OYO The Green Man Pub And Hotel

The staff were really helpful (apparently I steal the duvet so they found another one for my husband!) The bar and food looked really good, we didn’t actually eat in there ourselves but what we saw looked good! The rooms are cleaned daily by the house keeper who always checked if we needed anything when we saw her. There was a fridge, kettle and tea/coffee available. The property was a 10 minute walk from the nearest tube station which was ideal for us as we spent most of our time in central London. We could see Wembley arena from the car park and would probably be around a 20 minute walk to get to? We didn’t walk to it as didn’t need to go that way for anything. Asda was just up the road from it and it took us under 10 minutes to drive there. All in all it was a fantastic place to put your head down and get some kip. Definitely good value for money and I would hands down stay there next time we want to coat London.

The property itself is a little run down, but it was clean, comfortable and the staff were really friendly. Its at the top of a VERY steep hill, this wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, I need to lose a few pounds! Just putting it out there for people who may have poor mobility etc.

Excellent check in experience with the gentleman working behind the bar upon our arrival, unfortunately I didn't take his name but he was extremely efficient, friendly and helpful which was very much appreciated by us so thank you to him. Our room (number 3) was a decent size, clean and quiet for our two night stay, we were provided with clean towels each day so thank you to the room staff as well. Nice shower with piping hot water every day and a decent little TV to watch as well as a kettle and tea/coffee. Excellent location for the Wembley Arena and Stadium both are a short walk from the accommodation.,we will certainly stay here again if attending an event. We had a superb, freshly cooked and large portioned burger and fries meal in the bar on our second night and the food was also reasonably priced for the London area. Well done to the kitchen staff.

Our only slight criticism with the room is that it was a bit cold, there was a heater on the wall,however, we were a bit unsure on how to use it and it looked a bit old so didn't want to risk it. Maybe a small fridge could be added to the rooms as its room only and we struggled to keep our milk cold as we brought our own breakfast items.

I liked everything about this place. I choose this hotel mainly due to its location as I needed to get to Warner Bros. Studio in Watford. There are three underground stations within walking distance, so you can get anywhere you want in London and outside the city. If you are going to Watford, you can take the overground line and it only takes 25 minutes to get to Watford, so for me it was a huge asset! As regards the hotel itself, it is nice and cozy, our room was nice with comfortable beds, the bathroom was tidy and clean. There is a pub downstairs so we could grab a pint of beer after a long day of enjoying London. The owner is really kind and communicative. The hotel is located on a small hill, which is good and bad at the same time. You can enjoy a nice view of London and Wembley Stadium (which is basically just around the corner) but the hill is quite steep so it can be problematic for some people to get to the hotel on foot. All in all, I highly recommend this place.

Easy to reach, 10 minutes walk from OVO Arena and 15 from the stadium. It's comfortable for a night stay, we had plenty of coffee and tea in the room. There were a fridge and a microwave too. Bed pretty comfy and everything seemed clean to me. The pub it is just below the rooms but you can't really hear a thing if you are in the room so that did not bother me at all. Definitely coming back for the next concert.

Everything was just as described and how I expected. The only things that were missing were shampoo and shower gel. There wasn't a hair dryer either but we didn't ask for it as we didn't need it so I'm not sure if the hotel would provide for it.

The location was amazing; it was right next to Wembley stadium, and around the corner from Wembley Park tube station. The free car park was the main reason for our booking, as in the past our car park has cost more than our room and we found this very convenient. The check in process was easy; the staff were friendly and welcoming and the room had everything we needed. The bathroom was clean and tidy, the tea and coffee making facilities were plentiful and the bed was really comfortable. The pub, itself, was warm, inviting and friendly. It had dogs and children within in and all were welcomed by the staff and the environment that the staff have created there. My partner and I ate at the pub for our evening meal and the food was very reasonably priced and again, plentiful! The portions were huge and everything was piping hot. Cant wait to return; I would highly recommend.

Its the same for most inner city rooms; the lack of hair dryer in the room. I completely understand why they're not offered as standard and I only have short and thin hair, so it only takes a short time to dry naturally and can still be styled- but anyone with longer or thicker hair, remember a travel hairdryer :)

We are pleased with our stay, the room had everything we needed and, most importantly, the bathroom. Coffee/tea welcome. Good price-quality ratio. High-level service, everyone is nice. Free parking is a big plus, so you can make arrangements to stay longer. The location is ok if someone comes to an event at the stadium, in my case we went to the center, the metro is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. I will definitely come back.

Minus for the fridge not working. Noise floor when walking.

Perfect affordable stop for a few days in London! Staff were helpful and allowed us to store our bags/leave the bags in the room before check in opened up so we could venture into the city for the afternoon! Room was large and airy, included a microwave, mini fridge, kettle and coffee/tea which was a nice bonus! It was basic but perfectly comfortable - we were looking for a place to just sleep and shower and this place is perfect for just that! Plus it is fairly well connected with 3 train/underground stations within a 10-20 minute walk as well as bus services. Few things to note - hotel was at the top of a fairly steep hill which I didn't realise prior to arriving, thought this might be worth noting for people who may have difficulty walking! Also room does not include a hairdryer so be sure to pack one with you if you are travelling and require one after showering!

Noticed a few frayed carpets and cobwebs, also the floorboards were very creaky - building and interiors could be updated/refreshed in the future, but this did not impact our stay or opinion of the hotel in any way!

The hotel is located in a very good area, close to Wembley stadium, 3 minutes from the main street with shopping areas, restaurants, bus station, subway.I was greeted by a friendly and kind staff, the hotel has a restaurant, terrace, parking and a large and clean room, equipped with all the necessary facilities. It was a pleasant stay and that's why I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit London.

Apart from the fact that the area is quite crowded at certain times of the day, there is nothing I didn't like.

The whole place! Can't say enough good about The green man ! Staff where like old freinds but with attentiveness, consideration and the desire to be great hosts(not something i get from my old freinds. Lol), I've never felt so at home whilst working away before and I've been doing this for years. Food is great( have the homemade lasgna, unreal) the hotel is clean,all mod cons ect,Thank you to all that where working during my stay. I shall be back and bring my son.

excellent location (under 10 minutes to walk down a hill to ovo arena, wembley arena etc) friendly staff, easy check in, check out, tea and coffee, hangers, large mirror, parking, pub downstairs. All you need before/ after a night out in Wembley! We will definitely be coming back. The room doesn’t scream luxury…. but if you book a room above a pub you shouldn’t expect that either…..but….the bed is very comfortable, bathroom is clean so we were happy. The place had a scaffolding up as it was being re-decorated but it didn’t affect us at all.
