Novotel London Paddington

very clean hotel in the heart of Paddington canal , train station and amenities nearby. Breakfast was great value for money as kids are free. Hotel pool great addition for families . The staff were very kind and helpful and rooms made up great . The staff were kind enough to leave my daughter a birthday message and slice of cake as I told them in advance it was her 12th birthday . Thankyou Novotel !

everything was great small issue with key card which was remedied quickly . you are able to hear trains go past on occasion as it is close to station but worth it for jumping straight on tube to get around.

Great location. Clean, spacious room, good facilities. Dining bar area was lovely and Reception and Bar staff were lovely, polite and very helpful.

Was upset with staff in the spa area. First of all there was no one really keeping an eye on the pool area. Then when we had pointed out that children were using the emergency floats, the parents of children became very confrontational and although a staff member had walked passed several times and could see something was going on they did nothing to intervene or calm down the situation. I was with small kids and this was very unpleasant for them to see. It would have been greatly appreciated if staff had stepped in.

Very convenient location close to Paddington and in an office area. The staff were quite kind, especially Alexander at the reception. We asked for a room with a nice view and the request was fulfilled. Breakfast has good options of food. It was good value for money considering the central location in London and the size of the room.

The room itself needs an upgrade which would meet the Novotel brand and the current standard. It would be nice to have complimentary water and USB plug sockets. A Nespresso coffee machine in the room would be a nice plus as well. At breakfast the tables were not cleaned fast enough so it can be hard to find a table if you arrive late.

The location is excellent, easy for travelling via Paddington and situated near the canalside and Little Venice, as well as the Paddington Central area which is safe, pedestrian centred, well set up for cafes, restaurants, bars and essentials. A haven in the middle of the city. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and thoughtful, the facilities are excellent, the restaurant is decent and the bar a friendly place to relax. Breakfasts are good and have decent variety. Finally the pool and sauna/steam room offer the icing on the cake for a relaxing stay.

Nothing really, on this vist, everything was very agreeable. Perhaps the availability of a gluten free cereal at breakfast would have been ideal, but overall this is a very well run, well equipped and well staffed establishment.

Clean hotel. Nice staff. Cooperative. The distance to station is not as in map. It requires a good walk for almost 5 to 7 minutes. Little difficult for a family with a push chair and kids. overall a clean hotel, nice location . Expensive. At the end of the day, it's london and its summer holiday season, so it's 👍.

The room that was given to us had a stinky smell from the sewage? We requested to change it immediately. They were reluctant at the beginning, but after almost an hour or so, we had a different room. The room has no USB chargers slot, apart from a single one in the speaker. There is no electricity socket by the bed, and you have to keep your phone charging on the dressing table or the desk away from you.

The room was above the train station and the soundproofing was incredible. Never heard anything and the kids loved the experience. Also, breakfast, staff, room were great.

There is no shallow end to the pool. I understand that it’s meant for swimming laps, but the only guests we saw were families. Would be nice if there was an area that could accommodate anyone shorter than 5’3” to stay above water without having to tread the whole time. Also, would have been nice to have a water filtration system in the lobby. Most hotels have that, which is a simple, and nice amenity these days.

Nice clean business hotel but suitable also for families. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Staff was kind but we didn't use their service much. We received plenty if not too many complimentary products and the towels were replaced daily.

Only real issue was the drainage - sink, bathtub and shower none of them were working properly. This was a bit inconvenient with four people in the room. The hotel being situated in a transport hub and surrounded by offices meant that the view was on a highway and not many services close by at night. Some restaurants at walking distance were fine.

Location ! Location! Location! This place is situated amongst a fantastic restaurant and cafe district. You have local shops and supermarkets, along with many transport options that make the London experience so easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Practice was great as the kids eat free and nothing was too much trouble with anyone. I highly recommend this place! I was a mum and two children on my own and I felt safe at all times in this area

The fridge was silly. It was a cold box not a fridge. Why ?

Perfect location, and I liked that it has a pool. It’s a very short walk from Paddington station. The pool was well kept. Rooms were quite spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and trustworthy.

1. I didn’t realise before booking the hotel and I’m not sure if it is mentioned anywhere, but you actually can’t just use the pool without booking it for a certain time slot. We didn’t have any issue booking it though. 2. Rooms are fine but bathrooms need an update. No locks on bathroom doors

Possitive Deputy Boss of the receptoin: She solved that mistake by offering us the late check out including the nice stay in the hotel pool&gym. + Hotel pool at all + gym, both in the price of accomodation + Position between one of the main railway station, two or 3 Lines of Underground and the "Londons Venice" and City centre. + Breakfast = meal as like as all the staf.

4stars hotel without waste water pipe of the sink in order + solution: to remove that And to stop all the h/c water pipe in the sink in our bathroom without informing us! Not welcoming and negative welcome at the receptoin by our arrival July 2nd. '22.
