Hotel Indigo London Hyde Park Paddington, an IHG Hotel

Clean bedlinen and towels, and very convenient location near Paddington train/underground station. Many places to eat/drink nearby. Coffee machine in the room is also very convenient.

Our reservation was upgraded to the higher class room, but to be honest it did not look like that at all🤷‍♀️ we stayed here several times before and this room was worse and smaller than all others we got before. A room was tired, water in the shower did not normally drain, in general it was a very tight room with low ceilings (a mansard) and no space to open at least one medium suitcase. Coffee in the restaurant was bad.

Being so close to Paddington station (2 min walk) made it super easy to get to. I had an early flight in the morning and just got up and jumped on the Heathrow express without having to get through London first. For this price category in London, the room was a comfortable size and nicely decorated. It had triple windows so was really quiet and I slept really well. Plus, the room had a charging box for European plugs and USB connections, which was good because I forgot my adapter. And the Minibar was all free of charge.

The location is perfect, very close to transportation and restaurants. I will definitely return.

At check-in, I was given a room smaller than what I booked for. The staff at the reception were initially unwilling to change the room. It took a lot of resistance from me before the room was changed. It would be nice if the hotel is a little less stringent with its checkout timing. With checkout at 11am and my flight at 10pm, it took a lot of cajoling before I was given a grace of 1hr to checkout. Hence, I had to pay extra £15 for every hour I was in the room.

Breakfast was good variety ranging from full English to cold cut and cheese , fruits and juices. Service was attentive and efficient.. Coffee was good variety Americano was good. Dinner menu was good variety .. Dining room inside and outside patio

Dining tables look tired.. Longe very small Bathroom plumbing in one room was being repaired Water was dripping into dining area but was fixed Bathroom fshower foor is very slippery

The location is superb especially if arriving by train into Paddington. All staff on reception were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable although on the small side. Well appointed bathroom but again very small. Loved the White Company soap, shower gel etc. Small fridge replenished with water, orange and cola on request. Good air conditioning/heating system.

Service at breakfast in Bella Italia was dire. Totally disinterested staff, no leadership and rude if asked for something. Unless breakfast is included in price, I recommend finding somewhere else. I also didn’t like having to ask for breakfast vouchers every day. These should be given on check in. Small, dark bedrooms. Ceilings were high but rooms small. Beds were very firm and quite high. Housekeeping was completed quite late in the day.

The restaurant is top notch. Service is exemplary and tries hard to make sure everything is alright. Stylish and quiet hotel in a great location.

Air conditioning didn't work in our room. We complained, got a replacement room and it still didn't work. The second replacement room had a working one, but was smaller than the original room. To make up for the inconvenience we've been offered a free upgrade to a bigger room than the original one and it fortunately had working air conditioning.

The breakfast was good value, but staff had to be asked for everything and did not seem up to the job when the man in charge wasn’t there, when he was there it was completely different, tables were cleared but not wiped or set for the next guests. When asked to fill up juice they did this but had to be asked to supply glasses.

Our reception was not great with nothing explained to us, we were given vouchers for breakfast for one when there was two of us, certain members of staff would benefit from more training.

The location is very convenient for the Heathrow Express, which is the easiest way to get into central London after a long flight. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of 4 tube lines. I arrived a little early but they had a room ready and I was able to check in before the regular check-in time. The room was spacious by London standards and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was serviced every day; other hotels in Paddington, where I had stayed a few months ago, had discontinued daily room cleaning, claiming this was an infection-control requirement. The staff were very polite and helpful. They kindly agreed to store a small package for me when I had to travel out of the city in the middle of my stay.

The restaurant appeared to be a little short-staffed at breakfast.

Me and my brother stayed in a twin room with separated beds. The comfortable twin beds were properly separated and not pushed together, which we appreciated. The room itself very spacious as was the bathroom, which was due to the fact it was a wheelchair-friendly room. Everything was clean. Breakfast was superb, with a choice of menu food by the nextdoor Italian restaurant and additionally the option to grab food from a small continental buffet. Staff in the restaurant were busy but on the spot. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Paddington Station in the middle of town.

There was a problem with daylight reaching the room, as it was in the basement and a single window got its light through a narrow, deep light well.

Breakfast was exceptional and staff were very friendly and helpful. On site fitness centre was good for a city hotel gym

Room was a little small but its ok as we didn't spend too much time in it. Asked for a twin room but given a double bed so less space than requested but again, we managed ok
