you walk with bare feet.

It was clean and fresh and modern. And had everything you could need for a few nights in London. Very close to the underground and in a very cool part of London. The gentleman who checked us in was such a delight. There was a problem with making key cards and he took us to and from our room anytime we needed while it was being sorted out. Delivered things for ironing straight to our door one morning. They really went above and beyond.

The lobby is a bit strange. Just an empty room with a tv and some iPads. Really put me off when I first arrived, but in the end not a huge deal and everything else was super.

While the hotel is in a pretty nasty street it is still very close to the city center. We were able to walk to the nearest tourist locations and if we needed to use the tube the station is near and most central lines go through. Rooms were clean, beds - extra comfortable. Amenities were great - we toasted sandwiches and made coffee for breakfast in the room. Shower was big and always good pressure. We stayed for 5 nights and in the middle of our stay towels were changed and trash taken out. Loved our stay here, would come back for sure.

The location has more kebab shops and bazaars than locals pubs so it's not like you can go out somewhere close by at night. Nearest tube station always welcomed with a few homeless people at night so it didn't exactly feel safe.
