Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury, an IHG Hotel

The room was reasonably the right size for 3 of us (a queen size and a foldable bed) The toiletries were excellent and so were the towels. The location was good as it was near the eateries, train station and buses. We could easily walk around the area. The bar was also well serviced and dinner was reasonable. The breakfast was good and well placed.

The long bath in the bathroom has a panel to block shower water from wetting the floor. However, I find it a little risky for seniors like me as it shifts about. and still wets the floor. Perhaps one fixed panel could have been safer.

Very nice hotel for family with kids. Rooms were pretty spacious, and the breakfast buffet was very good indeed. The adjoining pub had good food too. Both breakfast and the pub had discounts for the children. Well placed, with short distance to the tube (Russel Square) and lots of shops and eating options close by. Also at departure I was rearranging the luggage when someone (who just kept walking) kicked over my shopping-bag and broke a wine bottle. The staff was very helpful with cleaning up the mess, and gifted us another bottle of wine and apologized for the incident, while they were not at fault at all. Overall very good service!

I can't think of anything bad to say. Perfect hotel for my family with 3 kids aged 4-11.

Everything!! 😍😍 -All staff members were very nice from the moment we entered the hotel. They were very professional and always helpful throughout our stay. -The room we had was great and spacious. Everything needed was available and working well. -When something extra was required it was easily provided by staff. -Breakfast was very delicious and there was a wide variety of food. And it was nice to visit both hotel restaurants as well. -Moreover, the hotel is just next to the underground station. - I really recommend staying at this hotel if you visit London 👏 ❤️

Location was the best thing. The hotel's area was great. It is located in a clean, quite lovely neighborhood. Close to all main spotes on the city, close to small and big metro and bus stations. Near the hotel you can find everything you need: supermarkets, drugshops, resturants and coffee shops. All a person needs to have close on a vacation in a bid city. Oxford street and Soho are just 10 minites walking.

The hotel is pretty clean but old and needs some renovations. For me it wasn't an issue because most of the day i was travelling the city, therefore out of the room... If you are planning to stay more hours in the room you better consider taking a room in a newer / renovated hotel in this area. The hotel rooms *has pretty good air-conditions* and this point is important if the temperatures are getting higher like it did whan we visited the city.

This hotel was a perfect base for our night in London. Not far from the main tourist sights and had everything we needed. There was a great selection for breakfast and the added touch of a waffle being served to my daughter was really lovely. The staff were really helpful and accommodating and cooled the room down as soon as we asked. The gentleman who checked us in, Po Han, was very attentive and we couldn’t have asked for more.

The bed was not comfy. While it was ok just for one night, I think if I was staying longer I would’ve struggled as we barely slept. The parking under the hotel, while extremely convenient, was a bit too expensive. £43 for 26 hours, when we’re already paying the congestion charge, was a little steep.

Location, cleanliness , breakfast were perfect.

Attitude of the Reception supervisor when I had a booking issue. I had booked for 2 adults and a child in one room inc. breakfast. However she told me I had only booked for 2 adults. Having called the hotel the week prior to my arrival to check my booking details, and this was confirmed, this problem was unexpected. I then was asked to pay for an extra bed to be put into my room. I then found my booking confirmation stating clearly 2 adults and 1 child, and now have to wait for a refund. She gave me little apology and proceeded to ask for child ID !!! ??? Not a good way for us to start a trip we were excited about. We did not have ID and this was then waved. This booking was made through Booking.com

Excellent breakfast, great variety and location is very central

Seemed to be confusion between Holiday Inn and Booking. Com After confirming my booking, Holiday inn contacted me saying debit card was not correct and booking wasn't secure, after 3 calls to Holiday Inn and no answer from booking.Com -- confirmation was given only to be emailed the day before arrival to be told same thing (Booking not secure) Had to go to hotel in person to resolve issue, problem was fault of booking. Com giving wrong card number . A needless headache.

We spent to nights in London at the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury and enjoyed it a lot.

The location was absolutely fantastic just few steps away from the Russell Square tube station. The area itself is beautiful and has many things to offer including having the British museum just a short stroll away. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic with fresh food every morning. Helpful and welcoming staff. Clean room and comfortable beds. The only thing that wasn't working properly was the wifi but it didn't affect us that much. Definitely booking again and recommending to friends.

Location is great. Room and bed linens are clean. Staff are very friendly. It is near to the British Museum and Russell Square tube station and within walking distance to Euston and St Pancras train stations. There are restaurants, cafes and convenience stores nearby. Service and cleanliness are as good as you expect from an established hotel chain Special thanks to the hotel staff for returning our iPad left in the room. I will most likely stay here again the next time I visit London.

Booking in good although only one room available early but stored all suitcases in that room. Breakfast perfect - plenty and no queuing. Made enquiries about eating at the hotel on the evening. Lady in restaurant, Alexandria, very helpful both in booking a table and taking our orders etc.

Rooms not close together as requested but not a problem. Understand second bedroom too compact. Supposed to be premium twin room with sofa bed. Room too small for Sofa bed to be used properly.
