We opted for a 2 night stay in Wagga Wagga on our return to Sydney from Melbourne. Our check-in was warm, welcoming and helpful, thanks to GM, Michael, who explained our room location and access, parking, facilities and entry to the attached Wagga RSL. Entry to the Club was by walking from our top floor room (the facility only has a ground and first floor, the latter being accessed by a flight of stairs), then taking 4 steps down to another landing and straight into the Club. The room was well-presented and clean, with a super comfy KS bed (with pillow top - a rarity in some of the accommodations in which we have stayed), and looked towards the Bowling Green. The room was serviced daily during our stay - thanks to the housekeeping staff!

The room had a bar fridge only, however as Wagga Wagga was part of a larger itinerary, we would have appreciated a fridge with a freezer, as we were transporting some items in a small esky which required ice bricks.

We just stayed for a night on our way back to Melbourne. The rooms were really good and well maintained. It looked like they do clean it very well. My kids loved the pool so they were all evening in the pool. It’s not only suitable for family but alone traveller or person travelling for work. We didn’t know this property is busy as it is next to RSL club. You can go in the club and use its pub to grab a drink or go in the coffee place to and nibble something. Down the road there is Woolworth. In the morning I went for my walk so I came across the lovely neighbours too.

Should have stayed longer

The Wagga RSL Club Motel is close to all the shops,cafes & restaurants . The rooms were elegant , spacious & quiet and had all the essential things you need when travelling. All the staff were warm & friendly & so helpful . The RSL is connected to the back of the Wagga RSL Club Motel so convenient & we ate there for dinner & breakfast while staying there , the food was fresh & tasted amazing . We will definitely be booking in advance & staying at the Wagga RSL Club Motel from now on . All of this made it a very happy & positive stay & experience for my family & I .

Nothing.

The room is specious, modern and clean. The facilities, TV, AC are easy to use. It’s very handy to have access to RSL Club, the food is great value with a great quality! There’s a kids club in the RSL with toys books for all ages. They also provide a great travel cot with all the bedding you need for your little one.

Nothing to do with the motel, but the kids club has boxing games, which is a bit inappropriate for younger kids. It would be better if they have an indoor playground for kids.

Good location, great to be connected to RSL - convenient for dinner. Nice upper story room with good facilities.

All was fine, but beds weren’t configured how we requested, and our TV didn’t work. Nor was anyone around next morning at checkout for me to let them know. They did admit to a big booking the night before they were still trying to recover from though. Small things that didn’t ruin the experience though - still great staff and an excellent place to stay. Will do so if in town again.

The room was amazing, clean, tidy, spacious, modern and most importantly the bed was so warm and comfortable. I love that you can go directly to the club in the morning (or any time of day) and the rooms are pin code instead of a card. I love the vending machine and the vucaster in the room!

I think the parking was a little tight - I know that there was a car show, and they kind of double parked over some of the spots as they did not want to get their cars scratched, but in saying that some of them also had 2 or 3 cars, meaning that the carpark was fuller as well - but that is not a big issue!

Excellent location , comfortable room with a courtyard . For your dinner just a phone call and dinner delivered to room or walk across carpark up a flight of stairs to RSL Club . Great selection of meals and open for breakfast . Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very spacious rooms with comfortable beds . Highly recommend a stay to any one travelling through Wagga Wagga

Well appointed room, comfy bed. Dark drapes, nice view of bowling green. Excellent air con. Lovely pool to swim in as it was hot during our stay. We had an evening meal and breakfast in the bistro at the RSL (entered from the hallway of our guest room) and the food was wonderful. Also grabbed takeaway coffee from the cafe there, a nice coffee. Friendly bistro staff and reception staff to welcome us.

No lift to 2nd floor rooms ok for us but something to be mindful of when booking.

Absolutely everything. Have stayed here before. This place has everything to offer from Michael the owner and his staff. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The spa bath was amazing to relax in. Big walk in shower. You had everything you needed in your room to stay in and get Chinese or other food from the RSL Club. The Chinese as usual was fantastic. Very reasonable priced for the wonderful Motel!

Nothing. It was a beautiful two day stay.

We were pleasantly surprised with the location of the Motel and convenience of being right next to the club was a bonus after a long day shopping. The room was clean, fresh, bright and well equipped. Bed was comfortable and the complex was very quiet.

It always amazes me how most motels expect you to fill up your kettle in the bathroom (which is fine) but as the tap does not swivel, you end up tipping half the water out by the time you manoeuvre the kettle under and around.
