Miramare Gardens Boutique Accommodation

Breakfast is at the Sandstone cafe. Most of their trade is from neighbourhood residents and cyclists as there are not many hotel guests. The breakfast menu is very limited with no porridge, cereal, yoghurts or other basic items that one would expect with breakfast. I did find a quinoa/coconut/berries combination that also had a little granola but it was expensive for the size of the portion. the Coffee was very good, however Our room looked out on the garden which was quiet and secluded.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, clean. On site underground parking included was appreciated as the weather was showery. Had an evening meal in the on site Cafe and it was no trouble to cater for some food allergies of one partner,,staff most polite and accommodating.

Not that they can change it but a very unusual /confusing entrance to main foyer and parking. No evening meal available on the Sunday as the cafe was shut (but there was a notification of cafe hours visible in the lift.)

Location was quite good and close to my needs. Very large room. Very quiet. Driveway in was a bit scary but I managed to get a large car around the corner. Drop Box for after hours was straight forward for obtaining key. Great parking underneath the building with lift. Motel was close (by car) to a hotel with good evening meal.

Bedding appeared to be mainly synthetic. No SkyNews was a big disappointment. The most expensive motel I have stayed at in Australia but I did expect a premium price.

We booked a garden view suite which was a lovely large room, elegantly furnished. There was a large and beautiful ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower. The bathroom and the room were so clean and fresh we felt we were the first couple to have stayed in this room. The whole hotel had a lovely fresh and clean feel, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The Sandstone Cafe was excellent for our breakfast.

They were not open for dinner on the Monday that we had booked, so we made other arrangements - but it would have been good to have been able to have dinner in the nice Sandstone Cafe.

We didn't stay for breakfast but the property is lovely. A little tight with the parking but was a lovely stay.

The reception did advise they would close at 5pm which is too early and when we left in the morning after 7.30am it was closed. Could have longer hours for the reception for customers.

I ate dinner in the Sandstone cafe the night I arrived choosing an entree and dessert- good presentation and taste I didn't have breakfast due to other commitments. I checked out and brought my father to the cafe for lunch on Sunday, which we both enjoyed. The cafe has a nice ambience and garden outlook with a great chef and helpful staff. It is a family owned business and guests are made to feel very welcome.

The on arrival process needs more information for first time guests to alert them to park in narrow driveway outside reception door, put on hazard lights to warn cars coming round the building and quickly check in so that you can get your room key, which will give the guest access to the underground carpark for hotel guests and lift into accommodation

First night was quiet (which we asked for in booking). 2nd & final night was noisy due to a wedding event, and we didn’t realize until leaving the next morning we had the wedding party staying directly across from our room. They were very noisy well into the night & in the morning

Lack of staff available on reception , called reception from our room three times to ask a question no answer .. called direct line to get a staff member .. more information about event location when checking in would be helpful

The receptionist for our check in was amazing. The room was beautiful, big, the bed really comfortable, everything was perfect

We haven’t saw anyone for the check out so we went to the restaurant (as it was write) and they told us we have to see the reception and if there’s no one just to leave. They weren’t friendly at all.

A clean room and the bed was amazingly comfortable for a nights sleep. Was there for a wedding and it was so convenient having the accommodation connected to the reception. The cafe has a delicious menu as well. Thanks for having us
