Delicious breakfast from A la Carte menu, lovingly prepared fresh. Good coffee too. Room was large, well equipped, comfy bed good pillows. So handy to have the cable car to top of hill next door. Town has a good 'feel', is buzzing and many events and museums. Needed more time to see everything. Charming helpful staff. Hotel well located, cleverly designed, a gem.

probably an uncontrollable issue... The sound proofing in our charming attic room roof space revealed itself problematic. The woman next door in high heels who first paced the floor and then had loud long sexual encounters at 4 am was to say the least unwelcome. I did enter the corridor and request some quiet. Didn't really work. A one off I hope...

A very individual hotel. I imagine that every room has its own personality. Set into the Schloßberg rock the Kai 36 has a little surprise around every corner. The pool was a welcome addition in the 34 degree heat. Don’t let the fact that breakfast is not included put you off. The little cafe within the hotel serves breakfast until 14:00. It was a welcome change to the usual hotel breakfast buffet to be able to relax over a freshly prepared delicious coffee, your choice of eggs and much more.

Although the bedroom was very spacious, it would have been nice to have more shelving in order to unpack more of our things. The terraced areas around the pool could have used a few more sunshades… I realise the high temperatures during our stay are not the norm in Austria.

Beautifully reconstructed hotel, design is great. Very comfortable room, great view towards the river, proximity to city center. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy outdoor pool, but it looked amazing.

Breakfast at the restaurant was only average, was expecting amazing food, given the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The privacy of the bathroom could also be an issue, as it has glass window towards the room, and glass door with zero soundproofing.

Comfortable hotel, with lovely, friendly staff and a great terrace overlooking the city. Our room had its own outside space, but it wasn't very appealing so we didn't use it, I wouldn't book that option again. A good breakfast menu is available in the café downstairs. Location is great and there's a tram stop just outside. If you're coming from the train station, you need to get a tram to Hauptplatz/Congress then change to a 3 or 5 to get to the hotel (less walking than the option offered by Google Maps!) - note the tram station is down the escalator outside at the front of the station.

wonderful staff; able to assist when I could not climb stairs to original room booked; fabulous, whimsical art throughout the property; my new room was a childhood fantasy of a loft space with windows that opened to the street and sound of the River. Really wonderful kind and smart employees!!!

older individuals (I will be 80 on my next birthday) need to be cautioned that some rooms are only accessible by stairs, not a lift. but that problem was solved by changing rooms. recommend explanation in room selection process: “this room is accessible by stairs only”.

I was here during a work trip. Overall, very good experience. Breakfast and pool very relaxing. I could enjoy my breakfast directly outside my room (n2) in the table area of the ground floor.

Due to my budget, I could only book the room for one Sunday night for 125€ (and free parking in the area). The other days it would get too expensive. Judging from my room comfort and location, not sure if there were cheaper options but already booked rooms, which were inside the building and felt more like a normal hotel.

We liked absolutely everything about the hotel. from very warm welcome, through perfect service and room upgrade until "see you soon". Location is perfect to be close to the city center, yet away from crowded streets. Room was very tidy and stylish, while food at the cafe downstairs is delicious and , importantly, from local producers and farmers.

My Boyfriend and I stayed only for one night . The hotel ist just amazing ! Beautiful architecture, interior and exterior . The staff is beyond nice and very welcoming . We also had a breakfast at the Hotel restaurant which also was a 10 / 10. We highly recommend this hotel and we def will go there again .

This is one of the coolest hotels we’ve been. We loved the design and interior decoration of the stairs, corridors and our room. We couldn’t use the swimming pool as it was a bit too cold but it looked incredible. We also had breakfast in the café (not included in the room price), which was good.

Just a few nits: - We only got one key for the room, being two people, which was a bit inconvenient when we didn’t leave together. - They charge 25€ per pet per stay, which is a bit on the expensive side, especially if you only stay for 1 night. - Checkout is at 11am. Would be nice if it was at noon, which I believe is more common.

The rooms are very nice. The overall interior design of the hotel as well. Nice pool and good location. The fact that you can have breakfast until 2 pm was a very nice surprise!

The ventilation of the bathroom is not optimal. It stays humid and towels for example don't dry.
