This hotel is a gem amongst a row of guest houses along the road. We were very welcomed as soon as we arrived by Stephanie, who by the way is the local oracle! What she doesn’t know about the local area is not worth knowing! She gave us so many tips about good places to eat and visit. Lovely welcoming family. Our room was lovely, we had a large superking size bed and the most beautiful bath! Our room was spotlessly clean when we arrived and serviced every day of our stay. Lovely little touches like tea and coffee, and a little bowl of sweets, also soap in the bathroom! The location is perfectly situated for the seafront and town and is within easy reach of public transport. This place exceeded my expectations and we will definitely be back with more family next time. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Excellent value for money, such a welcome from the owners. Took bags to room, explained where we could visit around the area. Showed where to park, everything was clean and tidy. Room was amazing and comfortable. On arrival it was explained about the TV being broken and that another one would be collected and put in place. I thought this was a lovely thing to do and really did exceed expectation of how the hotel is ran. The TV didn't bother me but to know they were concerned about this and had deal with the situation was excellent. I will for sure book again and hopefully next time a longer stay :)

We stayed one night with a very vocal 10month old. Nothing was to much. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast was amazing. Even the baby had his own portion. Bedroom exactly what was needed. Slept very well. Shower en-suite was perfect. Even had a communal bathroom downstairs if we wanted to bath the baby. So many nice little touches. Very close to the town as well. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we visited torquay.

Very nice hotel, our room was very spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. Our host was very friendly and knowledgeable about what’s good to visit and modes of transport to get there. Plenty of local eating places in the area.

Although this hotel is close to the sea front and promenade, it’s an easy walk to the prom, but the return has a little bit of an incline making it more difficult. Although there is plenty parking in the side streets at the rear of the hotel, there is only one hour limited parking to the front. This makes it a little more difficult for arrival and departure.

The hosts were absolutely lovely and happy to help whenever we needed them. They offered wonderful recommendations and placed brochures in our room to help us plan activities during our holiday which we found extremely helpful. The room was very clean and well maintained during our stay, and we had tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The location was perfect too as it was only a short distance away from the beach as well as the town centre.

I did not have breakfast. The room was perfectly clean and left tidy for the day. It was always very clean when we returned in the evening. The beds were very comfortable and excellent size for a good night's sleep. The host was very knowledgeable about local areas to visit and most helpful. A pleasant character.

The weather ! Would have liked more sunshine to have been on the beach.

The host was extremely welcoming and it felt like I was staying with a friend. The size of the bedroom was great. Fresh decor and ample storage. Extremely comfy bed. Large lounge that we could sit in in the evenings etc with tv. TV in room with kettle etc. plenty of coffee etc and decent sized mugs!!

Bathroom was small BUT it was stylishly decorated and the shower was perfect.

friendly accommodating staff, we arrived an hour early and there were no issues. they gave helpful advice about local facilities and good places to eat and park the car. the room was fresh, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and there were generous amounts of tea and coffee on n the room, and so sweets! also a good selection of leaflets for local attractions. easy location for the beach and Marina.

Everything about the accomodation was great. Bed was comfy, shower facilities great, clean and tidy and very welcoming.

The is not the hosts fault... sadly the walls were a little thin and we could hear the family next door talking, watching TV, kids crying/coughing, they made a lot of noise when they came back to their room in the evening and sounded like they were to-ing and fro-ing from the room opposite. There were some ?kids/?teenage girls who excitedly ran down the stairs from the upper floor in the evening and they were very loud. This was the only thing that ruined the stay a bit, and as I say, nothing to do with our host. Room neighbours aside, the stay was lovely

Good coms from the offset, early checkin offered & didn't bother us. Lovely couple. Great room as well. Location was great with lots to do around the area.

Nothing all was great. We had a lovely break & didn't want the breakfast option to allow us to have a nice lie in every morning. Room was cleaned every day & lots of Tea,& Coffee things left every day. Thanks for a lovely stay. Will be back no doubt ,
