Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity London Paddington

Madona :) she offered me a cup of coffee when i was waiting for check in and it was a very nice coffee. Later on the day and again while i was waiting another staff offered me a cup of coffee … that was very nice welcoming. Room is big and very clean … location is also very good near Paddington station and Edward road.

I honestly liked the hotel a lot and i was going to give it 10/10 but while checking out staff was a bit too much and he even tried to rate the hotel himself in booking while holding my phone this is the reason to give it 9/10. That was the only negative thing otherwise everything was excellent and staff were very nice.

honestly I loved everything and have no complaints at all. maybe a slight inconvenience was that the floor needed a bit more mopping. but that isn’t a plausible complaint but as a dad with a baby. I would’ve loved the floor to be more clean for my baby to crawl without me worrying he might pick up something and eat it. also another note is that the place is slightly understaffed for the amount of guests staying. so service is kind of slow if you want them to send anything to your room. but if you go down to the reception and pick up things yourself the staff would be lovely to help you and it would be much faster for you.

Position between two underground station and many bus stop. Supermarkets and restaurants near. Space of the room and the equipments Materials and finishing of each part of the room new and tecnology solutions in order to reduce the energy consumption. High level of quality

Problem with booking services and credit card hacked using hotel e-mail used to confirm reservation payment method and identity.

Everything. Rooms has dishwasher, coffee machine, oven/microwave. Smart TV with Chromecast to stream from your smartphone which is handy for young kids. Laundry room facility for the guests for £5.5 Good Air condition plus an automatic blackout curtains.

I'm aware that cleaning is on the fourth day which happened to our satisfaction. However we think providing a floor cleaning mat/broom 🧹 would be much appreciated especially for families with toddlers.

The room was clean and service by Monica was excellent. She made sure our stay was comfortable and truly enjoyable. She was so ready to serve us with a smile.

A staff named Yehiah an Eyptian by origin was very unscrupulous. He took over Monica and kept saying that Uber was not trustworthy and booked a cab for us which he claimed was with the Hotel. The ride that came was horrible. The driver looked sleazy and like a thug. We immediately requested to get a ride to the airport by the London Cab. Both the driver and another Eyptian staff kept pushing us to give a reason. It was a horrible experience. I stood my ground and insisted to get a ride by the London cab. Quickly Monica took over when she saw what was happening. I'm so grateful for Monica.

Everything was new!. Beautiful decor and facilities.

First night the fire alarm went off and the whole hotel came out. 1am!!!. Meanwhile it wasn’t anything, and they didn’t offer any apologies for the confusion. Everyone was confused and somehow we walked into the next hotel in the confusion trying to find our way back to our various rooms after the ruckus. I wish they had at least apologised for it at least. Everyone was uprooted from their rest, even babies!.

Location is very good - close to Paddington Station, good neighbourhood, fast access to subway. New block of flats, stylish design and decoration. Everything works as expected since is really new.

Cleaning on the fourth day means just tucking in the bedsheets - not even the towels were changed, no dishes done, bathroom not cleaned. We stayed for 5 nights. The design looks good until you actually have to pass near the wall - bumping your head in the lighting fixture. Rooms are a bit on the small side because they tried to put in so many features. Dishwasher is a bit over the top in a room this small. Microwave/oven combination is so high up you need a chair to take the dishes out if you are under 1.60m and do not want food all over you.

The property appears to be well-maintained. The staff was generally friendly. The location was very close to the Paddington Station and in a neighborhood with many good restaurants.

The room was very small and illogically designed. For instance, there was very little storage space, no bedside tables, and a large bathroom but no counter space. In addition, the kitchenette wasn’t as functional as I would have liked; the Nespresso machine was nice but there weren’t cups sized to fit with it and the microwave was too small for the plates provided. In addition, they seem to be understaffed and some of the staff seemed to be confused about their roles. This hotel has a lot of potential but needs some attention to detail.

Brand new block of self catering apartment which is near lots of shops and local amenities, Paddington and Edgware Road tubes are about 5-10’mins walk which was very handy to get out and about. Views from room overlook the little plaza and my 4 month old baby enjoyed looking out at the scenery. I booked this place as it had a kitchenette which was very useful for preparing my baby’s feeding etc. Pots and pans were available and all items were super clean and if wanted we could have cooked a meal. There’s also a pantry at reception where you can buy ingredients to cook.

Only negative is one of the pillows had mould on it or it wasn’t changed from previous stay; I noticed and contacted reception but the response was very slow and no apology from them. They said they will investigate with housekeeping team but until the time we checked out no one got back to us or apologised which I thought was poor customer service. Apart from that everything else was spot on and will book again.

From the minute we walked in the door the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to help us. Nothing was too much trouble. Paddington tube/train station is around the corner and Edgware Road tube is across the road. The apartment was immaculate and well kitted out with everything you could need and the staff knocked on the door each day to check if there was anything else we needed. I couldn’t rate this place any higher!

Absolutely nothing. Everything was perfect. The only thing, as we were 3 girls in the apartment, a mirror near a socket for drying/styling hair would have really been welcome. There were plenty of places beside a socket that a mirror could be placed, so this could be easily rectified.
