Morton Hotel

Can't say enough about this wonderful hotel. The first thing we liked about this property was the close proximity to the tube railway system. The surrounding area was lovely, with convenience stores close by, but away from the noise of the city centre. We stayed 1 night in a 1-bedroom apartment which was very clean and nicely decorated. All rooms were spacious, with the updated bathroom offering all you would need, including large, monogrammed towels. (Not sure where the cat fits in - is he Morton perhaps?) The sitting/lounge area was again spacious with plenty of seating options. The wi-fi was great - very fast! Whilst we didn't use the bar/sitting room downstairs due to limited time, it looked very cosy and inviting. We walked into the centre of London - whilst for some, it may be too far. Friendly reception staff. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

I had a fabulous time at the Morton Hotel. The location was perfect, the staff was incredibly helpful and kind and my room was lovely. I had a great place to end my day in London or stay in my room in the morning while I enjoyed my vacation. Highly recommend !

I could have liked a little more closet space in the room, such as a cabinet of drawers. Additionally, breakfast is always appreciated and while the cleaning staff was fantastic I would have appreciated fresh sheets more often.

The staff were fantastic especially Michael. We came down for a weekend to celebrate my birthday and Michael and the staff made it extra special with a card and gift. Would definitely stay here again.

We would have liked to have had breakfast at the hotel but they didn't have a gluten free option so we had to find somewhere else for breakfast. And the room was bright during the day but the lighting in the room was quite dim.

The location is fantastic. Also, it’s very soundproof. Very comfortable beds.

The air conditioning was non-existent. The staff was friendly and understood our plight. They loaned us a fan, which helped. I realize London’s heat wave was unusual, and most businesses were caught unprepared.

Great location near delicious restaurants and tube station. Room had a canopy sofa to relax and read. Shower head was generous and water nice and hot, which is just what one needs after a long day of walking!

The perfume difuser in the hall was a little bit too strong, but the scent was pleasant.

Location is excellent, just opposite a tube station, near Russel square, easy walk from Euston of Kings Cross/St Pancras and easy access to the rest of the City. Rooms are clean and well appointed, and come with useful toiletries in case you forgot something. Nice and quiet, for London, and the room was not too hot.

The room was excellent. I was very impressed with the size and the amenities, specially with the heated floor in the bathroom in addition to the size of the bathtub.

Everything was great. I can't really complain about anything. If it wasn't for the prize (completly understandable for the location) I would go back everytime I was in London.

The hotel was simple, friendly and comfortable and didn't try to be something it wasn't. The staff were competent, knowledgeable & communicative.

There was a small issue with the room phone that couldn't be resolved by the tram on duty, but they suggested I use the reception phone as an alternative.

We had such a lovely stay at the Morton hotel - our room was upgraded and we had excellent views across Russell Square. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and by far the nicest hotel that we've ever stayed in the UK. We hope to return again in the future.

The room is clean and spacious. the staff are courteous and professional. location is perfect too with the Underground station, Tesco and Coffee shops just around the corner
