ibis budget London Barking

I recently had the pleasure of staying at ibis budget London Barking, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel lobby, I was greeted with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. The hotel's ambience was nice. The common areas were immaculately maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests to relax and unwind. My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. What truly impressed me was the exceptional service I received during my stay. The hotel staff were genuinely helpful to assist with any inquiries or requests I had. Each staff member I encountered was friendly, and attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The housekeeping staff always maintained the room impeccably, their dedication to customer satisfaction was truly remarkable. The hotel's location was also ideal and was conveniently close to public transportation to access the London city centre. Overall, my stay at ibis budget London Barking exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly memorable stay in East London.

.. Great cleanliness everywhere. Modern, new equipment in the room. Elevator for your convenience. Cozy, well-equipped restaurant. Ample breakfast, large selection. The staff is friendly and helpful in everything. There is a parking lot. Barking tube station is a 15-minute walk away. Close maybe all the international fast food restaurants can be found. However, you can feel like you are in the same place in countless countries around the world if you choose small restaurants of different nationalities. In the cozy streets. Tesco, Asda shopping places 5-10 minutes walk...

Good size room, good shower and toilet facilities. Staff were brilliant and very clear as to where our room was, was always cleaned and tidy upon our return each day.

TV was very basic, would have been nice to have facilities to use our own devices with it via HDMI cable (consoles) or even cast onto the TV via a code. Channels and menu was difficult to navigate. Windows did not feel adequately sealed, site was near the main road and the constant drone of traffic made it feel like the window was wide open which made sleeping difficult and uncomfortable. Would have been nice to have some sort of ice or refrigeration facilities in the room for personal drinks/bottled water.

The room was very clean and comfy even though it's small (which is obvious for the price but we did not mind it). It's a great choice for shorter stays 😊 There is a Tesco right around the corner which is very convenient. The check-in and check-out process was very quick and smooth.

There was a bit confusion with the breakfast. We paid for a stay with breakfast included in advance but the staff got mistaken few times - they always had to check in the computer system whether or not we have breakfast included. But we sorted it out eventually. The location is a bit further from the city centre and it takes approximately 45minutes by tube to get to London centre so that's just something to keep in mind.

Everything in the hotel is good. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, cleaning every day. Fresh towels every day. Access to the room with an iron. Special ventilation equipment is installed in the windows, it allows you to get fresh air when the window is closed. If you know how to use it, it makes your nights quiet, regardless of the location next to the track. The room for the disabled meets all requirements.

The only thing a little lacking for a comfortable stay is a small refrigerator in the room.

We needed three beds in a room and we got it. It is a clean and warm hotel, perfect match for our needs. Generally, we got what we wanted for fair price and overall our expectations were more than satisfied. We knew what is to expect of ibis 3 star hotel and we got more ;-) Breakfast is highly recommended!

The room was really small, There were no space even for extra chair, only beds and very small table. Everything else was fine. The stuff made our stay pleasant, they were professional and friendly, helped us on whatever we needed and asked for.

The shower

The hotel had no restaurant. The Location had no pub or restaurant nearby . 15 mins walk to town and as a female too risky to walk back at night time.The hotel next door had a restaurant but it was closed as they don't have a chef Friday Sat nights & only for breakfast. The town didn't have much choice where to eat only one place, Christina's but no good if you are a vegetarian- steak restaurant. 15 -20 min walk from the tube. District line good for getting to Victoria direct. Only get 1 large towel no hand towels/use for hair towel.

Staff attention on details & first class service specially in breakfast time. Varieties of menu matching with d amount paid. Great for no fat & vegan customers. By underground from London easy to get from so call" District Line" and its just few minutes walking distance from d station. Every day room was cleaned and high standard maintained.

Could have special breakfast tariff for family up to 3 children. This will attract more family customers to book with them i think.

Staff was very helpful, always there to speak with. Even though it's "budget", the rooms were amazing with great amenities and nice bathrooms. They even have an iron and microwave you can use. I didn't try the breakfast but the other people seemed to enjoy it. Definitely the best "budget" hotel I've been to.

This is a bit of a security issue.. I once went to the desk to ask for a keycard to my room since the cleaning staff had taken mine. The receptionist who I had never met before, asked for my room number and gave me a keycard for that room, without checking for any information or verifying that I'm from that room. Nothing happened, but was a little surprised and it's an open opportunity for the wrong person to take advantage of.

I would start like this ! Shout out to the receptionist! Mavish I think (sorry if I misspelled). She is very helpful, kind and jumps to help and sort out if anything needed. I extended my stay it at this hotel (my flat it’s not ready) just because my stay was amazing because of her ! You should have more staff like her ! I am between moving so I had to stay for 1 week in a hotel. I booked it for 1 week then extend it. As soon as I arrived I got into the room , quick and early check in (as I’ve asked them online because I had an appointment right away so I just needed to leave my bags.) Unfortunately the first room 128 was really small and all the smoke coming inside my room, from people who were smoking right there as it is a corner room next to the exit door. But the lovely receptionist who checked me in , helped me out the next day ( the blonde old lady reveptionist didn’t do it the night before.) She moved me in room 345. A lovely double bedroom with a suitable bathroom and very clean ! It is very, very quiet and big room . Cleaning on spot , everyday the blonde housekeeper checked if I need anything. I didn’t need cleaning everyday. She offered me fresh towels and toilet paper and change of rubbish. Tv working . Free wifi working . Hot water all the time . I am more than happy and felt really welcomed because of this 2 kind ladies ! Heating fine , just not working properly in the night but not bothered too much! You have at the dining area in front of the reception: kettle, microwave, salt , pepper , knife , spoon, forks, you can use. Metro 15 minutes walk , bus 4 minutes walk. Tesco next to Ibis 2 minutes by walk. And there is a market , pharmacy and restaurants 10 minutes walk.

The heating is not working properly, unfortunately in the middle of the night goes off or just makes a big noise as it is air conditioning heating. But every night it goes off and need to switch it on 1-2 times / night (if you wake up). Which is not fun. BUT it wasn’t a big deal for me !!! Maybe in the future you could do something with that.
