Point A Hotel London Paddington

A great find in London! Staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel is just around the corner from the Paddington station, so it is incredibly convenient for public transportation or just walking to explore. The room was small but well-appointed, with a very comfortable mattress and fun mood lighting options via LED lights hidden above the window curtains, headboard, and mirror. Many colors to choose from! Super easy check in and check out.

The room was abbreviated but well-appointed; however the bathroom was a bit cramped. But overall, a great value for the location and a very modern feeling hotel.

Everything was really nice, rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Staff were really helpful and nice. Breakfast was wonderful (fresh and tasty). I enjoyed my stay here. Great location - only about 3 minute walk to tube.

Convenient access from Paddington station, also close to Edgeware Rd tube station, Tesco supermarket across the road. Clean, modern quiet room with lift access (had room with window (that opened), my friend with basement room with no window didn't have lift access). Beds were firm but as I've had back issues they were really comfortable, as were the pillows. Usb charging port and power point next to bed. Rooms are small but look newly renovated. Shower is ok, temperature is good but you shower in a fine mist as the shower head lets out a thin spray of water. Didn't try the onsite breakfast. Friendly helpful polite staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff at reception. We arrived a little early but were allowed into our room straight away. The hotel is very clean. The room was small, exactly as shown in the pictures. The beds were very comfortable and we couldn't hear any noise from neighbouring rooms at all, which was great. Close to Paddington station and underground (Paddington and Edgeware Road). Easy to get to by public transport. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection and was constantly restocked.

There was no kettle (again, we knew that there wouldn't be one in any of the rooms, it's just something that would have been nice).

Great location very near Paddington Station. Very modern interior and the staff very friendly. They have hot running water at all times of the day and the room is clean. They provide shampoo and hair blower in case you need it and it also has lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby, as well as supermarkets. I would definitely prefer it again. It is excellent for its money. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a value for money hotel.

The bed was a little too hard for my liking but it might not be an issue for someone else. Also, I didn’t like because I wasn’t informed that, if you book through their website their breakfast is free but if you book through booking.com, you have to pay almost £13 per person per day. Finally I had to ask the reception to get a hand towel for the room, they don’t provide it from the beginning. Please have in mind that because of the close proximity to the underground, you can definitely feel the trains passing but it is not that annoying, neither ruins the experience or keeps you awake at night.

Even though the room was compact, it was very well arranged and had everything you needed. Exceptionally good value for money, compared to other hotels/rooms available at same price. The staff were excellent and friendly. left luggage facility also a big bonus.

Hard to find anything to complain about.

Fantastic location and staff were lovely!

‘cosy double’ was VERY cosy.. only really suited for 1 night, 2 maximum. We were on the first floor and could hear the tube very clearly.. I feel sorry for the rooms on the ground floor!

If the room would have been bigger it would have been great. For a couple of nights its perfect. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but for a couple of nights, its doable

The room was tastefully decorated and well maintained, and the bed was really comfortable, AC was great (staying in September and was still quite warm) and the little cafe downstairs also great.

Rooms were tiny, but that's standard for London. Unlike other hotels I have stayed in around London, Point A makes up for the small space with creative storage solutions (hooks on the walls for coats, space under bed for suitcase, cupboards and shelves etc) which really helped. Main issue was that there's no tea or coffee in the rooms - you can get both downstairs in the cafe, but it's not the same!
