Wendover Arms Hotel

The hotel feels like it has been recently refurbished and was spotlessly clean. The shower was one of the best that I have experienced, in any standard of hotel, so very impressive for a 3-star establishment. I was just staying for a brief stopover but the surroundings seem pleasant enough. There's an area out front with picnic benches and a corner shop just across the road.

The room felt a little cramped, but that's quite understandable at this price point. The car park was also a little short of space but it wouldn't be hard to get on-street parking nearby.

Wendover Arms Hotel was a beauty to behold, the decor was modern and stylish. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained.

Friendly staff. Good location and parking. Room really clean. Basic facilities but everything you need and it all worked. Great having the bar to unwind in at the end of the day and really good bar food available with excellent vege and vegan options. No noise from bar in room and slept well. Great for work for functional travel rather than for a holiday.

Could have done with a shelf in the bathroom and a towel rail (to dry the towel for day 2). Otherwise all fine.

Rooms were very clean and fresh. It had microwave, kettle for tea/coffee inc tv with quite a few channels, Bathroom was well laid out, brightly lit, with good sized shower. Bed and pillows was comfortable. Our stay was in a new building at rear with elevators Close to shops, public transport

We stayed here for easy walking access to High Wycombe University (son's graduation), only 10 minute walk away. Free Car Parking at back of hotel via (machine). Rooms were tidy and good for price per night. Good Value Budget Hotel

The hotel has building work via Car Park there. So difficult to Park on Friday afternoon via amount of vans in Car Park. This is only a small gripe, as van did move to let us in car park.

It was impeccably clean, tidy, and very well presented. The bar and reception area was very well turned out to and the staff super helpful and very responsive. There was plenty of space to park our large van (going to an event).

Due no doubt to COVID, there was no catering at all onsite, which was rather a shame. The staff suggested Deliveroo or Uber Eats and certainly were able to offer decent tables and chairs to eat it at. It was a 15 minute walk into town but the restaurant options were a bit limited, but lots of takeaways.

This is a pretty good hotel, amazing value for money. Room had microwave, fridge and multiple beds when we booked a double. The parking is convenient. Booked as hotel stay at another hotel prior to attending this one then went to thorpe park. I was unwilling to drive back that same day and went to stay at this hotel the day after, booked at last min. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms are a little dated.

Very clean, nice room with a double and a single beds very comfy , decent bathroom with a good shower. Good facilities full size fridge microwave kettle and tea and coffee

Slightly unnerved by no ability to lock the door from the inside and no blinds or curtains in the bathroom, frosted glass but enough light from outside to be OK at night. A bit of road noise first thing in the morning as our room was at the front. But decent for the money

Great location and easy to find. Well priced and comfortable room. We arrived just before midnight and greeted with a smile when we checked in. Highly recommended!

None really. Bed a little hard but didn't detract from a good night's sleep.

Amazing food.

I have stayed here 5 times Have to say the service is Fantastic However they have a parking system the is appalling where you have to punch in your car details To confirm you have a vehicle .Which I have done every time as the rman Behind the bar is very vigilant in making sure that you do this. To my horror when I have got home about a week later I find I have 3 parking tickets issued by the people the control the parking at the hotel and now have to appeal all of them which is terrible and a really bad service, for that reason I would not recommend this hotel until they come up with a better system.
