SACO Holborn – Lamb’s Conduit St

Everything was provided for, though it took some time to figure out the heating. the maintenance came the next day to check and it was working after. Ran out of washing detergent pretty quickly as I had to wash for the work wear and had to go dwn to get refills a few times. Friendly staff but they seemed unfamiliar with the facilities, though they really tried to help. kudos to them!

Communication on the mid-stay clean could be improved as cleaning did not happen on the day communicated despite me checking. It was done the day after. Still alright for me thankfully as the reception gave me an extra set of towels for the night. Thank you!

The hotel agreed to an early check-in option which was fantastic considering we were traveling with a toddler. On the top of that we have been upgraded to the two bedroom instead of one so made our stay very comfortable. Location is very good overall, just few minutes away from the Russel Square underground, there are plenty of bars/restaurants/shops nearby. It's a 15-20 mins walk from the Oxford street. Apartments are well equipped, beds are comfortable, the heating worked very well too.

It might be a bit loud late in the evening due to many restaurants/pubs nearby and early in the morning when the trash is being collected- but this would affect only very sensitive ears:)

It was a very , very clean apartment. The beds were extremely comfortable . Having the kitchen was wonderful. It had everything you needed.The apartment was in a great location and an easy bus ride into the centre. Also having windows to open was fantastic. When we needed housekeeping they responded quickly.

The kitchen area could do with afew more chair around the table, as there was 3 of us and only 2 chairs.Also an extra small couch would be good , again because there were 3 of us and all of us on one was crowded.

Wonderful location for a short or long stay in central London: easy to walk to the centre, 5 minutes to the Russell square tube stop. Commercial centre, pubs and restaurants around the corner. Located in a quiet street, close to a children hospital, university and research premises, quiet during the whole day. Apartments clean and brand-new facilities.

It was our second stay at SACO and, this time, we had an unexpected issue with the central heating that our guest service was not able to fix. Luckily, it was not such a cold week and we could survive thanks to a spare electric radiator that the service kindly provided. Otherwise, it would have been a big issue. We had the impression that the guest service was not in such a great control of what was (not) happening. An espresso machine was not available.

Exceptional location. Close to tube station, shops, pubs, restaurants and museums. Quiet area. Well appointed kitchen. Washer/dryer. Complimentary washing up liquid and bathroom toiletries. Clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three. Friendly helpful staff who were eager to please.

Some staining on the lounge. Quite a plain flat for the price. Needed a reminder to service the apartment, but it was done that day.

The apartments are clean, spacious and comfortable and very well located - about 10 minutes walk from the British Museum, 20-30 minutes from Leicester Square / Covent Garden / Picadilly Circus / Trafalgar Square, and 30-40 minutes from St Paul's Cathedral / Tate Modern / South Bank / Borough Marker. Of course, you could take the tube and save a little time but above ground is a nicer way to see the city and not much slower anyway. The Italian restaurant next door, Ciao Bella, is hugely popular. The cafe a few buildings away in the opposite direction, Tuttis, is very good and offers vegan options, including vegan croissants. The street can be a bit noisy at night - this is London! - but I didn't find it a problem with the windows closed. If you happen to be a Nuffield Gym member, there is one just around the corner, also a PureGym at the end of the street. Overall, this was a much better choice for my family and I (a family of 4, including two children, aged 16 and 18) than staying in an hotel because of the extra living space and kitchen area. I would happily stay here again and most likely will do so.

Great location on a lovely street and near the tube station. Spacious apartment and very clean and comfortable. A reception office downstairs made it feel secure as a solo traveller. The staff on reception were really friendly and welcoming.

Kitchen needed more utensils, tea pot,salad bowl, scissors to open packages from supermarket etc. Evenings in the street could be noisy due to a pub nearby and my bedroom was on the street side of the building.

Studio has easy access, but still feels safe. It’s comfortable and clean. Nice to have fridge, dishwasher and two ring hob. Location is great, near to British Museum and theatre district. There are staff on reception all day and they are very pleasant and helpful.

501A is next to the lift and there was noise on and off all night, but after the first night we got used to it. There’s only one easy chair which is a shame, because a two seater sofa would fit in the space. there is no shelf or bedside table on one side of the bed. I used a dining chair.

SACO-Holborn provides a great blend of a VRBO apartment and a hotel, at a very favorable price. We enjoy the Lamb's Conduit Street location for its proximity to fun restaurants, historic pubs, and the Russell Square Underground station. The one-bedroom apartment was clean, the bathroom was more than adequate, and the kitchen contained all of the appliances and kitchenware necessary to allow us to prepare full meals if we had chosen to do so. The HD TV with dozens of satellite channels was a plus, and the high-speed internet connection was very reliable. The building is secure, and it is well located within a short walk of a pharmacy, cafes, a convenience store, specialty shops, and a park. We will definitely return to the SACO-Holborn apartments when we visit London in the future, and we will be advising our friends to do the same!

Noise from delivery trucks servicing the adjacent convenience store at street level early in the morning might disturb light sleepers, as might the late night/early morning "after hours" sidewalk conversations of some patrons from nearby pubs. Neither of these slight intrusions into the overall quietness of the location in general would be enough to consider staying elsewhere.
