Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Buckhead

Staff was very nice. The hotel was very clean. My son (8) and I had the pool all to ourselves the first night and it was heated 😁

The room was a little crowded. Also, I had breakfast included in the cost of my stay and all they have for food is a Starbucks and so I assumed that's where the included breakfast was but after I ordered she said it was $40 🤔 wasn't until the second morning where I saw the small sign on the counter telling you what was included (same thing I ordered the day before!! ) But they didn't even ask or offer up the information either so that was a lesson learned.

Loved the outdoor area! Loved the key-card access laundry for guests (machines were clean which was a nice change)! The rooms were spacious, an especially nice touch is the clever desk which has another desk underneath it on wheels (a second one) which pulled out allowing a second person a desk in the room. This was super useful for people who were working from 3AM on our home country timezone. Bed was big and comfy. More than enough drawer space, hanging space and bathroom space. The hotel is an easy access to shopping centres, restaurants, coffee places and walking trails. Great self-parking on the hotel premises!

Again wifi didn't work for Linux, but again this was the case in most USA hotels, MAC and Windows machines worked fine. Stayed for a week and no complaints.

I had to pay 27 dollars a day for parking which wasn’t mentioned when I booked

Hotel staff were very friendly at check in. Bed was a little hard, but I managed to sleep ok (when I could sleep from the noise next door). Room was a nice size, and everything was clean. The only negative was I could smell weed in the hallway and there were young adults (20s) in the room next to ours apparently having a party in their room and were very loud until around 3 AM.

Noisy neighbors apparently having a loud party next door to us until around 3AM. And strong smell of weed in the hallway. Maybe the hotel security should roam the hallways after a certain time and if guests are being too loud then investigate. I paid my money just like they did, except I paid for a nights rest and they apparently paid to party all night. Unacceptable.

Nice facilities, friendly valet staff, small convenient store for beverage/snack purchases, heated pool

Used text option for call ahead valet to retrieve vehicle very delayed response, options of snacks extremely limited in convenient store, obligatory valet or offsight self parking.

the staff at the front desk wasn’t knowledgeable and even after I’ve paid / checked out i keep getting and trying to be charged and nobody seems to know why or keep giving me the run around and my husband was just hung up on while speaking with corporate

Yes I was surprised that my reservation was for one room only instead of 2 since a family of 5 because the name of the room was misleading "Double room with Twin Bed" for average customer like me it will look like I have reserved 2 rooms instead of one. Anyway after I explained to this to the Manger @ Marriot " Gay-Marry Ann" I believe her name is. She understood completely as the name is misleading and she gave an extra room with Manger discount so I was very happy after long day of traveling. Codo for the Manger for stepping up for what is right

The staff was wonderful and helpful. The location for us was good.

The bathtub/shower had a sloped edge, could be very dangerous for the elderly. No spoons to eat your yogurt.

There was really no breakfast!

The rooms are outdated as far as furniture. There was no stationary or any material that would show an actual menus or information specific on the service and or services inside the hotel.;5

Room was comfortable to work in and sleep. Location is great for my purposes. Not the first time I’ve stayed at this hotel traveling for work, most likely won’t be the last. Staff at hotel was great!

Only preference or slight draw back is the quality of food (lack of breakfast/dinner options) at the hotel itself, otherwise everything else is great!
