Everything else. The employees were really friendly. The location is great. It was also nice to have access via the entrance near the Coop.The bed was very comfortable

On Friday our room was not cleaned. We left at around 10 am, and we saw that rooms were being done. However when we returned in the evening we saw that ours had not been cleaned. We had run out of toilet paper, so we had to ask for it at reception. At breakfast, some food ran out quickly and it was not always replaced as it was not available (Soya milk on our second day, pastries and granola on Sunday)

We were all so pleasantly amazed at everything. All the staff were so customer focused, professional, helpful and friendly. The cleanliness was above excellence, the breakfast was exquisite, the variety and the quality of the breakfast were exceptional. The overall cost of our stay was perfect, however, had it cost us more, we would not have minded as the whole experience was worth it. The fact that the hotel accepts dogs is a bonus as a lot of people are dog lovers and find it difficult to go on holidays with their beloved pets due to restrictions. Well done

Great staff, very helpful, and aim to please. Made our stay a pleasant and comfortable one. We will return in the near future, and will look at booking a room with a harbour view.

The pillows are very soft, and the beds are very firm - not a negative comment, just personal preference. We could not open the window in the room, however, we understand this might of been for health and safety reasons due to the height of the hotel. Air conditioning is available and we made use of this during our stay to compromise on natural ventilation from the window, again just personal preference.

Hotel was in great location and it was pretty clean although Sunday morning was not great but the rest of the days the room was cleaned very good , stuff some were friendly and some were not so happy to interact , restaurant had good menu , breakfast was good for the price

As mentioned earlier Sunday morning room service wasn’t great at all dirty cups and glass was still in the room and shower wasn’t given good rinse , some of the stuff are not good with interacting even for simple questions but some were lovely , the restaurant menu great but 24/7 menu doesn’t have anything other than pizza avalible as we been told we can order pizza , and also why blue cheese to most things even in bbq chicken wings was no no for us however we eat few times In restaurant as we liked a lot of other things in the menu

The property was very modern and clean, the decor suited the location and surrounding scenery. The facilities were excellent and corresponded exactly with the description. It definitely exceeded my expectations, just amazing

If a pool was present in the hotel that would be great.

Breakfast was good, even when busy. The lady who was clearing tables and restocking things during breakfast, works very hard . Whatever you are paying her, it isn't enough!! The location was fine and central to where we wanted to be. Public transport nearby was very handy.

After checking in I found that the extra bed hadn't been prepared but this was very quickly sorted out with no problems. No drop off/pick up parking. With the building work going on opposite the building, it made it awkward to collect anyone without carrying luggage further down the street.

I liked the location, decor, the view. The breakfast was great, nice rooms. helpful staff

It was a bit too hot for me. The windows don’t open and there was no way to regulate the room temperature. There is no car park on site.

Lovely clean hotel, right by the main area of Torquay and so walking distance to everything. Breakfast has a really good selection and rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recommend paying the extra for the harbour view room if you can. We had 2 rooms one harbour view and one land view. The land view was the wall of another building so was pretty unsightly and left the room dark. The harbour view on the other hand is lovely especially when the sun is out. Overall clean, comfortable hotel with friendly staff. A bit pricey for what it is, but I guess that's because of the location and I wasn't really disappointed with the quality of the hotel, so worth it in the end.

Land view rooms leave the room looking dark, but if given that you will be out of the room most of the time its not that much of a big deal. Air con in the room left me with a stuffy nose by the morning.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was great and comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful.

Booking.com had not updated their payment details with the hotel. Upon arrival, I was told by Reception that I had to submit my credit card in case payment to the hotel was not made b y Booking.com; I was being charged again for a room I had already paid for. This was hanging over me for the duration of my stay. Unsatisfactory! Happily, the pending payment was revoked a week after my holiday stay at the hotel.

Breakfast was fabulous Good produce apart from the baked beans. Cooked really well. Best English hotel breakfast by far. Clean and pleasant surroundings.

Baked beans. People on telephones at breakfast. Only two of things ,like glasses mugs and towels even though you knew that we were a party of three. Left hairdryer from our visit in June , even though we called to ask lost property if they had it in June and asked them to keep it, the staff had no idea to where it could be, so we came away without it.
