Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity London Aldgate Tower Bridge

The staff was amazingly friendly and very helpful, my kids and I loved that friendliness. I got coffee offered, and had a glass of champagne for Valentines day, kids got sweets, they was always a small attention to start the day with. The building inside is quite modern, the finishings are well done, bathrooms modern, very well isolated, we had a great skyline view, the kitchenette was well equipped with an Espresso machine, toaster, induction, and we really slept super well cos it was very quiet. The towels heat was quiet practical, and the shower worked very well.

The room was quiet small for 3 people, and some real storages were missing, the storages under the bed were dusty and not convenient, I hit my feet whenever I opened them. The bathroom was also quite tiny, and there was no storage or space, just to hang towels and a small corner for our toothbrushes. There was also lots of dust between the window and the bed and the curtain moved the dust into the bed. Other then this, there was once a weird issue with the housekeeping which they excused and replaced, not important to mention as they really did their best to be great.

My name is Moshe Barsheshet On the date of 07-24-2022 until 07-29-2022, my family and I booked two rooms at the hotel. The service is excellent, the employees are kind and always happy to help with anything. When we arrived at the hotel, I forgot to bring a cable for my cell phone charger. I went down to the reception and there was a guy who helped me a lot and got me I wanted to pay for the charging cable for the service, he did not agree and told me that I would use the charging cable at the end of the stay and return it, anything we wanted was immediately answered positively, the rooms were clean and pleasant, we received the best service there is, the hotel is located 4 minutes from a underground station and allows you to go anywhere. My family and I highly recommend staying at the place, when I visit London again I will book the hotel,

Spacious room and comfortable bed, super modern rooms, we really enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks. very convenient to have a full equipped kitchenette was able to cook meals very easily. loved the short 5 min walk to the Aldgate tube which takes you to all of London. All the staff were always so friendly and helpful. will definitely be staying again when in London ❤️

Nice and very friendly staff, all around smiling and helpfull people. The girls from Lituania are gold for this location. Sandra as well and the hotel manager was everywhere. We were located în 805 room and the upper level the better view. The youhg guy from Domenican republic..... All together diamonds

Overall, all good. A bit tight for 4 people, but was expecting that.

Our particular room was a bit small and awkward for 4 people - had to climb over someone to get to one side of the bed because it was enclosed by three walls. And there was a strange alcove in the entrance that would have been better used for a larger bedroom or bathroom. That said, our family in the next room had a very similar room, but was much better without the smaller bedroom and smaller bathroom issue. So had we had their room, it would have been perfect! I didn't like the area outside the Whitechapel tube... But the Aldgate tube area was better. And the hotel street was nice and it is a nice walk to the Tower Bridge and Tower of London.

Stylish room with comfy bed, beautiful big upholstered chair, and everything you need. Complimentary coffee pods for the Nespresso are very appreciated. Good sound insulation from rooms and hall. Housekeeping honored the “Do not disturb” on the door, which should be standard (but in so many hotels they aggressively knock). Shower pressure was great. Reaching staff via WhatsApp and their friendly and speedy response was excellent and very modern. This aparthotel solves a lot of problems that hotels and short term apartments have, and at a good price.

The room felt hot and dry. The climate control wasn’t intuitive and turns out was only air conditioning not heating. It was odd because in February, you don’t expect a room to be naturally hot and need AC! I had to set it to 16 degrees (C) all night in order to get the temperature to a comfortable level (which was in reality probably closer to 19 degrees). Not the most climate friendly (although I wonder if it’s so hot because of some geothermal central heating that poorly distributes the heat?). One other reviewer mentioned this exact same experience now that I’ve searched for it, although the rest don’t. Maybe it’s just certain rooms? Seems like something to sort though. Otherwise, really nicely designed rooms!

My daughter had a bad experience at breakfast. She ignored by the server. She felt a strong sense of discrimination. I was appalled and disappointed knowing London is such a diverse city.

The Wilde is beautifully decorated and designed, with stunning city views from the windows. Generous complimentary snacks and drinks that are replenished daily - nuts, potato chips, sodas, and water. Kitchenettes with Smeg appliances. Pots, pans, and cutlery are provided. The location is great - several supermarkets nearby and good transport links - buses and tubes (Aldgate East and Whitechapel). The No.15 bus (opposite) takes you to the Tower of London and St Paul's Cathedral.

The Wilde offers breakfast in the lobby, but it's expensive. Also, I don't always feel like eating a lot of food in the morning. For the price per night of a superior studio, I think a small complimentary breakfast could be provided or even coffee and a muffin. However, the Coffee LDN café opposite the hotel sells coffee bagels, muffins, and croissants at reasonable prices. And, we chose to buy cereal and milk from the supermarket.

I decided on the location because of the price and flexibility of an apartment style stay. This was the last leg of our trip (during COVID) and we were a bit tired when we arrived but Eric greeted us and made our entire 5-night stay exceptional! I am a stickler for detail and for every occasion Eric took the time to help us. He even assisted us in finding local clinics to take a required PCR COVID test. He always greeted us with so much energy and went above and beyond his duty. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the option to do my laundry in the hotel. Highly recommend! I love the rooms and decor.

At first impression the area is a little off but it’s a super safe neighborhood with some great local restaurants to eat near by. The train station is super close to major landmarks when visiting.
