Redchurch Townhouse

What a fantastic place to stay! Shoreditch is the best location in London, so central and vibrant. The Redchurch Townhouse is right in the middle of it. Super staff, really helpful and a very quiet location in the middle of the most vibrant part of London. A must!

The rooms, decor and cleanliness were one of the best things about this hotel. We did have one of the bigger absolutely beautiful suites and our adult sons had a regular room which was nicely decorated as well. I love how these rooms were decorated. I was a little nervous when we entered the lobby to check in. It was a little shabby and located on a small alley street. They did have access to a gym around the corner. This was an excellent amenity. Just know the gym does not open until quite late on the weekends. The tube station is extremely close. There is nothing else really in this area to see but with the tube so close by it wasn’t a big deal.

Very calm and cozy. Room with loads of natural light Bar fully stocked with lots of great products, the room had everything we needed (adapters for our devices, hairdryer, snacks for when you get hungry late at night etc.) Well situated within 10 minutes walk of liverpool street station and also coaches going directly to the center (nice bus hop to tottenham court road and then walking distance to covent garden etc.).

There was water dripping out of the shower cabin. This left the floor always wet and we had to put towels on the floor to avoid slipping. the lights in the corridors are a bit dim and dark, even with the neon.

Friendly and communicative staff. Service minded. Nice with sparkling water at arrival and departure. The restaurant downstairs is pretty good and the interior is nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and the duvet was thick instead of a thin sheet. The shower has the best pressure and space. Our room was on the 3rd floor which was lovely. The towels are of quality and very comfortable. The room was clean. Very good value for money here and I would definitely stay again!

The only thing I could say is that we felt very unsure about what is included in the room and what is not. That was mainly due to the reviews. However, we had no issues at checkout. The only thing we used was the hand wash and nothing else in the room as we did not want to get an unpleasant surprise at checkout. Also the shower door is not completely secured so there was a lot of spilling with water when taking a shower.

So many extras-incredible array of bathroom products, iron & steamer, best mini bar with devine glasses, silver tray, cocktail shakers, coffee pods, full tea service, room to lounge about & desk, turn down service with fresh towels, friendly helpful staff, enormous comfortable bed. The restaurant inside the hotel & responsible for the room service was exceptional for an Italian dinner-Cecconis. Absolute must. Options to use nearby gym, cycling.

With sun rising at 4.30ish better curtains that blocked the morning sun.

The front desk staff were beyond helpful - letting us check our bags in and taking them to the room. Letting us know the room was ready. Checking we were ok. Excellent

The breakfast was the only bum note in the whole stay. Everything else I would rate excellent. We were the only people in the restaurant (admittedly room service may have been prioritised) yet the food took half an hour to arrive and just before we were told the waffle machine wasn't working so one of our party had to choose again. This resulted in her eating alone as all our meals were brought 5 minutes later and hers 15 minutes after that. The food itself seemed to be a little below the high standards that we have come to know and love from this restaurant. Wouldn't have minded so much had not all 4 meals been charged. Over £70 for this breakfast experience was unacceptable and I don't moan about much!

The staff were so helpful throughout our stay, we left our bags before checking in and they were in our room waiting for us when we got back. The room was absolutely amazing, they made a cake with happy birthday on as it was for a special birthday. The whole room was incredible, we stayed in a small accessible, but it was the perfect size. Everything you needed was in the room and the pillows were so comfy! There were even hair straighteners in the room, but we didn’t find them until the morning we checked out.

Absolutely nothing, the hotel was absolutely incredible and we would love to return again for another treat one day on the future.

Besides what is called out already, great room - the overal decoration, high quality bathroom with a proper rain shower, proper lighting, never seen a mini bar this size and truly outstanding set of personal care, combined made up for a very relaxing stay.

Restaurant needs reservation upfront unless you are fine with a seat at the bar, generally a busy area and valid for most restaurants in the area

Friendly attentive staff who did what they could to make your stay memorable. Fantastic interior design and attention to detail. Great minibar, very comfortable beds. All you could ever need in a hotel room and we appreciated the daily housekeeping.

Bathroom fan needs fixing as it got very steamy and some areas needed a paint due to dampness.

The location was superb and remarkably quiet in such a hip and happening area with amazing restaurants, bars and shops right on your doorstep. Mark and the reception team were super helpful during our stay and no request was too much trouble. Cecconi’s a- the on-site restaurant was superb.

There was no real lounge area to hang out in when you weren’t in your room. Housekeeping couldn’t seem to get the timing right with servicing our room when we informed them we would be out.
