Absolutely Spotlessly clean. Good limited breakfast selection was only expecting continental, but full English provided. Breads, cereals, yoghurts and preserves. (just don’t arrive too late for breakfast as they did run out on their bread selection. Excellent location. Provided mattress toppers as beds are too solid without them. (Other rooms automatically had them we missed out by not asking for them). Good pub within walking distance serving food so no need to worry about driving back to hotel.

Would have like it if they provided tea and coffee facilities in the room rather than having to bring our own travel kettles. But would still stay here again despite it.

Second year of staying in area, this was the best option and 10 minutes from the Race Curcuit. Facilities were spot on for my group of three. Room and breakfast area were completely ideal. Secure parking barrier and cameras. Staff were friendly and professional.Have stayed in far higher rated premises and not been as welcomed as this Ibis. The room was clean, beds, comfortable and quiet.

Difficult to say what I didn't like. The shower drain wasn't effective the water in wet room got very close to passing under door into bedroom. In fairness it's the only aspect of note.

We a budget room needed to lay your head before a visit to nearby Alton Towers. Was exactly what we needed, clean, comfy and staff all really friendly and helpful. Paid for the breakfast which was alright for what it was. I made sure I read the hotel description and info so you know what to expect in terms of facilities. There were no surprises and just what we needed.

What I didn't like was nothing to do with the hotel, it was the other eatery services on the estate that shut earlier than advertised, so if you need to eat of an evening...dont get there late at night with children who need feeding.

Comfy large bed . Great shower

The car park entry / exit Ridiculous lining the car up in the box - not being able to reach the machine because of the lining up which didn’t always work . Too many bits of paper involved - the tickets . It’s not as if the machine was involved with taking the fee anyway Why not just input car registration at reception after paying the fee and the technology just knows the length of your stay no matter how many times you enter / exit the car park . It was an absolute pain and wasn’t in place on my first visit .

The room was very clean and adequate for my stay of 4 nights. Stayed during the most recent heat wave and initially had been concerned if the air conditioning would be up to the task needed to stay cool. It was more than good enough. Room became nice and chilled within minutes and was so refreshing to have when getting back each day. Also made it so much better for sleeping on the night

Only issue if anything is how cramped the bathroom is but that's if I had to be critical.

Conveniently located for my destination (Tamworth). Last minute booking so £55 was quite reasonable IMO. Quiet despite being close to the A50. It is what it is, a budget hotel and ideal for a one night stop over. Cleanliness was good. Free tea and coffee available in the lobby. Acceptable buffet breakfast. Restaurant/carvery nearby - 3 minutes walk.

Car parking - £3 charge and difficult to gain entry no clear instructions and poor intercom. Bed was too firm for my liking. Coffee machine was broken in morning but kettle and instant coffee provided.

Stayed here for four years in a row for Bloodstock. Always a great stay with fantastic staff. Had one minor blip this year, see below.

On the last night of our four night stay the rather rude receptionist (the first time any of us had ever seen her) was asked for some pints from the bar. She at first said the bar was closed. It was then pointed out that we had been served until 3am the previous three nights. She then decided that we could have pints but would have to drink them in our rooms. It was pointed out to her that it was a hotel and not a prison. Begrudgingly she served some of us. The rest of the staff were amazing but this rather rude lady who was obviously having a bad day and just could not be bothered and it left a little bit of a bad taste in our mouths. Especially as we were very well behaved and had spent a small fortune the previous three evenings in the bar.

easy to find. plenty of parking, staff exceptionally attentive and very polite and helpful. quite room , great tea n coffee making facilities 24hr free from cafe area. shower was got and amazing. room was small and tightly packed with everything I needed and was cosy and warm. bed was extremely comfortable.

the only thing I noticed was a dirty ceiling, it had what looked like greesy spots on the ceiling , yellow spots, the bath towel provided was stained with what looked like rust colour but smelt clean.

It was all very lovely and close to facilities as we as having good facilities too. I was quite impressed. To say it was a budget hotel. It was superb.

3 things 1st, no tea or coffee making in the room. It was available 24/7 but who wants to trudge up n down all night. 2nd, I personally prefer bath and shower. 3rd, just felt a bit too clinical for me, like a pod rather than a room. Curtains would change that feel. It felt very enclosed, like a capsule once the blind was down. But otherwise I cannot fault a thing.

This hotel is located in a small service stop. It was so close to our planned route. We arrived late, were met by friendly staff who had been able to accommodate my simple requests. An immaculately clean room, travel cot and bathroom in our accessible room. There's tea and coffee available in the lobby and the breakfast was simple but plenty available.
