Very convenient for getting to Brighton Short walk to the sea and cliff walk Very clean and comfortable room Plenty of supplies for hot drinks and bottled water in the fridge. Lovely large bath towels There was a discount in the restaurant downstairs and the food and service was excellent

The sea view was a bit overstated as small window towards the sea! We stayed on the hottest day of the year (9th Sept) and the room was stifling. There was a small velux window that had limited opening. There was a fan but it had no effect at all. I appreciate that it was unusually hot and humid but may be invest in combined heater/fan for the future

We chose this accommodation because we were to be on a ferry from Newhaven the following morning. We were really warmly welcomed upon arrival by Hayley and her team. We were informed that they were having a monthly comedy night and we were invited to watch it. In fact, they held a table for us which was nice. We had a good dinner here and a few drinks and watched the comedy which was great fun, a real bonus to the start of our holiday! Our room was very good too. The staff were all very friendly which is always a winner. Recommended.

Nothing to dislike

Staff extremely friendly, room comes with a fridge which is a bonus, and they include morning juice which is a cute touch, beautiful view. Fan & heater provided so suitable for all temperatures. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend. Housekeeping were super helpful and accommodating.

Stairs up to the rooms with no other option meaning carrying heavy luggage. Carpark is stoned so awkward for pulling suitcases along. There was a drainage smell in the room when the bathroom door was left open.

Well placed if you need to be within Peacehaven. Its right in the middle of most of life. The room was clean, comfy and everything you need was there. Something they didn’t tell us - the room has a fridge. Which is actually really handy! Remember it’s up 4 flights of stairs, but they’re not the worst to climb up (as someone with mobility issues they’re just the right height if you can walk with a stick or crutches).

The car park has a significant ditch as you drive in - my car wasn’t a fan and it did scratch the nose of my Nissan Leaf (aka any car with a reasonable nose).

Convenient digs when visiting Peacehaven. Reasonably sized room, with a tiny bathroom. All the usual facilities, tea, coffee, etc. Rooms cleaned and serviced daily. Various small cafés within a few minutes walk for breakfast, etc.

Located on the main road directly above a bar/restaurant, and within earshot of several other eateries, means it's not the quietest location. Wasn't a problem for us, but could be for people looking to get an early night.

This is a very good location for an overnight stop before catching the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is available at the back of the property, but it is quite limited, and relies on other customers parking considerately... The procedure for checkout is simple and works well. The fridge in the room was very welcome, and the wifi worked quite well. The room itself was pleasant and clean.

There was some rubbish in the car park, probably from an ongoing refurbishment, which made parking a little more difficult. There is a lot of traffic noise from the main road at the front of the property, although it was not a problem for us during this stay.

We arrived late in the evening, but the communication from the property was excellent, and the arrangement for picking up the key was very good too. The room was quite small and basic, but clean and well maintained. Wifi was good. Car parking is available on site. It is quite small so park carefully. There is a convenience store opposite, which should be quite helpful if their morning delivery has arrived (it hadn't when we left, unfortunately). The property was very convenient for catching the ferry from Newhaven the next morning.

There is a lot of traffic noise from the busy main road outside. The facilities are labelled "boutique", and that might be slightly generous as a description, though they were more than adequate.

Location was 20 mins outside of Brighton. Nice and quiet and just close enough for a night out in Brighton. The hosts were lovely. We checked in very late because of delays at the restaurant in Brighton but the hosts were very nice about it. They were very welcoming and helpful and gave us advice about the best places to park next day. I would definitely stay here again and just wish we had booked for dinner as well.

The room was very warm but thankfully the staff had put a large fan in the room, which was brilliant. It's a bit out of the way but we didn't mind as we were tired and needed the peace and quiet of Peacehaven.

It felt like an Airbnb, had some very homely touches that made the room feel really comfortable. There was plenty of tea and coffee available in the room and some very lovely pots of porridge, ontop there was a mini fridge with some orange juice cartons. All of this made it feel very comfortable.

The toilet was loose from the floor, nearly fell off it, but was more comical than a problem, also the bar holding the shower head was loose. There was no hand soap available near the sink, but I used the complimentary body gel available from the shower.

The sea view from the room was lovely. Generous tea/coffee etc including porridge pots for breakfast. Having a fridge was a bonus especially as it contained cartons of orange juice. The room was clean and very comfortable. The food from bar below was reasonably priced and tasty. Parking was easy behind the property. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Seeing a dog do it's business in the pub garden a few tables away and watching it being bagged with 'bagger' saying she'd 'remove it in the morning at work' didn't do much for my appetite. Having the same dog looking for food while I was eating didn't help. If you're a dog lover you'd probably find it charming and wouldn't mind but I'm not so it was just annoying. Sitting a few tables from bagged dog poo while eating put me off my meal. I managed to force it down though because it was a really delicious burger.
